Power Rangers - Your Favorite Power Rangers Moment?
 

If you're like me, you've probably seen every episode of Power Rangers (with the exception of Operation Overdrive, ha!). With hundreds upon hundreds of episodes, and over one hundred different characters each with their own storylines and moments to shine, what was your penultimate Power Rangers moment?

Speaking from my childhood, the White Ranger introduction/reveal was probably the moment that had the biggest impact on me so I'll stick with that.

Biggest moment for me? The scenes where the old Command Center was destroyed, the rangers fell down the cavern, and discovered the new Command Center. It was incredibly powerful stuff for me.

But that moment is tied with the final battle of In Space. I love love LOVE team-ups. So seeing rangers from other shows fighting all across the galaxy while the Space Rangers fought as well was awesome.

The first movie. I remember when that came out I was really excited, and then saw it and was even more excited. Yes the CG for the Zord battle was lackluster, but it was 1996. What the hell do you want.

The biggest moment that stands out for me was the season premiere of season 2 in prime time. The debut of Lord Zedd! I can remember very vividly me in my living room with my Mom , sitting on the couch and looking at him for the first time , then looking at my Mom and saying how are the Power Rangers going to beat him? He was scary as hell!!! They went from a whining space witch that was basically a joke to a guy with no skin>? The fact that all of this was being shown when it's dark outside in a dark room kinda helped make him look more intimidating.

I know he went to become a joke , but early Lord Zedd took Power Rangers to a whole other level for me as a kid.

I'm just going to bring this up simply because it probably won't. In Samurai, when Bulk grabbed a hand full of gum balls and took the MMPR morphing pose while saying "It's chewin' time!" Probably one of the best moments in Samurai.

I'm going with nostalgia on this one:

#1. The revelation of the White Ranger's identity. I remember being really excited to find out who it would be: Zack's cousin? That dude from the juice bar? I was glued to the tv the afternoon they finally revealed it. The fact that it was Tommy made me so damn happy.

#2. The original return of Tommy as the Green Ranger. I was kind of a huge Tommy fan back in the day.

Yeah the biggest moment for me is when Tommy walked in the Juice Bar and then he goes "Where is everybody" then Go Green Ranger Go Go! That was an epic return man!

And on that note Tommy's first appearance counts too. :rock:

Childhood memories are a little fuzzy, but I remember rather clearly when the Rangers first morphed in the Movie.

After some re-watching, my unquestionably favorite moment is Forever Red's morphing sequence, which remains the best morphing sequence in the show yet. Even the one in Once a Ranger failed to hold an epic candle to that in my opinion.

Probably say, and I don't remember the episodes name....but Season 2, Goldar captures everyone but Jason with candles of thier own, everything from Jason morphing to saving the day.....probably my favorite moment, and it was RIGHT before everything went to crap for a short time on the show....

Three moments stand out for me.

1) Tommy returning in "Return of an Old Friend" ... he was my favorite Power Ranger (like 99.9% of us) and having him return was awesome.
2) Tommy returning as the White Ranger in "White Light Part 2". I was beyond excited as I had lost interest in the show after "Green No More".
3) Jason being revealed as the replacement Gold Ranger in "A Golden Homecoming". He was my second favorite behind Tommy, and having them on the same team again had me clapping like a seal.

tommys return as white ranger was great, loved the creation of the phycho rangers, and zordons sacrifice/death was good too but really feel that his death should have been at the hands of an OG ranger

Since i was born around turbo/space and started watching as a kid near end of wild force, i would have to say my favorite is the little recap of previous series in Dino Thunder, then Tommy returning as the black ranger in the next episode :D

hmmm...top 2 both involve the original Green Ranger...either him INSIDE the Megazord taking out the rangers...or when he was Giant Sized, just having that laugh and beating the high holy hell out of the Zord...

That or the death of the Pink Ranger in Lost Galaxy...just the fact they DID that was like "ok...didn't see that coming"

The final battle of time force and Bulk's "It's chewin time" in Super Samurai.

The Finale of Mystic Force. This is just my opinion but it was the absolute best finale to any of the Disney seasons, and I think MMPR period. It was heartfelt, the ending where everyone gathers around to remind them of their magic made me almost tear up. It was perfect.

I got to agree with ComicGuy. Forever Red was epic, and shall never be beaten as a crossover. Not even by Gokaiger.

Forever Red... come on. The enemies were rehashes of suits from Beetleborgs, and Cole beat goddamn Serpentara with his motorcycle! ... Weak sauce.

I'm not sure what my favourite moment is, but I was just watching some clips the other day, & for as much crap as this show gets, this scene was pretty good:

No zords, but every red... It more than makes up for it. Plus, you can't say that you didn't enjoy the morphing sequences

The rest I'll agree with, but this is never a bad thing.

There was nothing redeemable about Forever Red. Including them deciding Quantam somehow counted as a Red Ranger.

At least there wasn't a White Ranger in there :p

Well.... Quantum was Red! Why the hell not. The biggest problem was the lack of Rocky in his ninja ranger suit.

That've both been cool and pissed me off. And Zeo, he'd have missed out on seeing Zeo V back in action.

PS If leadership is the problem, Quantum was more a leader than Alien Red or Rocky.

The Quantum Ranger checked both of them. If you wanted team leaders, then you could argue against him (And Aurico wouldn't have been included since the White Alien Ranger was their leader).

I never said all of Forever Red Was awesome. Just the morphing sequence.

One of my favs is duing the power ranhers time force ep when wes busts his helmet and his dad see his face before he runs headlong into a sea on foot soilders duing the end of the first part of the finally.

Probably Forever Red. Seeing that when I was seven just blew my mind. Seeing all of the red rangers (of course I was confused about the Red Aquetian Ranger and TJ being Turbo Red), seeing the Beetleborgs which I loved as a kid, it just blew my mind and made me mark out. Even today when I watch it, I still have those mark out moments.

Jayden vs. Deker, it's basically to red rangers fighting to the death. How awesome is that?
