S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Rider 1 Sakurajima Version!
 

A magazine scan has revealed a new Show-era Rider Figuart! Bandai Tamashii will be releasing their Showa Rider 1 figure in an all new colorscheme based on the apperance he made in his triumphant return in the original series in 1971 during Rider 2's reign of the series!

He is due out at regular retail with a release date of January 2013 for 2940 Yen!

What amazes me is that Bandai isn't trying to screw us over with this release by making it some kind of web exclusive.

Glad they're giving us a different version so we can differentiate the two originals, but I think I'll wait for a black-helmet Rider 2 ala Megamax.

I think I like the original colour better... but this one comes with a sword... hmmm choices =p

The first Rider 1 Figuart also came with the sword.

I'm just going to get the reissue that is coming out in Nov.

Ah good call, I think I'd rather have that to differentiate them too. Hopefully it'll get released.

I'm waiting for the Black helmeted Nigou too, since I already have the current Ichigou (With the green head).

I already have the current Ichigo and Nigou but im pretty much all in on Showa Riders. And this looks pretty nice. I can display this one with Nigou while my original rides The First Cyclone.

Somewhat like this colorscheme better. Also, the "3" in "2013" isn't in bold.
