Kyoryuger Info Update: Kyoryujin, GabuRevolver, Beast Batteries!
 

Thanks to some info provided by Rising Sun Tokusatsu we've got a better idea of what to expect from Jyuuden Sentai Kyoryuger! Here's all of the information known about the series up til now:

- Kyoryuger begins airing February 17th, 2013
- 5 rangers to start. Colors being red, blue, pink, black and green
- Only pink is female
- Henshin items are the Beast Batteries which are used with the GabuRevolver to change
- Beast Batteries contain Dinosaur Soul which charges weapons, allows henshin etc
- Any actions involving the batteries will be accompanied by samba like tunes
- Each Kyoryuger has a dinosaur partner, rumors say that it will be similar to the Engines from Go-Onger and Buddyroids from Gobuster.
- Partner names are: Gabutyra (red T-Rex), Parasagan (black parasaur), Stegochi (blue stegosaurrus), Zactor (green velcoiraptor), and Torikera (pink triceratops)
- Gabutyra, Stegochi, and Torikera form the main mecha Kyoryujin!
- Voice actor for the Kyoryujin is Chiba Shigeru. A voice actor is needed because in show the robo itself will feature a talking gimmick based on the batteries used in conjuction with it. The DX Kyoryujin and accompanying mecha will also feature this
- Train motif still HEAVILY speculated for the mecha

Also attached to this article is the new proposed casting rumors for the 5 Kyoryugers. Which is a completely different list from the initial 3-person team we were rumored to get. Stay tuned with Tokunation as further updates become available.

February 17th huh? So that's how many episodes of Go-Busters left?

Please, oh please don't let the electronic gimmick ruin the toy's transformation. On the other hand, I do love electronics in my DX mecha, it's been quite a white since we've got them.

So a 3 zord Mech at first?

And is it just me or does the guy rumored for Green look a lot like Ankh?

In case people don't know this, Chiba Shigeru voiced the man himself Kuwabara on YuYu Hakusho :D

Oh let me add another qualifier, I meant DX main mecha with electronics. :D The last one was Go-onger as far as I can tell, and that didn't even have integrated electronics. So the last proper one is actually Gekiranger.

I hate electronics in my mecha...
Anyway, I really hope Parasagan and Zactor (Btw, did Saban have any input on these names? Because it sounds like something out of Power Rangers :lol) get to do something...

they probably will be temporary upgrades until black and green get their orange mech.

... Samba? Really? What is it with Toei recently and musical changes. I'm still not a big fan of Faiz but I wouldn't mind a simple Standin' By before they slap in the battery and change. Still though I'm excited for this. I already have designs in my head for what the trains might look like. And the suits look really good.

I could almost care less what the trains look like. This Sentai is like a Den-O 2.0 with dinosaurs. I'm going to lose my mind and all my money simultaneously!

Found out the Parasaur and Raptor mechas are gonna be interchangeable parts/limbs,like Gaoranger.

If they're interchangeable, they'd better go somewhere like on Daibouken. If this becomes another Gokaiger with something as cool as trains, I will be very upset.

Let's hope. But unlike Gokaiger I can't imagine one of the traisn being as useless as the Racer. Or Semi-Truck, or Submarine... or Jet.

Edit: And unlike Gokaiger the Sixth/Other had better combine more than just the damn arms.

Considering Gokaiger's mech had nothing to do with the theme outside the Galleon, it couldn't get much worse.

Oh! It's directed by Sakamoto (RPM, W Forever) & written by Riku Sanjo (Kamen Rider W). I think I might love this!

Samba? Between this and Beast's matador visual design I think someone at Toei had a South American vacation in the past year.

I'm liking everything so far. I loved Go-Onger. And Green's Dino is Velociraptor? I'm sold. The only thing I wish for now is clearer photos.

All the other things you guys mention wanting would just be icing on the cake for me.

I just re-read my the article i found on jefusion and they werent kidding with the more lighthearted vibe.The Kyoryujin is gonna have a voice?! And it's voiced by the same actor who did Buggy from one piece and yuyu hakusho's kuwabara.

Not really sure how I feel about the mecha having 2 components that are just interchangeable parts, but depends how it actually looks I guess. Really excited to see these Dino partners though.

I am guessing they will load the Jyudenchis Go-onger style and fire away to save the day.

Me too! I remember the artist did something similar for Go-busters or Gokaiger. Does anyone have a link to one of his earlier drawings?
