The poster is the best one we've gotten, besides some dark action shots in the trailer.

I need a toy of these so goddamn bad..

They look amazing, it would be awesome to get a toy of any of them. Another thing I just noticed, this has to be the first big blockbuster movie in a while to not be an adaptation, sequel, prequel or reboot of anything else.

I really like the bottom two designs. I like the sleeker designs. Reminds me of Gundam! I'm so excited for this movie, it's crazy. I haven't been this excited for a movie in a while.

my friends said the same thing when they saw the trailer! but still, this movie looks boss and will ready all of our bodies for godzilla 2014 (god willing [and by god willing, i mean it WILL happen]).

My excitement for this movie is boiling! I can't wait!

Also, I read that NECA will be making Pacific Rim figures! Awesome!

We do trailer reviews over at DOOM! and I did the Pacific Rim one, I can't wait for this movie :D

2 producers dropped from it,but its going to begin filming this March.

What's interesting to me about the design style of Pacific Rim is that the meka look like a mix of a Super Robot style machine, but built like a Real Robot. The rocket punch is a classic Super Robot move, but the way that they are "landed" and the pilots "walk" them makes me think Real Robot.

That, and the kaiju we have seen resemble the Terrasaurs from Monsterpocalypse! The one with the big chin really reminds me of Terra Khan from that game. (This is not a complaint).

Following up on that discussion we were having about NECA and their handling of the Pacific Rim toyline, NECA proves they aren't dumb and know what the people really want!

Well they're NECA. From what I understand, they're pretty high quality collector do-dads.

NECA also has a reputation of really messing up occasionally with quality control, so I hope this line is not one of those occasions.
