NYCC12 - SH Figuarts Power Rangers
 

Here are a bunch of images from the S.H. Figuarts booth showing off numerous Power Rangers figures, in addition to Super Robot Chogokin Sentai figures. They come from New York Comic-Con 2012. Included are the following:

Now that I've seen his whole body the gloves make a little more sense now. He looks a little lanky, but I like him.

Interesting to see the Gokaiger Figuarts in display, sans the girls (who can't be released in the US, because they were exclusives). I wonder if that's any indication that they intend to bring them over.

There's going to be a long wait for them, if that is the case though, seeing as there's no Goseiger figures, except Gosei Knight, who they also can't release :eyebrow

SRC Daibouken looks BAD ASS! Itching to see more S.H. Figuarts Zyuranger too! I am hoping for at least Goldar and Zedd for enemies. Bandora I can do without. All she did was point and laugh really.

Black condor is ment to be a exclusive and blue fin realsed him so why not the girls of gokaiger and also why not the rest of the shinkengers as well

I see you using that trident stand on Daizyujin, Bluefin. Sneaky, sneaky.

The labels at the figures' feet read as followed:

"Currently only sold in Japan and Asia":

"For Display Only":

US releases (they either have nothing under the names or give release and prices):
Figuarts: Red Hawk, Black Condor, ShinkenRed, and ShinkenGold
SRC: Megazord (as the label reads).

Tyranno Ranger is looking great, as does DaiBouken. Very excited for both :D

Kinda lame that they are showing figures that are not allowed to be distributed in the US, but I guess the case would be boring if they only had 3 red rangers, a gold, and a black in there.

No worse than showing figures that may never be released anywhere, which they also do.

Got excited when I saw the Gokaigers and BoukenRed, though the "currently" bit of the description still gives me hope that they may be able to release them down the line.

It's Tamashii Nations booth. They do that. A lot. Master Asia is the best known one. In the case of NYCC, anything with the label "for dislpay only" has a chance of never seeing the release. While I'm sure most of these will get released somewhere eventually (Especially the red ranger. I have no doubt on that one), they do have normal hair Goku on display who has been in release limbo for a couple of years now.

Think that's just there in case BoA wants to do what they did with the Shinkenger Figuarts when they get to that series.

Maybe, but Boukenger and Dekaranger have already had their series' adapted. So those Red's might be a normal Bluefin release.

Both of those series have Gokaiger zord footage too. :cool:

Because they negotiated with Bandai to release Black Condor over here at the same time. He's still a limited release, all they've done is order a certain amount to sell over here. Blufin have said several times on Facebook and during interviews that they cannot go back and re-release exclusive figures like the other Shinkengers. They've managed to get Kaoru, but that's down to the fact they have extremely limited numbers and are only selling her at Comic Con, meaning it's probably just surplus stock that they couldn't sell in Japan (she was incredibly unpopular and is one of the cheapest exclusives to buy on the second hand market).

They'd need to go through Bandai to release them though. I think the only reason we're seeing the Zyuranger guys brought over, is because of the amount of nostalgia people have for MMPR. Unless they do incredibly well, I don't think they're going to bother with those older teams.

Kamen Rider X and Riderman were both shown back in 2009 and while they'll both probably be released eventually, we've been waiting a stupidly long time. There was also an SRC for Sun Vulcan Robo and more recently the Ghost Ship variant for Gokaioh, Shinken Gokaioh and Magidragon Gokaioh, which I highly doubt will ever see the light of day. The line isn't popular enough and the Gokaiger ship has sailed.

Gedou Shinken Red and the rest of the Super/Hyper modes probably won't be released either, due to the unpopularity of the repaints. Accel in bike form still hasn't been released either, not to mention the prototype Figuart for that mascot thing in Double (I can't find the picture, but I swear that's real :lol).
