Power Rangers Megaforce "Lion Mechazord" Appearing In Stores
2 Attachment(s)
The (assumed) final piece of Megaforce Wave 1 is now available!
The Lion Mechazord- featuring a miniaturized Robo Knight- combines with the previously released Sea & Sky Cycles to form the "Gosei Grand Megazord" and then with previous Mechazords to form the powerful "Gosei Great Grand Megazord!" With congratulations to collector RedRanger87 for finding the Lion Mech! |
What cards does it come with?

So the series isnt even out yet and all the megazords are released save one? Guess theyre doing that so they can release the gokaiger ones too,but isnt that season 2?
Guess the one pic also answers the question of if the wheels come of the bikes for the arms or not.Wonder if they're hollow due to that. |
Lion Mechazord? :eyebrow
|
This stuff needs to hurry its way to this side of the pond =D
|
"Gosei Great Grand Megazord, huh?"
…Doesn't quite have the same ring as "Super Megaforce Megazord." |
what price point? doesn't look like a megazord box size...more like that samurai tiger drill tank.

I'm going to assume this was at TRU?
|
That's the most hamfisted attempt at a tank mode I've ever seen.
But it looks really neat. Is this going to be at the Tiger Tank pricepoint? Seems like that would be a little pricey for something this size. |
It is at the same price point as the Tiger Tank. A few of them were on TRU.com a week ago, before they went on backorder. Redranger87, Linear Ranger and a few oths got the order in in time. I put one in, but by the time it processed, it was on backorder. It hasn't showed up in stores, yet, though.

It's really interesting how they managed to split up Gosei Grand into the three components and sell them all separately with individual play modes. Still, it's pretty cool that this looks mostly unchanged from Groundion in terms of functionality.
|
Guess they decided not to call it Gosei Ground. Grand makes sense in Goseigers naming scheme for the mecha: Great, Hyper, Wonder, Ultimate. But it was called Ground because Gosei Knight was a Knight of the Earth, it's chosen grounded warrior.

Don't care what the card said. Knight was saying "GOSEI GRAND!" |

Pronunciations and even katakana aside it's officially recognized name is Gosei Ground.

I'm just saying Gosei Knight needs to work on his pronunciation, is all :p |

Neither Knight or cellular are pronouncing the name wrong. I think its just another japanese play on words that they always love to do. 'Gurando' can mean Grand and Ground (Though its usually written Guraundo). Seeing the other Goseiger mech names I'm pretty sure it was meant to mean both Grand and Ground. But they stuck with Ground when the english stuff was needed.

I've been mulling this over all day. Because that's the kind of time you have when you're between jobs. And.. I like Mechazord. I don't know why, I can't explain why even to myself. But I really like Mechazord, I hope they use this for all the Gosei-Machines. Dragon Mechazord, Shark Mechazord. I really like it.

Anyone know what store this showed up in? I was at both TRU and WalMart today and didn't see it. Heck, I haven't seen the Sky and Sea Cycles either.
|
None near me are even selling Megaforce, just trying to dump Samurai stock.
|
I am happy tha Gosie Kight changes frome head to little ranger, I was worried that somehow BoA would cut that out like with the embels modes for Samuri
|
After combining with Gosei Great, I dont know. I mean, the head and the torso look good and so do the legs, but it looks weird with the short waste.

That's a freaking gorgeous box. Usually these clear plastic boxes are boring, or Gosei Great Megazord just looks like pieces thrown in a box. This is pretty.

I seriously missed the zord pictures on the box. They always looked/had the potential to look so awesome. |
