Giant Savers: First pic of Giant Braver, Assualt Saver, & Crack Saver
 

Have you been keeping up with the Chinese pseudo-sentai Giant Savers (Jushen ZhanJiDui)? If you have then you know this show has actually been in production since roughly this time in 2010! So far there's only been a handful of promo videos for it and some grainy looks at the mecha.

Well today, courtesy of Jefusions' facebook page, we've been given our first look at the toy of the Giant Savers main mecha, Giant Braver! This single in box shot doesn't give us a lot to go on but it certainly looks like it could be a great toy.

In addition to this a recent Taobao auction also gives us our first look at the 2 other mecha from the series. Assault Saver and Crack Saver!

those do look pretty good but man those boxes leave a ton to be desired, especially given the quality of items that come out of those types of boxes most of the time

So the white "zord" is a snowmobile while the rest are animals? Okay, that's weird.

That will take getting used to.. without giggling like an idiot. But! Still very much love it.

Ha! I only just noticed that.

I think white and green are animal/vehicle hybrids.Like white is probably a seal(sliding on the ice and all),and green i think is an elephant/tank.have to go watch the vids again and see if i can tell.

Edit:Wow was I off.Looks like White is a Polar Bear and Green is a Warthog.lol

Assault and Crack Saver are my favs by far.Nothing against Giant Braver,just like the others more.Wish I knew a place to get these,seeing the final form already,I'd def get them all.Hopefully in a flea market down the road.lol

Dude it's a toy based on a chinese knockoff of a Japanese TV franchise. Was anything other than KO ever an option? :lol

but the question is, when will there be a KO of it? and a KO of the KO of the KO?

so how many mecha are supposed to be in the final combo?

The logo of the company is a KO of Tamiya, so I'd say there is a good chance of that happening :D

My question is will they make 3rd party add-ons for the KO of the KO of the KO :D

I really like it now that I've seen the open box product.Like was said,the box makes it look alot less spectacular,but open it looks great.I hope we have the oppurtunity to get them from a website at least sometime down the road.

Not bad at all, even if they are a little on the KOish side. The snowmobile amongst the animals amuses me greatly :lol

Yeah,it's one of those hybrid mecha.Like the green one is a 4 wheeler/warthog.

Also weird to see a yellow sentai hero with a strong,brutish type zord/mecha.Most of the time they're fast/agile.Only other one I can think of is Hurricanger.

Shinken Yellow's mech was a monkey/ape, but I think it looks more like a gorilla. Also, if you count Hurricaneger, than you also have to count Liveman, since it's yellow senshi also had a lion.

Any one have any idea on how we could procure these items?

yup.seems like the animals are gorilla,bull,shark,warthog,and polar bear.

Same here. I really really want to get a hold of these. But ONLY if they're fairly large. Really would like something odd like this on my sentai robo shelves.

I've been looking online for well over an hour on where to get these guys....nothing yet. :(

The only place I've seen them is the Taobao auction I linked to. And I've got no clue how to use that site.

While looking I did find out the characters are based off chinese mythological stories....literally.Their attitudes and behaviors.

No don't worry about it. I have no clue what kinds of ridiculous fees or customs or whatever something coming from there might get hit with.

Just wait for ebay. Everything turns up on eBay sooner or later.

Why? I like the eBay.

Because ebay tends to have some of the most bloated prices and worst sellers on the internet. I sell some stuff there myself. But very rarely, and I don't usually ever buy from there.

What I'm trying to figure out is how much are the Chinese sellers actually asking for. I ran the page through google translate and it said $180.00 for all the sets. Is that right? Also, is the auction for all the sets?

Wait, when did eBay become terrible? Sure, the prices aren't the best ever, but the sellers are great. My item usually arrives within -and sometimes before- the arrival range, which is great considering the shipping is usually free. It also helps that the main thing I buy(Super Sentai Minipla) is most easily found on eBay(csToys sells Minipla too, but it's mostly new stuff, and I want old stuff too). And if you wanna talk bad customer service, HLJ comes to mind. I tried to buy Revoltech Neo Getter 1 from them and guess what happens: it never arrived(though they had the decency to refund me, so they're not all bad).

I'm more referencing the ridiculous sellers for import items like Figuarts and DX robos. Prices are just insane for that stuff and do not reflect at all what these things actually sell for. Hell if we want to talk bad customer service I can say that I tend to get awful service from BBTS regularly.

That's just you, I think. That woman I dealt with that gave you issues was wonderful with me. The credit arrived when she said it would, she was very friendly with my questions.
