Pretty good episode. Is that actually Airi-san's actor, or do they just look similar? Also, isn't this the first time Haruto's directly transformed in to a style other than Flame?

That is definitely her. I'd recognize her anywhere.

This was another good episode but I noticed a lot of dead time before and after henshins and way too much slow-mo in the fight scenes. It seems like they padded this one out a bit for some reason. Like they wind changing direction before Haruto went Land Style. Was there a point to that?

Who? The only Airi I know of is an anime character.


Another good episode. I'm loving these western myth based monsters of the day. I'm kind of hoping Haruto fails this one because I want to see what creature she'd become. I'm thinking she'd be a succubus.

Is is me or was Shunpei having an Akiko moment at the first of this episode?

I don't know why this was 2 episodes -its like they stretched a monster of the week story into two shows, and i'm curious why.

This chick better be important to the overall plot.

Get use to it. Kamen Rider has been doing 2-part stories since before most of us were born. It's just how the show. It's like Adam West Batman, but with more wait time between parts.

PS I know the first episode was stand alone, but that's unusual for Kamen Rider.

An okay episode. Kind of curious about the ring Wajima tried to give to the chick.

I still await the day we see Wizard fail to save a Gate (Just basing this statement on the somewhat sexist but still extremely common trope that men are the expendable gender. If Haruto fails, it'll probably a guy who dies, not a beautiful lady).
That said, a con artist who uses her looks to get men to buy her stuff is fine, but did she really think scheduling dates with so many of them was a smart idea? Even if she had no clue Wajima, Shunpei, and the donut guy knew each other, can a couple extra dollars really be worth it?

I enjoyed the episode, I actually liked the fight scenes in this more than usual. Overall the episode was more stylized than normal. I'm thinking Manami might be the first Gate we see become a Phantom, but maybe that's wishful thinking! She already seems pretty morally corrupt.

Haruto's reaction to losing his donuts is the most emotive he's ever been on the show.

It was a pretty okay episode. At least Junko Komura's writing has improved a little since jumping over from Super Sentai. And yes, Wakana-chan is as gorgeous as ever.

Actually, it's really only been a major thing since 2005. The earlier Heisei shows were much more serialized and the Showa era was mostly done-in-ones with the occasional two-parter (aside from early V3, which was almost all two-parters for the first 15-20 episodes).

When will we get another element's kick strike ?

Airi's actress was really good in this episode, she had me convinced she was a completely different person than the sweet if sometimes naive girl we know from Den-O. I actually thought she was a phantom before we saw the actual one, thinking she went after men to raise their hopes only to crush them and send them into despair (yeah, forgot about the whole Gate thing for a moment there). The actual phantom was pretty cool though.

Aw, when I heard it was a gnome phantom I was hoping for something a little more stereotypically gnome-like :(

Not a bad episode, although like Den-O said it did feel a little padded in places. Someone needs to put the Sonic Colours drill theme to that Land Style sequence too :lol

A good episode, although it does feel like it should be shorter than it actually is. I'd like to see more of the backstory for that Airi actress and I have a feeling her story will be more fleshed out next ep. Also Koyomi only got 2 mins of screen time out of the entire episode. NEED MORE KOYOMI!!

I'm actually all for this. Setting aside my disdain for Koyumi, Wizard doesn't have the need to shoehorn in every character into every episode. While I doubt we're gonna go an episode without Rinko (I'm still rather positive Shunpei will become part of the background once Beast shows up), it's still nice.

Not bad, really. It's all set-up for wacky comedy, but I credit Wizard for giving us someone so unlikeable and yet still needing to be saved.

The monster of the fortnight is also pretty cool as well--even if he comes off as a less coked out Weather Dopant at times.

Also cool to see some of the other element forms getting some play. :)

I was wondering what the hell the Phantom of the week was suppose to be…honestly, I was under the impression he was suppose to be some kind of shark or something.

Nice episode, but I'm not a fan of how air-style moves in the air. It should be acrobatic and fluid, not a standing person moving through the sky. Based on what I've seen from other shows they can do things like that, so I don't see why it's an issue here. Aside from that though, I loved it. Especially Haruto's reaction when his donuts got crushed.

You just reminded me that I was able to enjoy two perfect Plain Sugar Donuts this morning XD

I have a craving for donuts every time I watch a Wizards ep. I've already eaten more donuts over the past month than 2 years beforehand combined.

I just realized that the reason I randomly bought a pack of doughnuts last week must have been this show. Damn subliminal messaging! :lol

I buy them of my own free will! Haruto just reminds me that I need to pick up one when I go on campus the next day :lol

I don't know why I found it so amusing that the Gnome Phantom was a snobby restaurant owner. I find it rather intriguing that, for the most part, each of these phantoms-of-the-week could just be out terrorizing the city whenever (theoretically) but they instead choose to continue on with their gate's former life and make it their own. Aside from the fact that they kill humans to get into this world and the other Phantoms bent on destroying it, I kinda empathize with them a tiny bit.

If that made any sense. :lol

Watched it this morning...

Kept thinking the girl would end up being a Phantom. Guess I was wrong there.

But for the Phantom that did show up - how the heck is that thing a gnome??? It looks a lot more like some mermade to me. It even has a trident and finned arms. Only the hat-like gives a gnome feel.

And.. I'm actually starting to like the larger supporting cast. Just like with W, it makes it feel like a real place. It probably won't end up a lot like Fuuto (does Wizard's city even have a name), but it still feels nice.

We still have an episode with her. I'm still hoping she becomes a succubus.

I don't think lawn gnomes exist in Japan. Heck, I don't think lawns exist in Japan :p

This isn't Eastern mythology so the production might just be ignorant to what's wrong just from unfamiliarity. Eitherway, they did make the gnome an Earth element, he uses the underground to his advantage, and has the head. I give is a -B. Could do better. In fact, I think they should've gotten a midget (small person for PC police) in the suit. That would've made it the best monster ever.
