Overtime subs labeled Go-Buster King as Go-Buster Oh XD

Waiting for the SD, which I won't see until tomorrow. |
God overtime are such morons. Translating Oh in the first place when the show started was pointless enough. This is such a facepalm moment. Aside from that the episode itself was good.

Are you kidding me Den-O? You are blaming Overtime for not being able to see 6 months into the future. You do know not everyone has a time traveling train, right? This is why I didn't vote for you. :p |
No I'm blaming them for needlessly translating the suffix of Oh in the GobusterOh's name which has now led to the dumbassery of them reverse translating King back to oh. I'm sorry but this is the point of over translation.

I guess even being picky is being sensible then yes :)

Look im not trying to turn this thread into another OT vs TVN kind of thing. But them deciding to do that translation for Oh in the beginning has obviously come back to bite them. Translating things like that, especially names, is just pointless. It brings into question how they'd translate other things based on that logic.

Oh well, I suppose this gives me a proper reason to work out the intricacies of Aegissub and mkvmerge and learn to change it myself. EDIT: Okay, that was ridiculously easy to do. Took me just over half hour to change all the "kings" to "ohs" on every episode. No more sub complaining from me :p http://i.imgur.com/CdAfC.png |
Easily one of the most fun episodes i have seen yet! very enjoyable. I loved the wrestling references in the subs. More Megazord death matches!!! can this be a new troupe?

So anyways, is may be my favorite one shot episode of the show. At least since the retooling started. I'm so happy to see Ace still being awesome this far into the show. I also love the scale of this. There's nothing like seeing humans and mechas in the same shot to give it all a sense of scale. It helpped that this episode was about 90% action.

Yeah this was a fantastic episode, it had just the right amount of seriousness as opposed to being utterly ridiculous, and a whole lot of action. Ace's badassery made up for the somewhat underwhelming debut of Go-Buster King (whose backpack looks even sillier in the show), but that feels like a very minor complaint in what was otherwise one of this series' strongest episodes.

A surprisingly serious episode. You no shit gets real when both a mecha and a senshi are damaged and bloody. Go-Buster King was pretty cool, way better than the toy will ever be(I'm also completely fine with Over-time calling him Go-Buster Oh). I'm disappointed it took everyone so long to figure out that the stadium was the metaroid, though it was pretty funny how he commentated on the fight even after he was discovered. :lol

It was a really great episode overall, loved the Gobuster King, loved Ace holding it's own. But I really can't stand wrestling in general so that didn't do anything for me.
|
Seeing the ring gave me Geki Violet flashbacks which is a good thing.

Y'know, this episode kinda makes me wish we had a Toku show that was strictly mecha-fights. Cause this episode was really cool.
|
Finally got around to watching this episode. I really enjoyed it because it played to Go-Busters' strong suite, the mecha battles.

Derp--put this in the wrong place.
