According to reports, a new copyright has been made for Jyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. As the name suggests, it may possibly be another Dinosaur themed series (kyoryu- dinosaur)

Sweet as hell! I would seriously look forward to a new dino themed series. But is it it me or is this copyright a little ahead of the usual norm? Perhaps an early end for Gobusters?

Eh, not really. If I remember right it was around mid-late September when we got the Go-Busters copyright info.

This sounds like it could be interesting though. Using some Google Translate-fu it seems like that "Jyuden" means something like "Electric Beast". I have no idea what that could entail.

It's really nothing to freak out over. We usually start hearing rumours of the next series around this time.

Guess your right. I remember hearing the Buster rumors around episode 30-ish of Gokaiger.

If Gobuster really was ending early, we would've gotten more then a trade mark copy right by now I think.

Dinosaurs would be tremendously welcome. If anything, unless they mess up really bad, we'll get some really cool mecha. Very, very excited to hear what's coming up.

I hope the mechas are organic this time round. Been some time since we had organic mechas. I think the last one can be considered to be Goseigers? That's 2 years back.

Actually the Goseiger mecha were pretty mechanical. I haven't watched the series, but weren't they animal headers attached to actual vehicles? That would mean that the last true "organic" mecha were those of Gekiranger (I'm not sure whether Shinkenger's Origami count).

I must be the only one underwhelmed by another Dino themed show. I'd rather something original, but I guess with Go-Busters doing so poorly I guess Toei want to play it safe.

I wouldn't consider this a confirmation though, because this time last year there were trademark rumours of the western themed Sentai flying around.

This is pretty much how we learned the name "Gokaiger" so the listing is possibly legit.

And if it is true it would make perfect sense; the previous dinosaur based shows were incredibly popular (Abaranger being the highest-rated Sentai of the last ten years) and with ratings struggling so much at the moment Toei would probably want to go back to a "tried-and-true" setup.

Western Sentai would be pretty fine by me too. I think it's long overdue, to be honest.

Yeah looking back, I think you're right. I believe organic mecha's cockpit are roughly like Aba and Geki where the rangers stand in a space rather then sitted with levers and buttons.

Same here. I could definitely see a Western Sentai working. They've done a lot of themes, so a cowboy theme wouldn't be too ludicrous.

As far as Kyoryuger goes...well, we've had a few themes reused before in Super Sentai, like ninjas, martial arts, and animals, so having another dinosaur theme is fine by me.

At this point for me, Anything is better than Go-busters.... i have seriously lost faith in the show. Here is hoping that its epic

technically we did get a westernish sentai, think of the whole spy thing, annoying robot companion literally called buddyroid, morphin time for gods sake!

I would love to see another dinosaur themed Super Sentai.

Zyuranger set the bar for Super Sentai and really boosted the show's status. Abaranger came in and also gave the franchise another boost when it needed it. Now the franchise is once again in need (subpar Goseiger, a relatively lackluster showing for Gokaiger, and abysmal ratings for GoBuster) ... so bring out the dinosaurs!

Would love another Red/Black/Blue/Yellow/Pink/Green motiff as a throwback to Zyuranger. Hell, even add a 7th White Ranger, haha.
