Go-Busters Mission 33 discussion "Morphin! Powered Custom!"
It's upgrade time!
As Enter steps up his game with even more powerful Metaroids, the Go-Busters find they need an extra boost to fight. Discuss here! |
Powered Custom has awesome powers.

Fantastic episode, even better than the last two weeks' Gavan crossover.
The plot seems to be heading into an interesting direction with even better Metaroids, Enter just gets better and better (finally putting Escape in her place) and while they might not be much to look at design-wise, the Powered Custom upgrade more than made up for it in terms of powers. Hopefully this will mean much more Buddyroid involvement for the rest of the series too. It feels good to be genuinely excited about this series on a weekly basis again :D (Oh yeah, and it seems Blue Buster is now Edward Elric :lol) |
so i take that the metaroids grow to megazord size now due to they cant summon an vangrass megazord
|
Megazords seem to still be created when a Messiah Metaroid is formed, it just takes longer for them to appear. The episode ended with Jin saying "We still have a Megazord to deal with" and Kuroki looking at the timer.

Gobusters was grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat this week. And I'm not just saying that because of Tony the Tiger :p
But seriously, this was a huge improvement over the last few episodes. Don't get me wrong, I like Gavan and his new actor, but I thought those episodes were badly written with the Gobusters cast out of character most of the time. Especially last week's episode. That was a waste of an episode. This week, PLOT! Enter's finally back to being sinister. They remembered the Gobusters have powers and just killed their parents (though I'm still peeved they haven't shown any signs of mourning for them). Plus I called it, "Biomerge Digivolution Active!" :p |

I get that they want to regain the funds lost during the making of this show, but still, dinosaurs are not my favorite thing in the world. |
This was another really great episode continuing the upward trend of Gobuster. Really enjoyed this one. From the very start of the series I wanted Enter to be the real villain anyway and at this point I think he is. Yes he has Messiahs cards and is attempting to resurrect him. But did anyone else notice that when his eyes glowed and Escape calmed down that maybe Enter had absorbed one of Messiahs' cards? Should the other 12 (now 11) cards and their metaroids fail Enter will be the sole repository or Messiahs' data. His form has changed slightly as has his attitude, that coupled with his ability to lay some verbal and potentially physical smackdown on Escape makes him an even greater threat to the busters.

The Powered Custom transformation is actually pretty cool.
I kinda like that Enter played all his cards (so to speak) at once--it keeps the Busters on the defensive for while and gives things a chance to play out with a little more urgency . . . . . .er, but still with time for wackiness, if the next episode teaser is to be believed. They're not wasting so much time anymore. That's much improved, I think. |
Man, that was awesome. Wait, you say, that was the new Episode of Go-Busters!? Lies, I say! Go-Busters could never be this good!
Anyway, I always liked Enter before, he was definitely the high point of the show before Jin and J showed up, but man, I like him even more like this, as a completely serious villain. I enjoy the idea of the Metaroids trying to become stronger and become Messiah, it's pretty interesting. The Powered Custom was much better than I expected, and the powers were great. |
I like the metroid's design and all, but I can't get over how the circular things on his chest kinda looks like boobs. It keeps throwing me off and making me think it's suppose to be a female metaroid.
