they're skipping Goseiger??

I saw this, honestly I'd rather them not skip Goseiger. I think there's a lot of potential for a good PR series in there.

Well it doesn't bother me too much if they do skip Goseiger. Though the concept of using Megaranger scripts did intrigue me, bring on some US Gokaiger!

I think this just means more Samurai. Everything seems to evidence that.

"Hey, we're not going to start production in 2011" ... uh, well that's good, since 2011 ends in less than two months.

Either way, I do think Goseiger will be skipped. There's absolutely nothing good that can come from Goseiger (anything that looks remotely like Dairanger = skip in the land of Power Rangers, haha).

20th Anniversary has to be the Gokaiger stuff ... anything less will be disappointing. But it sounds right ... Gokaiger will be over with by that time frame, and the props/sets/whatever should be available for Saban to use. Now, what do you call that series?

Me I'm just hoping some modicum of work is but into the US version of the Mobirate! Nothing would be quite as cool as putting in a MMPR key and hearing it scream "MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS!"

Definitely, the American morpher having Gokaiger-esque calls for the teams would make it an instant buy.

The little things in a Gokaiger adaption that would have my inner fanboy going crazy:

- Team call-outs in English, with the voice of Zordon
- Use of old theme songs for teams and in 6th Ranger cases ("Go Green Ranger", "White Ranger Tiger Power" and "Go Gold Ranger" ... I guess you could do the Silver Ranger one, but that was lame...)
- Cameos from past actors from all series (even if just one a series)
- A theme song by Ron Wasserman :)

If they do go straight to Gokaiger I hope they adapt the 199 movie somehow

I'm sure they'd use some footage ... but I don't know how they'd adapt a team-up with a series they might skip and explain 16 years worth of characters they never used/showed/etc.

I figured they will only use the footage of the sentai teams that were adapted to Power Rangers. But cameos from past rangers would be great to see.

I'm sure at the very least Rick Medina would do a cameo, which would be pretty fitting given GaoLion is one of the more prominent Gokai machines.

Let's not forget GaoLion also doubles as the Samurai add-on.

I'm pretty sure Rick will be back. I'm just wondering if they'll reference him being both Cole and Deker.

Apparently the rumors currently floating around from a Toei interview is that they are reshooting new Legend War scenes involving only Mighty Morphin and up to coincide with Power Rangers' 20th anniversary in the US.

I personally hope they DO skip Goseiger and go straight to Gokaiger. 1) I watched a bit of Goseiger and it just didn't appeal to me and I don't think it would appeal to kids as much either. 2) It just makes sense. Why not do a show on the anniversary of MMPR with a show that is all ABOUT previous teams? I only worry that Bandai America would really mess up the zords...but maybe not! Maybe removing the door-opening gimmick might make the toys better?

If that's the case, they'd better bust out some Phantom Ranger and Titanium Ranger. Otherwise? NOT OKAY.

That and some Spirit Ranger jungle Fury action

I have a feeling the US-excusive rangers will be off somewhere (with the "Extra" rangers no doubt) during the war.

Though....i would like to see Ranger Operator series Brown, White and Light Blue :P

I just don't see how Gokaiger will work for Power Rangers as much as I would like to see it. They would have to us A LOT of American footage or come up with a reason why they can turn into Rangers we never seen before.

Rumours popped up recently that Toei and Saban are planning to film new Sentai war footage that only uses the existing Power Ranger teams. Given how its for the 20th anniversary of the franchise, I can imagine Saban are prepared to put a lot of new footage into the adaptation.

While the Ranger War scenes will be more underwhelming since there'll be 20 years worth of characters missing, I still think that it'd be pretty neat.

I'm more interested in who'll return for cameos and guest appearances (Since, from what I read, the only actor who didn't enjoy/still hates their time as a ranger was Danny Slavin).
I also wonder how close the story will stick closer to Gokaiger's.

I hope so, that would be awesome! Toei hasn't done that in about 20 years come to think of it lol!

I'm so excited about the prospect of the new footage. It really lines up with Saban's announcement about how they were going to go above and beyond to improve their original concept for the next Rangers season in honor of the anniversary.

If they do skip a season and go straight to Gokaiger, they could always go backwards and do Goseiger right after.

Honestly, I'm looking forward more to Gokaiger than I ever was Gosei whatever. Headers? Seriously? Bring on Captain Jack Sparrazord!

My feelings certainly wouldn't be hurt if they skipped Goseiger, but they wouldn't necessarily be hurt if they didn't skip it either. maybe just a little lol.
