Go-Busters DX LT-06 video review
 

Thanks to Youtube user Wotakufighter2121 and a heads up from Tokunation member RiderSkyward we have our very first look at the DX LT-06 Tategami Rai-Oh from Tokumei Sentai Gobuster! This figure is BIG, interesting, and looks like a lot of fun. For some it may not be worth the high price tag and to others this fine toy may seem like too little too late in the Gobuster DX line. However this figure looks to be a great addition to any Gobuster collection. This video review shows off the Rai-Oh in Robo, Lion, and Bike (with Gobuster Ace) modes but does not show off it's combining gimmicks with the other DX Buster machines.

Anyway...Looks pretty sweet to me, cannot wait for the minipla version. Other than that I think I need to save my pennies and get the DX mecha off mandrake, might skip Ace though and just go for the King combo.

Wow, that figure is massive, and very impressive. It reminds me of the difference between the White Tigerzord and the Red Dragonzord back in Dairanger.

I thought the figure would be rather stocky, but it actually looks pretty lean. The shoulders were surprisingly thin, but the whole thing looks great in proportion and shape. I can see how people might not like aspects of the overall shape, such as the thing waist and large thighs, but it reminds me of Beast Wars/Machines and I really dig the design.

I think it's going to cost a terrible penny, I might have to scour Mandarake in the future too. Does anyone know how much it will cost?

This things looks incredible. Even better than I originally thought it would. After the dissapointments of Gorilla, Rabbit, Stagm and Beet this looks like the redemption of the line.

As much as I hate to admit it, this video makes him look a lot better in RaiOh mode.
That said, I still hate the lion mode with a passion(why does the head detach, just to put a tire-sunflower mane in between the head and the neck?), and I certainly don't like him more than the rest of the line.

sweet mercy! he's almost Gigazord height! and he DOES combine with Ace in Vehicle mode! a sweet mercy! if I buy this I'm gonna finally buy DekaBreaks Mecha to have these guys with My Dekaranger robo Full Blast custom!

Whats the Yen cost on this guy?

Further proof the Go-Bust Mechs could all look that amazing if they really wanted them to. Lazy Bandai.

You... may want to wait to pass judgment sentai. He also posted a video of this thing combined with the other machines. It's..... not pretty. From the front it looks fine but the literal monkey butt and the thickness of him from a sideview is pretty bad. I still think it looks better than the combos which involve the Ace though.

Just got my item notification from HLJ and shipped it out today. Also it's a big item, so big shipping costs.. double ;A;

I do like the rounded lines to LT-06's various modes while every other mech in Go-Busters has hard, sharp lines.
I don't like how far the chest sticks out in combined modes, but heck, all of the Go-Buster combined modes have had this problem. Can't wait to have the stag beetle engine and rabbit propeller randomly popping off of the back of Great Go-Buster King

Doesn't bother me. All I have interest in is Ace and now Rai anyway.

Don't get me wrong I'm still buying this bad boy. But it does still suffer from some of the same design flaws the rest of this line did.

They do look amazing. They did want them too look amazing. Shut up.

I'm sort of torn on this guy... The combined mode IMO is a total mess (And not in the awesome G-12/Samurai Ha-Oh way), the stand alone robot is passable, the lion mode is alright, but the bike mode is beautiful.

I'll definitely have to do some serious thinking on whether or not I want this bad-boy.

I think he looks fine in combined mode because I'm not going to be viewing him as Gobuster King from the back. I'll definately be getting him though since he looks great in all his other modes.

He's entitled to his opinion. I also felt they didn't try very hard this season. I wouldn't go so far as saying they didn't want them to look good but they are far from amazing. The Ace and Rai-Oh are the 2 wonderful examples of where this line could have gone.

Same for me. I think just the concept of the Rai-Oh is brilliant but it looks great as a stand alone figure. I put the Rai-Oh in the same category as Gojyujin, it looks great as a solo mech but when combined thinks don't work out so well. That being said the Gobuster Rai-Oh and Gobuster King both look awesome from a front view. If the Stag and Beet hadn't been such dissapointing messes I would have kept them for that combo.

Ace and Ra-Oh are wonderful designs. I just wish they'd spent a little more time making a combination with Gorilla and Rabbit that looked less... Well, like it looks.

What Sentai said wasn't an opinion. It was a potentially false statement that the design team for Go-Busters didn't want the fruits of their labor to look amazing-which I think they do.

I fail to understand how you can like anything about Go-Buster King if you dislike Great Go-Buster, since they're pretty much the same thing but without all the coolness that Great Go-Buster had.

What coolness? The terribly stumpy upper body? The Raioh fills out that midsection much much better than the Ace. The Raioh is significantly larger and helps to stretch out the clustered up midsection. It fills out the proportions better than the Ace, that's pretty much all there is to it for me. That's why I like it better. From a sideview it's an even worse nightmare but at the front it looks pretty nice.

I like Great Go-Buster's "stumpy upper body". It makes him look dense and secure; the way a penultimate mecha should. King takes that stocky appearance I love and throws it out the window. And for what? A half mile wide gap between the arms and the chest. And Ace's sword. WHY? Oh. And I hate how the supposed "ultimate" combination lacks THE MAIN MECHA. I don't ask for much, but it can't be too much to ask for the first mecha to be a part of the final mode, right?

Again, Great Go-Buster's thick, armored appearance appeals more to me than the lanky Go-Buster King. Another thing with King, he puts WAY too much on the back, it's stupid. I'm fine with the rabbit guns on Oh. I'm even better with the epic death collar on Great. But having 1/4th of it's mass on it's back is just ridiculous.

And that's why I think RaiOh is the worst thing to happen to the Buster Machines line.
