Whatever happened to…the Decade movie we never got?
 

So I seem to remember there being a trailer at the end of Kamen Rider Decade.

The trailer if I remember correctly showed two Decades, and Natsuki in a military outfit holding a rifle. Also had the hilarious image of Narutaki trying to strangle Decade.

So….yeah, what happened to that Decade movie? Were the writers just trolling us? Because none of that happened in the Decade/W movie.

Script changes. However, the two Decades sequence was in the director's cut. It was a dream.

Its a shame, because that trailer gave me hope that Decade might actually have a satisfying ending.

I remember someone saying that parents got angry that Decade tried to force kids to go to another movie just to see the ending of the series, so they revised the ending to become the Rider War.
Anyway, it doesn't change that the script was changed to make the dumbest movie ever.

I don't know if we've ever gotten a clear explanation as to why the trailer and movie didn't match up. I'd love to know exactly what the hell happened there.

u know for non canon movies u guys really hate them for some reason, they dont matter! ignore them!

I always assumed the Movie Wars WERE canon...

(except War Core's OOO portion. Because War Core sucks).

Except Decade's movie was canon. It was the resolution to the series.

although i liked the whole decade series so i dont know wat im supposed to be pointing out

By revising everyone.
First: Remove Kenzaki/Blade (Who, after watching Blade, I'm positive would NEVER lead a crusade of the previous 10 Riders to kill Decade) and the previous 10 randomly showing up and trying to kill him.
Next: Remove Kuuga's random face heel turn (I don't care if it was prophesied at the beginning of the series. His actions through out the rest of it proved completely otherwise).
Then: Having Decade figure out a way to save the worlds without killing the other Riders.
Finally: Don't expect a feature length movie as a conclusion to fix all your glaring plot holes.

This is why Decade needed to be a complete 49-48 series.:(

I'm not gonna lie. Despite my hate for Decade, if it had gotten 20 more episodes for a full series, it may have been able to win me over Tsukasa and the series as a whole.

I don't recall ever seeing this, where was it shown? Maybe I saw it and forgot or suppressed it :lolol

I never thought that Kenzaki or Wataru acted ANYTHING like how they did or possibly could later on after their shows. I always assumed they were more alternate versions, and not the same ones from their shows.

Considering how Blade ended (Which I'm not spoiling), Kenzaki would never do something like that, which pisses me off because they pretty much told Tsukasa that they were the originals. :I

This is why Decade needed to stick with the 10 universes as they initially intended. The point of Decade was to celebrate the 10 series of Kamen Rider since its return. Adding in all of the Showa stuff just completely ruined it and made it an assnine twist. They rushed through the 10 universes too quickly instead of coming up with some development plot for each world.

I have to agree, the Heisei world stuff felt over before it even began and then a lot of the AU worlds afterward just felt like filler.
