Go-Busters vs Gokaiger Filming Spotted?

In his tweet, he stated that Basco was up against the Sun Vulcan, presumably Captain Marvelous, Joe and Luka transformed. Also seen in the scene are GokaiPink and GokaiSilver. If this is indeed Go-Busters vs Gokaiger, it is expected to premiere by January 2013.

UPDATE: Unverified sources have also stated that Marvelous and Joe will become enemies, and there's a scene where Luka, Gai and Ahim transforms with Ryuji, and Yoko. Jyuden Sentai Kyoryuger will also appear and fight alongside their seniors until the end of the film.

I was actually wondering if they were going to have a vs movie or will Hero Taisen be it. It would be great if they have a vs movie.

I hope the rumours are true, I miss the Gokaigers and couldn't get into Gobusters (gave up after 10 episodes and another 5 after beet and stag were introduced. wonder what could turn Joe and Marvelous against each other though. Also mention of Basco is intriguing.

Good to see this is happening. Though I wasn't worried about Super Hero Taisen taking the spot of this unlike other members, since that seems to only happen with big anniversary Sentai x-overs(Gaoranger vs Super Sentai, Boukenger vs. Super Sentai, 199 Heroes).

Well, since Sentai x-overs usually occur at the very tail end of the series, it doesn't surprise me that we haven't heard anything about this until now.

Actually, I came up with that term. >_>

So, random question.
How in the hell would Gokaiger transform into anyone but Gokai?
Or did they pull a Decade and change the ending of that series too?

This is what I'm thinking. I was hoping that they wouldn't have the keys so the film could show how they've got by without them. I am expecting a Go-Busters change though since the sound is recorded and all.

It seriously lessens the impact of them returning the keys if they just get them back anyway...

my guess is that they found a way to pirate the powers :lol

or the time traveled and stole the chest from themselves

Well, if Basco is still alive, me thinks that this would then in theory take place before the end of Gokaiger, before Basco is dead. We saw Go-Busters take on Basco before, so this isn't really a big surprise.

For the SuperHero Taisen concerns, I think Marvelous could only change into the Sentai that were defeated at that point.

But if Basco's back, what's to say he didn't beat up the other Sentai, gained their Great Powers and that's how the Gokaiger got the keys again. All speculation lol

Vs. movies tend to serve as an epilogue to the previous series as well though. I'd be disappointed if they broke this trend.

I didn't think we'd ever get a Go-Busters Vs. Gokaiger movie; I had figured that the Super Hero War movie would be it. But hey, more Gokaiger is A-OK in my book! :)

I thought the same, glad to see that there is an actual VS movie coming out.

How is Basco being alive a problem?!

... He's freaking Basco!

I mean it's no different than any other VS movie where a host of previous villains come back to life for the movie and are then defeated.

Remember. Shinken V Goseiger it was Buredoran posing as the last seasons villian. So.. maybe it's Messiah posing as Basco, because he wants to feel like what it's like to be a popular villian.

For a sec, I thought you were talking about Brajira from Goseiger. That guy goes through so many different changes. :lol Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if it was him acting as Basco.

I for one would gladly take more films of Brajira wearing people's skin :D

Personally I hope this film has a Metaroid of Basco's trumpet, one that can summon rangers. And then the Megazord can in turn summon mecha.

What if Brajira becomes to Sentai what Shocker is to Kamen Rider? Every movie, there's Brajira!

It's just crazy enough to work! Brajira's the opposite and equal reaction to the Sentai Rangers. He wants to save Earth, they want to save Earth.

But Brajira's willing to destroy humanity to see his goals come to light. That makes him pretty much Super Sentai's Shocker.

I know right?! Sentai needs a unifying villian like Shocker for their movies, let it be Brajira!

Even you Gosei Haters have to admit he's one of the best characters to come out of that series.
