Nowhere in that statement is anything even resembling a confirmation.
"We'll see how things go with what's already planned!" pretty much sounds like "Maybe if the Zyu figuarts sell we'll make a plea deal with Bandai...Maybe."

I'd definitely buy a Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa...probably not.

A lot of people prematurely getting their hopes up here.

Anyway Zedd I'd buy in a heartbeat, Rita would probably just be for completism since I can't see it turning out well.

The fact that they even acknowledged the demand let alone posted that on Facebook to gauge demand albeit informally says a lot.

They acknowledge the demand for a lot of things though. They updated their page with statuses gauging the demand for the Akibaranger figures, and they don't seem any closer to getting those out and they're actually in production.

This is good news, but I still think its far from any sort of confirmation.

Oh I totally agree there. I would think it needs to be done within this anniversary window if it has any chance of happening.

Now guys, while I have faith in Bluefin of informing Bandai of whats in demand in North America, isn't their a phrase about counting chickens before they hatch?

From a marketing standpoint, this is a big year for Bluefin, especially in gauging demographics and so forth.

Power Rangers is turning 20. That means they have RIGHT NOW, and a little into 2013, to make as big of a push as they can with anything and everything remotely Power Rangers related, and it may be the only time that we could get a Zedd figure (Rita was a villain in Zyuranger so that figure has a higher possibility).

If that means as a community we push what Bluefin is asking about, then let's do it. This isn't saying "I AM HANDING YOU $80 RIGHT NOW", this is asking what the actual liklihood is that you'll fork over some cash for a Zedd figure (or Rita figure) if they made it.

You know, thinking about it, I'm pretty sure if Rita/Bandora got a figure, she'd be a Figuart Zero...

I was going to say that same thing. Bandora would just work better as a Zero. In fact, even Puripurikan, Bokobak, and Totobat would work in either category. Grifforzer and Lami are the only ones that definitely need to be standard Figuarts.

There certainly wouldn't be much to articulate that's for sure.

Don't feel too bad, Sentai. He does that with me too. My guess is he wants us to be totally sure about things and that's why he doesn't want us to jump the gun.

But if we are really getting Zedd Figuarts, then that is sweet! As the first US original character, he most certainly earned his spot among the other characters with Figuarts

I would 100% buy Zedd! Rita... not so much. I havent seen a "human face" in the Figuart line that I have liked yet
