Power Rangers Figuarts to be on display at NYCC?
 

As we draw closer to both the New York Comic Con and the 20th anniversary of the Power Rangers franchise, there have been more and more merchandise reveals. Most recently, the mysterious Derringer has dropped by various toku fansites, including our very own TokuNation, to share this message about what Bandai distributor Bluefin has planned for NYCC.

also lets hope this line does not get the habit on having some realses as standered then rest exclusives like gokaiger had pink and yello shinkenger had the rest of the team and deka well greens and exclusive

It will be interesting to see if they go with a skirt or trousers for the yellow ranger. but then i've probably just guessed one of the exclusives there along with the dragon shield red.

yeah, a red ranger....or Dragon ranger with removable shield will totally be bought.....a heck I'd get them all!

Having removable armour is the one thing I think is less likely than Power Rangers exclusive characters.. Figuarts is all about having a lot of detail, and there's just no way they could have the arm straps removable, without them looking horribly inaccurate and clunky. They didn't even give us Super Shinken Red with a removable coat and that would have been far easier.

I'll pretty much guarantee that the armour on Dragon Ranger will be fixed on and Armoured Tyranno will be an exclusive (with a possible mass release for the US).

Yeah, a female Tiger Ranger variant wouldn't be too unlikely (although it still shouldn't have a skirt). I can totally see that being a Comic Con exclusive or even just an exclusive US variant. All they need to do is give him/her pink's torso and paint it yellow.

Zedd and Goldar are the only villains worthy of becoming Figuarts. Maybe Rita, but I doubt she'd get it.

My wife is gonna give me a real dirty look when she finds me yelling its morphin time! In my toy room while I'm playing with these!

Not expecting anything more than the six Zyurangers but this will be exciting nonetheless. Holding my breath for at least one Zeo ranger on display too.

I also look forward to these being almost as costly/just as much of a hassle to get in the UK as they would be if they were Tamashii web exclusives :lol

A male figure with a female chest? That don't seem like something they'd do. I'd think that they'd give her an entirely female body.

i think there going to go full on zyuranger and just maake yellow to be Boi due to these might ened up gettign realsed in japan as well so we have to remeber footage is male so yellow will be male

The female figures so far have had exactly the same moulds as the males, just with a different chest and shorter legs. The Akibaranger girls both had completely unique moulds, but that's unfortunately unlikely to continue.

I don't think there's any question of that. These will still be released in Japan first, Zyuranger is pretty popular there too, they're just being brought over to the US as Power Rangers instead. If they really want to go the extra mile, it wouldn't be too hard for them to change the chest on the figure. But it does seem rather unnecessary and I personally don't think they'll bother at all, since it is technically more show accurate.

Never watched Mighty Morphin PR but if the prices are fair I'd buy them all without a second thought.

Whatever is going to be there I can't wait to see it in person.

Yea but you guys cheat. Not fair making predictions when you can reverse time by stopping the Earth's rotation or go back in time by using a Bullet Train piloted byan Imagin with anger management issues.

Those molds are entirely different except for heads and maybe bicep/hands. The forearms are different, as well as the rest of the non-arm body.
