SH Figuarts Wizard Flame, Water Styles Revealed
 

The newest issue of FigurOh Magazine has given us our first official look at Kamen Rider Wizards' Figuart forms!

Of particular interest, the story reveals that Flame Style will be mass release in February 2013 for 3500 Yen while Water Style will be a Tamashii web exclusive due for release in March. Preorders for the item will open 2nd November, priced at 3675 yen.

Oh dear, we're getting onto the web exclusives early this season.

One of a main Rider's primary forms is an exclusive? Oh boy... This does not bode well.

And the coat parts... Oh the coat parts. While probably going to help him look really cool, I can only imagine them bulking up the box sizes quite a bit and being a nuisance to swap out.

I will second this. It would have been much cooler to see the red look like the eyes of every rider SHF. Still gonna get flame style. The water style being a web exclusive doesn't bother me so much, but it sucks for any completists on here. I assume the reason for this being a web exclusive is due to Elek , fire and magnet states Fourze being underwhelming in sales. I could be wrong!

Man....I hope Hurricane Style doesn't end up exclusive also. I might get all 4 forms. For now it'll just be Flame and Hurricane.(as soon as they make one)

Looks pretty good though. :D Looks like I can't wait for Flame Style now! ;)

Alternate Rider forms must not do so well sale wise, I mean you can find Fourze's and OOO's alternate forms pretty cheaply on Mandrake.

Eh, i consider Wizards forms to be the same as Fourze using his various no states switches, so Im not too surprised that the others will probably be exclusive. Sucks for completists though.

Gotta say that the photos aren't really doing a lot for me, looks too dull and not jewel like enough...

Sure, Fourze gets all of his crappy forms at retail, but the one Rider I actually want to collect forms of is only going to have one non-web exclusive...well f**k you too Bandai.



...and I'll probably still get Flame just because. Just don't want another red figure on my shelf.

GORGEOUS! They did the coat tails very well, glad they didn't take the route they did with Sky High. So, this is the first time I'll be preordering any rider figuarts, can anybody recommend any good stores that ship to the United States? I was just thinking of sticking to BBTS since I've had good experiences with them in the past (you know, before they hike the price on this thing up).

I've never ordered any kind of stuff like this before, but I really want the Water form.

In the first picture we saw of of Flame Style, it looked translucent, so I'm assuming it's just these pictures. Also, the heads on both look way too big. On the subject of Water Style being exculsive, not surprising, with Wizard having significantly more forms than the last couple Riders.

I kept thinking there was something slightly cartoonish about them, and I think you've just pointed out why.

Well, given how some OOO and Fourze forms warmed the shelves, I'm not too surprised at Water Style being exclusive. Then we have the Dragon forms and Beast is coming, so that'd be 12 Figuarts on the shelves, 4 looking similar to another 4.

Yeah you had to figure on some being exclusive... but I wasn't expecting any of the main four! At least it will likely be plentiful on mandarake. I wonder if the red Dragon Form will be standard, at least.

Water Style is one TWE I will definitely shell out for... eventually. :lol

Seems fine to me. The head and outer chest jewels look translucent, and anything else being translucent would make the pieces too fragile and show inaccurate. What's your problem exactly?

Oh come on. They are making Water style an exclusive? So much for being able to do my lantern battery bits.

It wouldn't have taken much. They did something similar with Gosei Knight's visor, and Meteor's chest flair. They just look.. fake. For lack of a better word.

It might be you're looking at Flame Style, who I didn't bother to look at when I clicked on the page, since Water Style is so much cooler, and pretty clearly has translucent plastic. All this leads me to believe that Flame Style's pictures were just taken at odd angles. I'm sure he has translucent plastic just like Water.

The proportions look rather off to me. Moreso than the Gobusters, at least. Still, no way am I passing up Flame Style. Bummer about TWE status for the rest.

What's the big deal that Water is exclusive? It's only like 200 yen more expensive, and you know you'll be able to get a few on Mandarake.

Both pictures make the red and blue look solid plastic, instead of translucent.

Most places will sell flame cheaper than that though. And its 200 yen PLUS middleman fees/shipping more expensive. Yes Mandarake will get some in, but its still a bummer to people planning to get all four.

I don't understand how you can't tell Water has translucent plastic. It's most obvious with the chest jewels. The way they bend the light screams translucent.

I think this attachment that was just added to the first post should clear up the concern for the clear bits of the armor.

In other news, this looks more awesome in every single picture I see it in. The head is a bit big, but they did that with Fourze too, probably just an artistic choice sort of like how the Kabuto figures were pretty skinny. Preorder, please! :lol
