Gobuster VS. Gokaiger The Movie Scans - Phantom Ranger Keys
 

Thanks to Jefusion we've gotten our first look at magazine scans for Gobuster Vs. Gokaiger The Movie!

These scans show the rumored Phantom Ranger Keys, which appear to be standard ranger keys cast in translucent plastic. Also shown is the standard/awesome scene we always get with team-up movies of the 2 sentai teams running from explosions together. We also get some shots of the various villains of the film including Enter, Escape, a revived Damaras and Basco and the new villain Bachhus Gil!

How can the Gokaigers still be able to Gokai Change when they gave the keys back at the end of Gokaiger?

Perhaps the Phantom Keys give them access to all of the past sentai powers?

I like that theory. New experimental keys that infuse them with the powers of all the rangers on command, instead of having to insert keys for each one. My only working theory was the Gokai's were just that awesome :lol

well maybe the phantome keys a pirated copys of the 34 sentais powers

In the previous movies the Gokaigers were able to change, I think that as long as the person is not using the power, it's accessible by the belt.

I think about this and for some reason I hear Parappa the Rappa yelling "You Gotta Believe! Gingaman!"

That's a cop out of a story telling device if I've ever seen one.
It also lessens Gokaiger's ending in doing so.

Well, then that would kind of kill off the Gokaiger's gimmick no? how can they keep bringing the guys back without their form changing capabilities?

That's precisely what they should do.

Why? There's no point to their gimmick then. I could give a damn how halfassedly they explain it, I love Gokaiger and I love seeing them change into other teams. As long as they do it, the convoluted way they get their powers back doesn't matter to me.

Eliminate Gokaiger's gimmick. God forbid they actually develop their own fighting style beyond "Toss Luka and Joe the swords, and Ahim and Don the guns."
Why end the series with them relinquishing the ranger keys in the first place then? They should've just flipped off Akaranger and kept the damn keys then.

I'm in agreement that if the Gokaigers suddenly have the keys back again it lessens the impact of the series ending, but since this film seems to be dealing with Phantom keys and copies I'll hold out that there's an appeasing explanation for it all. The vs. movies have gotten reasonably good at tying loose ends together.

Apparently would be the keys to the 37th sentai, of a person after the keys have a dino on the torso. The only likely explanation for this is Phantom key is that its keys will be transparent to the Kyoryuger landed in the film. Well have heard will set bienot view that would soon unveil kyoryuger .

I understand what you are on about Akared became Red Sentai without Keys so maybe the other Sentai alowed them use of their keys without them loosing their powers. In Taisen Marvelouse Gokai Changed a lot

Because they are finally part of Super Sentai, so it was right to release all the power back to the original owners, but, they are still pirates after all, so they probably pirated the powers, so they can continue to use the ranger keys, it's not like the rest of the Super Sentai got their powers back and suddenly all went back to fighting monsters, how does that make sense? you have over 199 members, but only the current generation is fighting the monsters, and the old guys don't show up until it's time for a movie? It's not suppose to make sense.

If you want them to continue having the powers to change into other Sentai, that's fine.
Just don't end the damn series with them giving up their ability to do so :I

Aren't the "Super Sentai VS Super Sentai" movies supposed to be non-canon anyhow? Go back through all of these movies and you'll see things that shouldn't happen...hell, just about every Super Sentai team looses their powers at the end of their series when their henshin devices get destroyed or become useless...when all of a sudden, bam! The teams find the ability was "within" the entire time and are able to henshin. So, all this nonsense about the Gokaigers not being able to use the other powers is kind of a moot point...

Its debatable, but I can't think of any that are definitely considered not canon. Goseiger vs. Shinkenger most certainly is canon.

Just let the Gokaigers be the Gokaigers. It would be a really cool premise if the Gokaigers had to fight on their own without the powers of the past Sentai. It would at least make the playing field even ( If Gobusters fought the Gokaiger the gokaiger's in their prime with their gokai change, we all know they would get their asses handed to them and thensome.)

I think it's kinda a neat idea to have god keys that let them turn into anyone of their color. That's all really...

Suddenly I can imagine Don sitting at a computer, extracting the ranger.exe files from the Ranger Keys. :lol
