SH Figuarts Wizard Land, Hurricane Styles Revealed
2 Attachment(s)
New magazine scans have given us our first look at Wizards' other forms- Land & Hurricane!
Land will be a Web Exclusive release in April 2013 at a cost of 3675 Yen Hurricane is also marked as Web Exclusive and will probably have a similar price point but full details are not yet confirmed. |
Well, I guess that means Dragon Flame style is going to be the next mass release figure. Sucks for those who wanted to get all four elemental forms relatively cheap.
Again with the exclusives. Not that it'll stop me from buying them, probally. Just damn.
I could see them being worth it if they had effect parts for each style. But alone, they look great but really aren't worth the extra cash. I feel bad for the guys here that want all the forms. It's a raw deal
I'll be perfectly happy buying only Flame and Hurricane.
I only ever wanted his main form anyway. So these being exclusive doesn't bug me. I've never thought his other forms were all that interesting anyway.
Kamen Rider.. Rock Lee! Leaf Hurricane! Sorry, I've been holding that in for a long time now. I'm better now!
Yep, this is a shame. :/ I fully expected Dragon Styles to be exclusives like Kuuga's Rising Forms... but it seems they now accept alternate forms just don't sell too well.
Granted I was never going to buy more than his final form and maybe Flame Style, but still I'm not excited for those completionists out there. But hey at least they're still looking good. |
I can see these knocking about on Mandarake for 3000 yen or less eventually. Not as good as retail prices but not horrible.
Green is my favorite so far. |
If I see someone complain about these not having translucent plastic, I will personally go to their common place of residence, and tape the product pictures for Hurricane and Earth to the back of their eyelids(okay I admit, it won't be that extreme >.>). Hurricane in particular obviously has a translucent face and chest gems. Happy?
Again with the weird looking heads. Hopefully the figures look better in person than in print. Oh well. More $$ saved if I'm just getting Flame Style.
I might have bought Land if he was regular release but I can live without him. I really only need Flame Style anyway.
You know, it is one thing to have specialty characters and things as exclusives, but the freaking main forms the main character uses? WTF?!
The heads being a bit big worked for Flame and Water, but on air especially it just looks ridiculous. Detail-wise, however, they all look amazing.
Looks like I'll only be getting the special forms and Wizard's main form.

My guess is that since the only difference between Beasts forms is the cape color that he'll come with all 4 of them in 1 box. I think he'll be retail, just at a higher price since he'll more than likely include the capes. It'd be ludicrous for all 4 forms to come out as their own releases.
Does the head look a little too big to you guys?
No... I'm seeing it too. On all four of them. :/

Secondly, wasn't the point of doing multiple forms for Wizard TO sell toys? You can't exactly sell toys that aren't available. BTW, something looks odd on Hurricane FOrm, which sucks, because that is my favorite Form. |

Secondly, Bandai is making the toys available, to the Japanese residence, whom these toys are targeted towards. You have to keep in mind that when an item is a Tamashii Web Exclusive in Japan, it's not terrible thing. When BlueFin finally brings the figures over to the US, then that's where they target the US fans, if the fans speaks loud enough, I'm sure BlueFin will make them available here as mass release items. |
... Heavily discounted you say...
