S.H. Figuarts Tyranno Ranger Revealed
 

The long awaited, highly anticipated mighty morphin' S.H. Figuarts Red Ranger, AKA S.H. Figuarts Tyranno Ranger has finally been revealed(in color!)! Bluefin Tamashii Nations USA has posted the 1st image of it on their Facebook page. Rejoice, and onward to the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers 20th Anniversary! I'll echo myself and say that the thighs and shoulders are bothering me. Can't tell if the belt says anything or not though.

Am I crazy or are his gloves a little off to?

I will say most of the issues are due to the fact that its a prototype

They look like they should be smaller towards his wrists.

Nonetheless, even if this is indicative of what the final production figure will look like, I am still happy with this. I just hope the shoulders do not work like the Shinkenger Figuarts. Gokaiger style for me!

Shinkenger Figuarts have a pectoral joint but also a shoulder cover which hides the shoulder joint. Gokaiger Figuarts don't have said shoulder covers. The shoulder covers can break on the Shinkengers and/or get stuck. Kind of hard to explain you'd have to see it for yourself. Let's just say moving the arms on them is more tricky than it ought to be.

shinkenger figuarts ive heard have no bicept swivel do to their design so im worried

Welp, here I thought I was done, but I guess I'll start saving now.

AWESOME! I gotta start saving now if I want all 6 (7?!). I might just be spouting nonsense, but those look like new shoulders. They kinda look like improved shinkenger shoulders. They conceal the joint much better. Either way, CANT WAIT!

I think those are the Red Hawk shoulders. Which if it is would be great because that is the best figuart to date imo, well maybe second only to the Gokaigers.

Better than I expected, given the simple sentai designs tend to not translate to figuarts well. Thighs being all one color looks weird, but it's part of the suit so what are you going to do? Shoulders look to be shinken style, which is a big negative. Head looks a tad big and the belt doesn't look as detailed as I'd like, but those are issues that may be solved in the final version.

Absolutely glorious. Can't wait to own him :D

I am...a little underwhelmed really. That red can't be the best they could have used. Looks Faiz Blaster rubbery.

Yeah, there's actually things I don't. like already. :/ The wrist guards look waaaayy too thick. And the shoulders way look troublesome.

Still might be my first Sentai Figuart, but then I said that about GokaiSilver and still don't have him heh... But then this has a nastalgia factor. Let's see if that factor doesn't make me ignore its faults.

I like it. I think the reason some of you think the shoulders look off is because of the way he is posed. It also has to do with the white diamonds on the suit because the shoulder joint has to account for that to. They look no different than on ShinkenRed.

However, I hope they do more than TyrannoRanger since they all pretty much share the same bodies sans Ptera and Dragon.

I'm with Kain on this, I think the shoulders look weird because of the diamonds. Its hard to call how this figure looks until we see it in a static pose. I learnt this after seeing Gorisaki for the first time - those display shots of him were awful, but he looked fine as soon as the official Tamashii images went up.

Bah, they don't have flip heads and they aren't 4 inches and have zero paint apps on weapons . Shoulders be damned

Really looking forward to seeing more of this guy. Like the rest of his accessories. But so far, I am impressed.

Hoping they know if he comes with his sword he should be able to combine with the rest of the team, when/if they ever make them to. Cause I'll be honest. I'm looking more forward to them eventually making a Blue then I am for the Red.

I think it's important to state that this is merely a prototype/test-shot, and not a final version. I was under the impression that it was merely going to be a grey resin prototype but looks like they got one painted up in time for the show.

I can forgive it for being a protoype. I know it's not gonna be perfect. I'm still glad to see this thing exists. Now give me a list of the accessories and my fears will be alleviated.

There's only one thing they could add that could make this absolutely perfect to me- interchangeable unmasked heads. I would kill for something like that.

If the prices are reasonable for all the Mighty Morphin PR figuarts then I will buy them all without question. If not then I will at least get the Tyranno ranger to add to my Red Ranger collection.

Looks great! I will get all of these if they release them. I have never bought any Figuarts before, how much do they typically go for? $40- $50?
