Gosei knight is he classed as Other senshi or a 6th ranger
 

well i got this poll from an other thread and i thought the forum should decide it. due to my new found love of goseiger and i love the show it my fav sentai now. any way on to the question. Is Gosei Knight a Other Senshi or a 6th Ranger?

if he wasnt a 6th ranger he wouldnt be on gokai silver gold mode

6th. If you count GoseiGreen as the Goseiger's 6th Ranger, don't. It's just Sen-Chan cosplaying as GoseiBlue, but forgot to take his yellow clothes out of the laundry.

If he were a ranger he'd be in spandex, I don't care what Gokai Silver Gold Mode says.

Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters say hi. And the suit technically is spandex, just with more armor bits.

And Goranger-Goggle V. Though they didn't have 6th senshi(unless you count Big One, which I do).

Yup. According to Gokaiger he's a 6th. The rules I've always followed for 6th's and Extra Heroes are the ones set by Boukenger in their special trivia videos and the precedents set in Gokaiger.

And then there's Abaranger and Go-Onger. Abarekiller is the 5th Abaranger and Go-On Gold and Silver break the mold with 7 members. I just call them "Special Rangers", like when you put any "6th Ranger" Key into the GokaiGalleon Buster it will say SPECIAL CHARGE!

There are no set rules to what makes a Special Ranger, whatever Toei/Bandai is feeling is gonna go. Because then what the hell is going on with Gekiranger and Go-Busters? LOL!

I know what Gokaiger counts him as. I never said Gokaiger was wrong to count him as. What I said was I, as in me personally, I count him as one. In my mind. Alone, apparently. Honestly not seeing the big hubbaloo.

I am going with 6th on this one because he is the 6th hero and his mecha combines with the main one like 6th senshis do

Other. He fits in more with the likes of Zubaan, Signalman, and BullBlack.

Gokaiger aside, Others are usually not counted in the roll call.

6th Rangers have a sort of different connection to their corresponding Super Sentai team than Other senshi. I can't explain it, but I feel Gosei Knight qualifies as a 6th Ranger more than an Other.

I've always considered Hyuga one as well. He doesn't fit the Signalman, Zuuban, Dekamaster type to me.

Sixth. He looks more like an extra hero, but Gokaiger made it pretty clear the franchise considers him a sixth.
