I can't wait for the SUBS but honestly they are not needed to enjoy this episode. I don't think I'll be jumping into GoBuster right away. This was my 1st Super sentai and i think after all this epicness I'll need a break. It gives me high hopes for a Power Rangers anniversary. They can redo the story and all as PR and SS are completely different they just dress the same. ;)

Really emotionally charged episode. I love it when things come full circle. I hope to see the lady (food stand owner) who married that one action commander again! :D So many great episodes this season!

Really sucked when we saw Mahalcon, MagiDragon, GaoLion, Fuuraimaru, and PatStriker get blasted by the Zangyack.

Probably one of the most epic Sentai/PR Robo fights ever. And gotta love the Zyuranger stuff. So awesome. I'm gonna miss this show :( Thankfully, Go-Busters looks pretty sweet.

I was initially confused as to why they didn't summon Ninjaman, but after seeing the carnage caused to Gaolion, Fuuraimaru and the like, it sorta makes sense lol.
Also, Geki Beasts. Didn't think I'd see that power ever again :lol

The rest of the episode was nice. It's always nice to see the people rallying and the cameos.

Yeah, total mayhem in this week's episode. And aside from the return appearance of past Super Sentai characters, it was great seeing people from previous episodes (the mother and her kids from episode 23, and the school kid from episode 2).

Such a great episode, and that Zyuranger scene was such a treat. I couldn't believe it when the episode ended, it went so fast.

Also, when Gai destroyed the Greatest Treasure in the Universe I thought shortly after "well now they have to go on a quest to gather the eight pieces of it" :lol

it went to year 3000

I loved this episode, the amazing use of the ultimate powers was just mindblowing, if I didn't know it I would have thought this was the last episode at first! Also I love how it stapled down what super sentai is to the people, a ray of hope that shouldn't be taken away from the people, the moment when Gai decides to destroy the ultimate treasure was indeed a beautiful one.

I'm really going to miss Gokaiger :< This is my third complete sentai series but it's the one that really made me into a super sentai fan, after this I'm going to attempt to watch all available past sentai! Now I hope they make a show of the last episode! (on a sidenote, really going to miss Ahim and Luka)

Just thinking about this episode gets me emotional!

When Gai transformed in to the Dragon Ranger, and then passed off the crest/powers to Marvelous, that was SO well done, I loudly said "OH YES!!".

I will miss you Gokaiger!

Brilliant episode, was great to see some of the lesser used powers (along with some new ones) return with some of the cast members from earlier episodes.

This series is really going to go out with a bang, can't believe the end is so close :(

I agree, I didn't expect to see Gai do that, I mean I knew it was gonna happen somehow, but the way Gai did it was just awesome.

I think we all can agree that Gobusters has some pretty damned big shoes to fill.

Wow...the beginning where they used all of the Ultimate Powers one after another like that?

That was by far the best mecha fight scene the entire series.

I was totally blown away by this episode. The mech battle wasn't boring (a first, because the last 20 or so episodes have had some boring MegaZord battles), and seeing each Gokaiger realize what they're fighting for was so awesome.

Seeing the kid beat down some Gormin was awesome.

Having Marvelous give the weight of the entire universe on Gai with the Greatest Treasure in the Universe ... that was heavy but so appropriate - Gai is an Earthling (something I think the show didn't really touch on after he joined the crew), but the fact that Marvelous said they wanted to beat the Zangyack on their own but it was Gai, an Earthling whose home is at risk, his decision ... ? The tears as he destroyed the GTU ... so well done.

The Zyuranger bit was awesome ... absolutely loved it. I'm going to freakin' miss this show so much.

ok, it was a tear jerker for me, this is my 5th sentai that ive completely loved, and the 8th show overall that ive seen. NEVER HAVE I CRIED AT SUCH AN AMAZING EPISODE.

The fight seen with gozyujin and gokaioh using the greater powers of the megaranger. maskman and jetman was FANTASTIC. The final scene with Armed tyrannoranger was awesome as well, The team really came together and kicked zangyacks ass in the past 3 episodes. Do not want this show to end but it must.

Also was completely shocked when gai destroyed the triforce err i mean the greatest treasure in the universe..... AND OMG MAGIREDS CRUSH!!!!!!! SHE IS SO CUTE!!!!! also amachi showing up was ok.... not a fan of him at all, but goushi was perfect


All in all, im gonna miss this show like i said, this show was amazing.

I was blown away by this episode. THIS was how Sentai should be. I am going to put this down as one of the BEST damn episodes of ANY toku EVER. ....

Man, what's there to say that hasn't already been said. This episode was simply plain amazing, with an exciting mecha battle and great guest spots. My personal favorite bit was when Gai was given the choice of deciding the fate of Super Sentai and of his Earth. It was so appropriate, symbolic...and in a way, heart-warming.

So I'm gonna preface this post by saying I LOVED the episode. The Mecha fight at the start was PHENOMINAL and I LOVE that MegaRangers grand power is SO SEXY!

But was I the only one would couldn't HELP but compare it to "Countdown to Destruction"? The enormous fleet attacking, the Starting in Mecha and going down to ground, the 24 hour wait, the nighttime planning of the rangers and deciding how to proceed, the civilians getting ready to be executed before the ranger s transform, and even the preview showing Red going up to the command ship It really got me though the "crowd" of people was too dang small! I kept saying "not enough extras!" at the TV.

I don't know. I LOVED the episode, but (with the exception of the Zord fight) it seemed a pale imitation of what it reminded me of.

Now that you've mentioned it, you're right; it does feel a lot like Countdown to Destruction. I still got the illusion of city-wide chaos though from the scenes of the civilians helping each other out. For the smaller crowd, the battle was better paced, and the action more frantic. For one, in Countdown to Destruction, I felt that once Astronema halted the assault, it started dragging a bit. Here, it was so fantastically paced that I screamed "WHAT?!?" at the TV after the end credits popped up.

So, I don't think it's really fair to say it's a "pale imitation". As to which series did it better, that's debatable, but we take what we like. :)

I'm sorry but to say that Sentai is a "pale imitation" of any PR is just ironic to say the least. This episode was amazing. It wasn't meant to be just like Countdown. Anyway...

Another thing I loved is how that one monster, I forget his name, said "How did you get so strong" I loved it.

Oh I doubt it was MEANT to be, but they hit a lot of the same story points and pacing. But your right "Pale imitation" may be a bit too harsh, but thats always the issue with C2D, it was the culmination of 6 seasons, Sentai will almost never be more than the culmination of 1. but again it sounds like I'm harsh on Gokaiger, I don't mean to be I DID love this episode!
