Part 1: Mahou Shoujo, Wizard’s Rival?

“Haruto-San…Haruto-San…HARUTO-SAN!!!!”
Haruto awoke with a jolt, hitting his head against Shunpei’s. As they both riled in pain, Garuda, Unicorn and Kraken were all circling around Koyomi, who had just come into the room with a tray with donuts. “Geez, Shunpei. Haruto, are you okay?” “Yeah Koyomi,” said Haruto with a subtle grin.

~CONNECT, PLEASE~

Haruto reached into his magic circle and grabbed a donut straight from the tray. Although he started chewing as soon as he grabbed it, Haruto immediately spat it out. “Koyomi, these aren’t plain sugar!” “Huh? Oh that’s right, the manager gave me this.” Koyomi held out a pink envelope, with “DONUT SHOP HUNGRY” written on the front. Haruto opened the envelope, and in it contained a letter.

-“Dear Haruto-Chan,
Due to you not eating any of my new donuts, you are on a one-week suspension from getting plain sugar donuts."- “What? Don’t worry Haruto-San, I’ll get them for you!” “Wait Shunpei, there’s more.”
-“This suspension also adheres to Nara Shunpei, Koyomi, and Daimon Rinko.

Manager”- “Unbelievable… No donuts…” “Don’t feel so down, Haruto-kun, I have a new magic ring for you.” Wajima said as he was suddenly behind Koyomi. He handed Haruto the ring, which showed the outline of a dragon fading. “Wonder what this can do.”

~INVISIBLE, PLEASE~

With that, Haruto vanished without a trace. “Haruto?” “Don’t worry Koyomi, I’m still here.” As soon as he spoke, Haruto became visible again. “Eh? This ring seems like a dud.” “Ah, I was sure that one could’ve worked…oh yeah, Rinko-chan said she’d be late.”

-Toriizaka Police Station
“Detective Daimon.” “Yes sir?” “We have reports of several disappearances recently, but there’s something odd about them.” “What do you mean sir?” “At the scene of the crime, there has been no trace, except for, oddly enough, a single leaf.” “Leaf, sir?” “Yes, I know you’re working with that Wizard, I was told that by Agent Kizaki. I want you to get him to figure out what is going on, it looks like this case might involve…”

-Unknown Location
“Mandrake.” The botanical Phantom turned to see Medusa and Phoenix among its plants. “Medusa-Sama!” exclaimed Mandrake as it bowed down, but Medusa placed her hand on its shoulder. “I’d like to commend you for your recent work.” “Thank you Medusa-Sama, I believe that if I can hold each of them captive for long enough, they’ll give into their despair quickly!” “Oi, Mandrake, we have a new target for you.” Phoenix handed Mandrake a photo. “As you wish.”

-Donut Shop Hungry
Manager was working the cash register, as the worker was handing donuts to a group of high school girls. As the girls were about to walk away, Haruto came rushing in. “Oi, Manager, how come I’m suspended from plain sugar donuts for a week?” “Haruto-Chan, you never try any of my new ones.” “But that doesn’t…” “KYAAA!!!” Haruto turned to see one of the girls suddenly surrounded by what appeared to be roots. “Phantom! All of you, get out of here!”

~DRIVER ON, PLEASE~ ~SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN, SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN~ “Henshin.” ~FLAME, PLEASE. HI…HI…HI HI HI!~ “Saa, Showtime Da!” “The wizard?!” Haruto leaped at Mandrake, WizarSwordGun in hand, and began to slash. The blade seemed to cut through, but with every slash, the wound healed itself. Surprised by that, Haruto found himself knocked back by Mandrake. ~BIG, PLEASE~ Thrusting his hand through the magic circle, Haruto attempted to flatten the Phantom, only for it to pull the girl who had been trapped in front of him. Mandrake used this to its advantage, shooting out explosive seeds at Haruto, who fell back hard.

“Geez, is that the best you can do?” Haruto turned to see one of the girls from earlier. “Mari-Chan!” cried the captive girl. “Don’t worry, I’ll get you out of there.” Haruto looked on, as he saw the girl pull out a Magic Ring. “No way, you’re!...”

~DRIVER ON, ONEGAI?~ With that feminine voice, a Driver materialized itself on the girl. She pushed down one of the side levers, resulting in the hand on her belt turning into a peace sign. ~SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN? SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN?~ Mari pulled out a pink heart shaped ring, and flicked down the goggles on it. “Henshin!” ~MAGICA! ONEGAI? MAHOU, MAHOU, MAHOU SHOUJO!~ A pink magic circle appeared in front of her, before it came towards her and where she once stood, there was a school-girl looking Kamen Rider. “Saa, Watashi No Showtime Da!” She leaped over Haruto, before pulling out another Magic Ring. ~CONNECT, ONEGAI?~ Reaching into another magic circle, she pulled out a staff like weapon with a crescent moon. Pulling down the moon, the staff became a blade, and with one swipe, she managed to cut through the roots holding her friend down. “Run now!” As the girl did as she was told, Mandrake charged towards Mari. She quickly dodged its punch, and back flipped towards Haruto. “I need to borrow this,” she said, as she pulled off the Flame Ring resulting in Haruto turning back to normal. “Hey!” ~SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN? SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN? FLAME, ONEGAI? HI? HI! HI HI HI!~ A fiery magic circle appeared on Mari’s left, and enveloped her in fire, resulting in her new appearance being similar to Haruto’s own flame style, but with a witch’s hat. “I can take this one out quicker than you can!” ~LUPATCHI MAGIC, TOUCH TO GO? LUPATCHI MAGIC TOUCH TO GO?~ She slipped on another Magic Ring, with a large X on it. ~KAKKOII! EXODUS. SUGOI!~ Fire started to circle Mandrake, as the girl charged at it, and leapt into the air. The flames flew upwards, and surrounded her legs, and then she flipped, delivering a heel kick Mandrake once, before spinning in mid air to deliver a second heel kick- both resulted in an X-shaped mark on the Phantom. It didn’t explode, and only continued burning. “A wood clone, huh?” she scoffed, as she threw Haruto the Flame Ring. She transformed back, before approaching Haruto. “Sohma Haruto, am I right?” “Yeah, who are you? How are you able to…” Before Haruto could finish his question, Mari placed a finger on his lips. “I’m your rival!” she exclaimed as she began to walk off. “Huh?”

Part 2: Mahou-seki? Wajima’s New Job!

“EHH?!?!? SOMEBODY ELSE CAN USE MAGIC BESIDES HARUTO-SAN?!?!” “Yes,” said Haruto as he shoved Shunpei out of his face. It seemed the gang was all gathered in the shop at that moment- Rinko had just entered a couple minutes ago, Koyomi was at her crystal ball, and Wajima was at his work desk. “What surprised me the most was that she could use my Rings too.” “Eh? Really Haruto?” “Yeah Koyomi, but don’t worry, I don’t know when I’ll see her again.” “Geez, you guys are so noisy.” Haruto turned with a jolt to see the very girl he had encountered earlier right behind him. “Is that her? Don’t worry Haruto-San, I’ll get her!”

~SLAP, ONEGAI?~

A pink energy hand appeared and smacked Shunpei right in the face. As he reeled on the ground in pain, Haruto walked around him and found himself face to face with the girl. “Who exactly are you? Where did you… “I told you, I’m your rival. Besides, I’m not here to talk to you, I’m here to talk to Wajima-San.” “Wait, how exactly did you get in here?”

~TELEPORT, ONEGAI?~

As soon as Haruto heard that, the girl was gone from his sight and right in front of Wajima. “Wajima-San, I have a job for you,” she said, reaching into her backpack. What she pulled out shocked everybody. “Magic Stones?! All across his desk Wajima was staring at 4 large magic stones, each matching the colors of Haruto's rings. I want you to make me rings just like that guy, said the girl pointing at Haruto. "Ah, but I..." "Please, Oji-Chan?" said the girl with puppy dog eyes. "Ah, yes, yes, I can." "Wait Wajima-San, you can't be seri-" "Old hag non-magic users should stay out of this." "! Ol...old...old hag?..." Rinko fell to her knees in sadness as the girl began to walk out of the shop. "Ah, wait miss, I need your name for your order!" She stopped and turned, pointing at Haruto. "Marika. Sakai Marika. Remember that!" She left immediately, while Haruto had a dazed look on his face. "How did she get her hands on these?" Haruto. Haruto could hear in his head, Dragon talking to him. That girl, keep a close eye on her, something doesn't add up. I could sense her Phantom, but when I tried to communicate with it, it shut me out. "You can do that?" Yes, now hurry, follow her. We need to figure out how she managed to use magic just like you.

-Unknown Location
Mandrake was cleaning its wounds, surrounded by giant plant like pods. In each one was a sleeping human, who all at once, started writhing in pain. Damn...I didn't expect two wizards to interfere..." "Two wizards?" "Me...Medusa-Sama!" "Mandrake. What happened to the target?" I'm sorry Medusa-Sama, but a female wizard interfered..." "Huh? A female wizard? Oi, Medusa, I can handle her." "Wait Phoenix, I have another idea. Dullahan." From the shadows, a black knight-like Phantom appeared behind Medusa. "Yes, Medusa-Sama." "Find the one Mandrake was talking about, and end her."

-Donut Shop Hungry
Haruto, still a bit mad about the situation, still went to the shop. There, he spotted Marika, scarfing down what appeared to be the last plain sugar donut. She looked up at him, and took the last bite, chewing slowly with a grin on her face. "Thank you Manager-chan, that was delicious." As she smirked at Haruto, she noticed something in the distance charging towards him. "Look out!" She threw one of her rings at him, with it landing on his finger. "Use it!" "Ah, sure!" ~TELEPORT, PLEASE~ Haruto found himself right next to her, and at the spot where he was standing, Dullahan stood there. "I'm here for the girl." "AH! MONSTER!" Manager and the worker left immediately, giving Haruto and Marika free reign to fight. "Do you think you can handle him?" "Ch, Better than you!" Haruto said, handing her the Teleport Ring back.

"Saa-" "Watashi No Showtime Daa!" "Hey, that's my line!" The two of them charged at Dullahan, with their swords in hand, and slashed at the same time.

"Excuse me." "Ah, you're the girl from yesterday!" "Eh? Have we met before? "No, I saw you being saved by your friend." "Is Marika here? I need to talk to her!" "Calm down, what's your name?" "Chika, but please, I need to see Marika!" "She's out right now, why, what's wrong?" Chika dug into her backpack, and pulled out a unique pendant. "Without this, Marika..."

-Scene of the fight
Dullahan had Haruto and Marika nearly beat. His large vorpal blade sent shockwaves into the ground. As the two magic-users fell back, Haruto pulled out a familiar Red Ring.

~FLAME! DRAGON. BO, BO, BO BO BO!~ ~COPY, PLEASE!~ With two WizarSwordGuns in hand, Haruto charged at Dullahan, slashing and deflecting his blade. ~EXTEND, ONEGAI?~ Marika had reached out and snatched one of Haruto's rings. "Hey!" "Don't worry, I'll return it when I'm done!" ~HURRICANE! ONEGAI? FU? FU! FU FU FU FU FU!~ Marika's form had changed, matching Haruto's Hurricane Style, only, it had a green arrow motif and a ponytail like design on the helmet. Marika leapt into the air, and delivered a swift kick to Dullahan's chest. She then grabbed onto Haruto's leg, and spun him upward into the air. As he came down, Haruto delivered an X shaped slash onto Dullahan. The knight like Phantom fell back, but then got back up and held it's sword steady. "I'll finish it this time..." "A..." Haruto turned to see Marika fall down, transforming back into human form. As he looked at her, he noticed that she was in pain. Quickly rushing to her, he was in shock to see that her body was starting to crack, with purple lines all over her...

Part 3: Magica’s Weakness? Do Something Haruto!

-Scene Of The Fight
"HEY! Get a hold of yourself! Hey!" Marika was still cracking, as Haruto held her in his arms. "Ha, this makes this so much easier!" declared Dullahan as he charged towards them. ~DEFEND, PLEASE~ Protecting him and Marika in a sea of flames, Haruto picked up one of his WizarSwordGuns and opened fire. Dullahan blocked and deflected each shot. At that moment, Marika began to cough and breathe heavily. "I don't understand why Medusa-Sama even wanted me to bother with her, she's done for anyway." Dullahan scoffed as he turned and left. "Wait! Damn." Haruto slipped on an Engage Ring onto Marika's finger. "You don't...have to..." "I know, but I need to." ~ENGAGE, PLEASE~ Haruto leapt into the magic circle, just as Rinko, Koyomi and Chika arrived. "Wait Haruto!"

-Marika's Underworld.
"So this is her underworld." Haruto found himself in a hospital. Walking down the hallway, he came across a sign- Maternity Ward. Puzzled, he walked inside to see a woman he didn't recognize, holding a baby. "Wait, why am I seeing this?" As he attempted to get closer, the image cracked, revealing a large Phantom. This Phantom was unusual, it was surrounded by a dark fog, and looked rather ferocious than the other Phantoms he had encountered before. Knocked back by it, Haruto switched from being Flame Dragon into Flame Style, as Dragon flew after the other Phantom. Following Dragon on his motorcycle, they cornered the large Phantom but at that moment-

-Scene Of The Fight
"What's gonna happen to Haruto?" "I don't know, but he better hurry and get out of there quickly." "Geez, why would he do something like that." "...Onii...Onii-chan..." "Eh?" "Mari-Chan, hang on!" At that moment, Koyomi felt a jolt, falling to her knees and grabbing Marika's hand. "This girl..."

-Marika's Underworld
Haruto couldn't believe what he was seeing; the large Phantom he encountered was being attacked by another Phantom. Unlike the one before, this one was similar to Dragon, albeit, looked like a Pegasus. The Pegasus Phantom was flying around the Malevolent looking Phantom, with its wings slicing through the fog. Haruto. "What is it Dragon?" That Phantom. The Pegasus. That one is the girl's Phantom. "Wait, are you saying that ferocious looking one isn't hers?" Yes, now quickly, if you want to save this girl, we have to help the Pegasus! Dragon flew towards the evil Phantom and began to breathe fire. As soon as the flames touched the evil Phantom, it began to change. "What the?!" The evil Phantom had become a large flame covered Phantom. It sprouted Demonic horns and wings began to take flight. As it got further in the air, it smacked Dragon and the Pegasus away, with both landing in front of Haruto. "Oi! Dragon! Are you okay?!" You...boy... Haruto turned to see the Pegasus Phantom looking directly at him. "You better not be the one making this girl fall into despair!" No, I'm not. Please, save Marika. "Wait, aren't Phantoms supposed to want to bring their hosts into despair?" HARUTO! PAY ATTENTION! Haruto looked up as the fiery Phantom was flying down directly at them. "Damn it!" ~WATER, PLEASE. SUI SUI SUI SUI~ ~DEFEND, PLEASE~ Haruto protected them all with a Watery shield, as he then switched rings. ~KICK STRIKE, SAIKOH!!!!~ Dragon turned into the giant dragon's foot again as Haruto leapt into the air, delivering a powerful kick to the Phantom, destroying it. When he landed, the Pegasus Phantom stared and nodded it's head, before flying off into a purple light. "Haruto! Get out of there! Quickly!" "Eh? Koyomi?!" Haruto turned around, wondering where her voice was coming from. Suddenly, a darkness spread over the Underworld, and Dragon ushered to Haruto to leave.

-Scene Of The Fight
Haruto left through a magic circle, riding the Machine Winger just in time. When he stopped, he spotted Koyomi unconscious, with Chika putting the pendant on Marika. "Koyomi! What happened to her?" "She transferred all her mana into my pendant. That's how you were able to defeat Ifrit." "Ifrit? Was that the fiery Phantom I saw?" "Yes, now hand me Koyomi." ~PLEASE, ONEGAI?~ Koyomi suddenly woke up, and was glowing a bit with Mana. "I think it's time you knew the truth about me Haruto." "Well get on with it.""Don't be so blunt!" said Rinko as she smacked Haruto on the head. "I was to be born a twin, but my sister died before she was born. When I was born, my family noticed something about me. Apparently, the Phantoms did too." "What are you trying to say?" "You weren't the only survivor of that ritual, Haruto...onii-chan."

It's Japanese for please, so that's why I wanted to use it. Plus, the Magica Driver has a female voice, which makes it sound cutesie :)

Part 4: Mahou-Shoujo History Lesson!

"Yo Mariri." "I told you not to call me that!!!" yelled Marika as she kicked Haruto in the face.

-Flashback, Scene Of The Fight
"I know you're confused, but I'm not saying you're my onii-chan as in my brother, you're my cousin." "Ah, Haruto-Kun's cousin." Koyomi grabbed onto Haruto's arm and held tight, glaring at Marika. "Eh, Koyomi, what are you doing?" "Cousins can get married in Japan." "WHO'D WANNA MARRY THAT DUMBASS?!!" "Eh, dumbass?" "Ah mou, can't you two just stop this petty arguing and just get on with the story?! We have readers waiting!" "Oh yeah, sorry. Well, due to me being the only twin born, I inherited what would've been my twin's magic potential. At a young age, I was able to use magic. One day, I was approached by a man during one of my classes telling me he could explain everything. That day, I was brought to the sight of the ritual. Just as I was about to crack, I reached up. I heard Magisus's voice." "Magisus? The Pegasus Phantom within you?" "Yes. It turned out that all that time, she had been fighting off other Phantoms that form themselves in me. After the ritual, I was attacked by a Phantom, the one that attacked us earlier, Dullahan. It was at that moment that I met him." "Him...you don't mean?" "That's right Haru-nii. No, Haru-baka." "Baka?!" "The White Wizard. In his arms was..." "Me." "Then Chika, that means..." "Yes Koyomi-san, I'm just like you, someone who was a gate, but still retained their body after their Phantom left." "Are Uncle and Auntie still okay?" "...Dad...and Mom..." Marika looked down as she began to tear up. At that moment, Haruto hugged her. Koyomi seemed jealous, but Rinko held her back. "I'm sorry. What about your brother?" "I don't know where Oki-niichan is..." "We'll find him. Until then, you two stay with us."

"Ah, Marika-chan, I have something for you." Wajima handed Marika 12 Rings; 4 that looked similar to Haruto's main style rings, 4 that looked like his Dragon rings, and 4 magic rings. "Ah, so that means you can use my powers without having to take my rings, huh?" "Haru-nii...can we go outside for a while?" "Okay." As they headed out, Marika turned around and reached into her bag. From there, she pulled out another magic stone, this one was purple and pink. "Wajima-San, I forgot, can you please make rings from this stone?" "Anything for Haruto's family." Marika grinned, then took Haruto by the hand as they headed out. "Koyomi-san, please calm yourself down, nothing's gonna happen between them." Koyomi pretended to ignore Chika's comment as she continued to clean her crystal ball.

-Donut Shop Hungry
"Ah Haruto-Chan, still no plain sugar donuts for you." "Please Manager-chan, can Haru-nii have some?" Marika asked with puppy dog eyes. "Ah! I didn't know Haruto-Chan had such a cute sister, sure he can!" "Ah, she's not my..." Marika stepped on Haruto's foot to make him shut up. As he jumped in pain, Manager handed Marika the donuts. "Thank you!" Marika said with a grin as she sat down. "Oi, what was that about?" "I got your donuts, didn't I?" "Geez, you weren't like this when you were younger," Haruto said as he took a bite. Marika began to eat too when her eyes widened. "Phantom!" A dark sword flew towards the two as they jumped back. "Manager, get out of here!" "Yes Haruto-chan!" As soon as they were out of range, the two got ready to fight.

The two Magic users ran with their swords in hand towards Dullahan. The Phantom called his sword back and began to swing, sending cutting shockwaves through the air, but at that point, both of them knew what to do.

~WATER, PLEASE. SUI SUI SUI SUI~/~WATER, ONEGAI? SUI SUI SUI SUI~

~LIQUID, PLEASE~ ~VAPOR, ONEGAI?~ Haruto turned into a liquid state while Marika completely vanished. Both reformed around Dullahan, and slashed with their blades. "Haru-nii, mind if I finish him?" "Go ahead." ~LAND, ONEGAI? DO DON DO DON DO DON~ ~KAKKOII! EXODUS. SUGOI!~ Marika leapt into the air as the concrete in the ground rose up with her. At that moment, Marika held out another ring. "Hey, that's one of mine!" ~DRILL, ONEGAI?~ Suddenly, all the concrete formed around her foot into a drill shape, as she flew forward and landed a direct hit on Dullahan. The Phantom however, only staggered back, but seem seriously injured. "I'll get you back one day!" Dullahan declared as he disappeared in a puff of smoke.

-Unknown Location
"I see she hit you pretty badly, Dullahan." Where Dullahan had spirited away to was none other than Mandrake's lair. "Dullahan, I hope you don't disappoint me next time." "Yes, Medusa-Sama." "Oi, Mandrake, why don't you go out there next? I bet you can really mess with them!" "Yes, Phoenix-Sama." bowed Mandrake, as it became human.

"Hello, Souma Haruto." "Agent Kizaki!" Haruto had just walked in with Marika while the Agent was standing right in the middle of the door way. "Is she the other one who can use magic?" "Yeah, what's it to you?" "Ignorant little girl, isn't she?" "Little? I'm 17!" "Whatever. Now Haruto, you probably heard from Rinko about what we need. "Ah, yes, the Phantom case." "Look at this case file, you'll see all the people who had been taken by the Phantom. However, we have received word that one man managed to escape. He's also someone you may be familiar with." "Eh, who?" At that moment, Marika heard footsteps, as the person who escaped made himself clear to her. "O...Onii-chan?"

Part 5: Mahou-Shoujo Resolution? Onii-chan Found

"Oki?" "Haruto! Don't get any closer to that guy!" "Eh?" "Tch, so that one could see through me so easily." Oki's face flashed, and suddenly, where he stood, Mandrake was in his place. "Onii-chan...is the Phantom?..." Marika fell to her knees, when all of a sudden she began to crack again. "Oi, hang in there!" "Tch, Marika, I never wanted you to find out this way, but your Onii-chan, he never was around in the first place. That person died years ago, and I was born from him." Mandrake kept walking closer, but Haruto and Kizaki stood in his way. "A Phantom has no business being here," said Kizaki with his gun aimed at Mandrake's head. "I won't forgive you if you come any closer." Haruto slipped an Engage Ring onto Marika and prepared to use it, when Mandrake reached out and grabbed her hand. "Marika, I was the one who lived with you all these years, your brother died when you two were younger. I've watched over you all this time, but when the Phantoms went after you, I decided to join their ranks to protect you. I was the one who told Dullahan to attack you the day of the ritual, because I knew the White Wizard would give you what you needed. I mean no harm, I only came here to be with my little sister again." "So all this time, it was you?" "Yes, when I emerged from your brother, I was filled with his emotions and memories, and I finally understood how to feel. "Shortly after our parents died, Medusa came around. She asked me to bring Marika into despair, but I couldn't do it. Instead, I resolved to just capturing humans and studying their emotions. I kept a bunch of them in my hideout, but rather than making them succumb to despair, they've just been kept in a coma like stasis. Medusa and Phoenix haven't found out yet, and they sent me here to kill you two. I don't want to keep working with them." "Bring us to this lair, we'll take care of everything, Oki." "Onii-chan..." "Marika?" "I'll come too, but please, promise you won't leave again..." Oki hugged her, and ruffled her hair. "Don't worry, I won't."

-Toriizaka Flowers (Mandrake's Lair)
The two magic-users, Kizaki and a task force, and Oki all walked into the flower shop. In the very back, there was a locked door covered in vines. Oki transformed into Mandrake, absorbed the vines and kicked down the door. In there, the task force flashed their lights on a bunch of botanical pods. Touching each one, Mandrake then pulled each person out of there. Haruto and Marika were looking back and forth to make sure they weren't interrupted. As she made her way around one pod, Marika tripped, and as she fell, Mandrake caught her. "Are you okay, Marika?" "Yeah Onii-chan, thanks." "Okay, carry them out now. I'll stay here with them." Once the task force was out of sight, Kizaki pulled out handcuffs and walked towards Mandrake. "Wait! You can't arrest Onii-chan! I just found him...I finally found him again..." Mandrake reverted back to being Oki, and pushed Marika away. "I promised that I'd turn myself in." He allowed Kizaki to slip on the handcuffs and walked away with him. "Visit me in prison, okay?" "I will..."

"That bastard Mandrake, he went and betrayed us!" "Dullahan." "Yes, Medusa-Sama?" "You know what to do."

"Marika, it'll be fine, your brother is being observed by Kizaki-San." "I know, it's just...have I been wrong all this time? Can Phantoms actually develop emotions and care for others?" "It's not just a Phantom, it was your brother." Chika and Marika looked up at Haruto behind them. "Haru-Nii..." "He cares about you." "Haruto!" "What's wrong Koyomi?" "It's about Kizaki-San and Oki-San!" "Eh?"

Kizaki was pretty beaten up. His task force had been taken out. The car they were travelling in was turned over and on fire. Reaching for his gun, Kizaki felt the heavy foot of Dullahan crushing his hand. "AH!!!" "How funny of you to think that you could transport that traitor and keep him safe, with that insignificant gun." Dullahan raised his blade into the air, when Oki transformed into Mandrake, broke the cuffs, and leapt in front and caught the blade. "Why do we have to bring people into despair?! What does that benefit us?!" Dullahan kicked him away, and readied his blade again. "Do we really need a reason?" Just as he was about to slice at Mandrake, Dullahan was hit by a barrage of bullets. Haruto and Marika stood in front of Mandrake, Driver On rings ready. "Haru-nii. Let's set this asshole ablaze.""Yeah."

Both of them leapt at Dullahan with their blades and started having an intense sword fight. Each slash by them was blocked by the other, and when it seemed like Haruto would be able to hit him, Dullahan created another blade in his other hand and blocked the attack. Marika tried to slice upwards, but Dullahan just kicked her back. ~DEFEND, PLEASE~ Haruto created a fiery forcefield to keep Dullahan at bay. Marika then turned her attention to Kizaki, who was still too injured to move. "Kizaki-san, let me help you up." With her back turned, Dullahan took one of his swords and threw it in her direction. "Look out!"...

Marika looked to see Mandrake in front of her, the sword pierced right through him. "Onii-chan!!!" Mandrake pulled the blade out, but then reverted to human form. "Marika...I know you finally found me...but looks like...Onii-chan needs to leave again..." "Onii-chan...don't say that..." "Be strong Marika..." "Aw geez, this is boring..." Dullahan threw his second blade. Haruto quickly ran and grabbed it before it reached Marika and Oki. "Hang in there!" "Haruto... Take care of Marika..." Suddenly, Oki shattered and nothing was left of him. Marika fell to her knees again, and even her rider form was cracking. "Marika! Don't!" Marika. "Ma...Magisus?..." Let me be your strength. "Marika, you..." "Haru-Nii, let me take him on myself." Haruto looked at the changed Marika. Her Flame Style's colors had inverted, her cape had became shaped more like wings, and on her chest was an mark that resembled a horse's head. She was radiating a blazing aura; as the wind surrounded her, it seemed to catch fire. Dullahan was unfazed, and summoned both of his blades back to his side. "You really think that new form is gonna intimidate me?...YOU'RE SORELY MISTAKEN!!!" Dullahan charged towards her, swinging his two swords, when Marika just spun around. The resulting wind turned into flames, and one of Dullahan's swords turned to ash. "What the?!" Dullahan backed up, and held his one sword in both hands. "Let's see how you can handle me with all my power going into one blade!" Dullahan held his stance, when he was suddenly surrounded by shadows. The shadows swirled around his sword; when they disappeared, his sword had grown into a claymore. "You should consider yourself lucky girly, nobody has ever lived long enough to see this. And after I'm done with you, your cousin over there will be ne..." Marika gathered a large amount of fire into her palm and threw it Dullahan. The Phantom merely shrugged and cut the fireball in half. "Hehehe, is that all you got?" Dullahan jumped forward and slashed Marika directly in the chest, causing her to fly back and land in front of Haruto. "Marika!" "Stay back Haru-Nii!...I told you, I'd be the one to stop him." Marika got up, and slipped on a magic ring, one that Haruto was all too familiar with. ~CONNECT, ONEGAI?~ Marika pulled out her Magica Staff, switching it into sword mode. "So that's how it's gonna be huh? Bring it on then girly! I'll end you like I ended your sorry excuse for a brother!" ~LEVITATE, ONEGAI?~ The Magica Staff levitated in the air, as Marika put on a different magic ring and started scanning it over and over again on the staff's hand. ~COPY, ONEGAI?~ ~COPY, ONEGAI?~ ~COPY, ONEGAI?~ By the time she had finished, there was a total of 16 Magica Staffs in sword mode levitating in the air. "What the?!" Marika snapped her fingers, and all 16 swords shot forward, piercing through Dullahan's armor and pinning him to side of a wall. "Damn it, you bitch!" Marika snapped her fingers again, and all of the blades flew out of Dullahan. Dullahan took this chance, and charged forward, his claymore in hand. Marika snapped again, and all the blades flew towards him. Dullahan managed to counter and swing his sword in a way that deflected each blade coming at him, up until he was right in front of Marika. ~DEFEND, ONEGAI?~ Marika surrounded herself in a fiery shield as Dullahan kept trying to hack away at it. She snapped her fingers again, and the swords came back to her, just as she scanned another ring on them. ~BIG, ONEGAI?~ The swords entered magic circles, and emerged as large as Dullahan's claymore. Snapping her fingers one more time, Marika kicked Dullahan first, just as the swords pierced through and pinned him to the wall again. "Argh...you bitch, I'll kill you!!!" Dullahan tried to struggle free, when Marika pulled out one of the swords and began to slash at him. Haruto, who was helping Kizaki up, couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Marika, just finish him already! Stop torturing him! Is that what your brother would've wanted?!" Marika froze in place, dropping her blade. "You're right Haru-Nii...I'll end this for him..." Marika backed up, and pulled out the red magic ring she was given when she received her other rings Wajima made her. ~KAKKOII! UNIQUE. SUGOI!~ Marika floated up into the air, as flames circled her until they entered her back. From her chest, Magisus's head emerged, charging a ball of fiery energy. "No...wait...stop! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I don't want to leave this world yet!!!" Haruto looked shocked to see Dullahan begging for his life. The swords piercing him disappeared, and he began to run away as Magisus was still charging. While running, he reverted into his human form, that of a high school boy. "This is for my brother... Burn in hell." "Please, stop...SAVE ME MEDUSA-SAMA!!!" Magisus launched the fireball at Dullahan, completely incinerating him in a matter of seconds. Marika floated downwards, and her transformation ceased, reverting to human form. She walked to where Dullahan once was, only to see absolutely nothing but scorch marks in the road. Haruto approached her, placing a hand on her shoulder. Immediately, she turned and put her head against his chest and began to cry uncontrollably. Haruto looked stunned at first, but held her tight as he tried to calm her down. Kizaki looked on at the two, and called for back up to arrive at the scene.

-Antique Shop Omokagedo
"Haruto! Are you okay?" Koyomi was there to greet Haruto at the door, who was carrying Marika on his back, passed out. "Yeah, Koyomi...we need a place for her to rest." Shunpei and Rinko ran to Haruto's side and took Marika off his back, setting her on the couch. "She really exhausted herself, huh?" "What about her brother, Haruto-San?" Haruto grew silent, as he laid his hand on Marika's head. "He's no longer with us." The entire room was silent, as Rinko went to Marika and held her hand. "Poor Marika-Chan...She finally found her brother, and now he's gone..." "But I won't let her succumb to despair. She's not alone anymore." Haruto said. Suddenly, he noticed something about her pendant. Reaching down, he found it could open; it was a locket. Inside, there was a picture of Haruto as a child, alongside a little girl- Marika. "I can't believe she kept this inside her pendant." Marika began to stir, as Haruto closed the pendant and placed it back on her. As he turned to walk away, he felt Marika tugging on his sleeve. He looked at her, and she at him. "Can you stay here a little longer, Haru-Nii?" He took a seat, and held Marika's hand. "Sure, your Haru-Nii is here for you." Haruto said with a smile. "I can't believe her brother is gone now," said Chika to Wajima, who was still working on the pink-purple stone Marika had given him. "What about you Chika-chan, where is your family?" Chika looked down, and walked closer to Wajima. "I can't remember. I don't remember my family at all. Or who I am. All I had on me after the ritual was a paper that said Chika. I took that on as my name." "Ah, I'm sorry, I forgot you were in the same situation as Koyomi." "It's fine Wajima-san. May I get you some tea?" "Ah, yes please. I don't know how much longer this magic stone will take to carve, but I'll try my hardest to make Marika a new ring." Chika left into the kitchen, and looked on at Haruto and Marika- Marika was fast asleep and Haruto was also asleep, laying his head beside her. Chika walked around and placed blankets on both of them, and returned to fetching Wajima's tea.

-Wiseman's Lair
The lair of Wiseman was still murky as ever. In front of his curtain, Wiseman could see Medusa and Phoenix approaching, and called out to them. "Medusa, why have two of the Phantoms under your watch perished?" "Wiseman-Sama, one of them was a traitor, and the other was taken out by a female wizard." "Female wizard?" "Yeah, and apparently, she's even more powerful than the other wizard!" "Is that so, Phoenix?" Medusa and Phoenix got into a pose similar to how knights greet their kings. "Yes, Wiseman-Sama. Her magic potential is very high. In fact, she can still fall into despair." Wiseman bolted up and started stroking his chin. "Is that so?" "Yes sir. I shall get another Phantom to go after her and-" "Not necessary, Medusa, I have another idea in mind." From behind, Medusa and Phoenix could hear someone approaching. They turned to see a young man, dressed in a sleeveless shirt, with scars over his muscled arms. "All those Phantoms you two have been sending out have been nothing but failures, which is why Wiseman-Sama called me in." "What was that punk?" As soon as Phoenix came within range, the young man grabbed the back of Phoenix's head and slammed it into the ground. "Phoenix!" Medusa summoned her blade and charged at the man, who dodged every swing she made and grabbed onto her weapon, before shattering it in his hands. "Are you done now?" "Enough!" The three backed away from each other as they heard Wiseman's voice. "You know your mission. "Yes Wiseman-sama." As the man walked away, Medusa and Phoenix kept a close eye on him. "You two better not interfere with my mission...Yugo, Misa." The two Phantoms looked at him confused. How exactly did that guy know their civillian form's names. He turned and kept walking, with both Phantoms stunned and asking themselves what they knew about him. It wasn't until the man pulled out something from his pocket that Medusa spoke. "That's!..."

Haruto looked at the sleeping Marika. Recounting what happened the day before, he knew he had to be there for her now. He looked and saw her Driver buckle, and took her by the hand. Her Magica style ring was shaped with a heart cut. He placed his hand on her head, and found that her fever had dropped. Haruto. Dragon appeared in his head, looking concerned. "What is it Dragon?" Are you sure that we can trust this girl? I know I'm not one to talk, but what if she betrays us in the end? "She wouldn't. I'm the only one here for her." "...Uh...Haru-Nii?" Haruto looked to see Marika awake, rubbing her eyes. "Marika, you should rest!" "Haru-Nii, can we go to an amusement park tomorrow?" "Eh?" "With Chika, Koyomi-San, Shunpei-San, and Rinko-San. Please?" Haruto chuckled, took her blanket and tucked her in. "You said the magic word," he said with a smile.

-Next Day, Toriizaka Amusement Park
"WOW!!!" Marika took Haruto by the hand and started to run into the park. Shunpei and Rinko were holding back Koyomi, who had a frown on her face. "Please forgive Mari-Chan, Koyomi-San. She told me she hadn't been to an amusement park ever since her parents died." "O...okay..." The group went for every ride they could, with Marika laughing and having as much fun as possible. After riding a roller coaster, Marika went with Chika to get the group some ice cream. "I'm glad that Marika-chan is enjoying herself." Haruto looked on at her, and he could tell Shunpei was right; she was smiling. Marika noticed Haruto and waved at him. "Geez, she really hasn't changed at all." "You really do care about her, don't you Haruto?" "Yeah," he said with a smile. "Um...Haruto..." "What is it Koyomi?" "Um...never mind..." Marika and Chika came back, with Chika holding a container that had 5 Ice Cream cones on it. "Dig in everybody!" "Wow!" "Looks tasty!" "Ah...it's good." Haruto looked at their smiling faces, as Chika handed Marika the last ice cream cone. "Eh, wait, where's mine?" "Haru-Nii...here." Marika held out what she had been hiding behind her back- A plain sugar donut topped with a scoop of ice cream. She handed Haruto the fork, and he smiled at her just before he started to dig in. Another hour passed, as the two were having fun as the other four tagged along. They finally made their last stop at the ferris wheel, and all boarded in pairs- Haruto and Marika, Shunpei and Rinko, and Chika with Koyomi. "Koyomi-San, there's something I have to tell you..."

"Wow Haru-Nii, we're so high right now!" "You're really surprised by that? The other day you were flying," Haruto chuckled. "That's not the same Haru-Nii!" She turned her back on him and kept looking out the window. "Hey...Marika." "What is it Haru-Nii?" "Your panties are showing." "Don't look you idiot!" Marika yelled as she kicked towards Haruto. "Ow, geez...whatever, I'm just glad you're having fun again." Marika stopped being angry and walked to where Haruto was sitting and sat down beside him. Resting her head on his shoulder, she fell asleep, but not before saying: "It's all thanks to you, Haru-Nii." The ferris wheel stopped after a couple of minutes, and Haruto nudged her awake. He helped her up and walked her out, but when they exited, they were greeted by the stunned looks of Shunpei and Rinko, and a pouty look from Koyomi. "Eh??" The two looked down and realized they were holding hands. "Haru-Nii, let go!" "You guys don't understand, I was just helping her up, she fell asleep!" "I believe them." Chika stepped forward and ushered to the rest of the group. "Let's go home everybody," she said with a smile. The rest of them nodded, as they all headed outside the park. "That was such a fun day, Haru-Nii." "I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, Marika." "...After Onii-Chan left, I didn't think I could be happy again...but Haru-Nii, you changed that. You truly are someone who can bring hope." "Any time Marika."...

*THUD* "Ha...ruto...kun..."

Haruto, Chika and Marika turned to see something that drew the smiles away from their faces-Shunpei was knocked out and Rinko was bleeding, both on the ground while a man dressed in tattered clothes was holding Koyomi by her neck, draining her of her mana. The man smiled at Haruto as Koyomi's body grew limp and motionless. "I believe this girl belongs to you," said the man as he tossed Koyomi to Haruto. "You bastard...Chika, take Koyomi then help Rinko and Shunpei. Marika, sorry to do this on the day I finally restored your smi-" "Haru-Nii...Let's take him down." "Are you really sure you can handle the likes of me?" Suddenly, the man pulled out two magic rings. "Impossible!" "You're!!!" ~DRIVER ON~ "You know what happens next, right?" ~SHIN TO HENSHIN, SHIN TO HENSHIN~ "Henshin." ~FLAME. SHŌSHI.~ Haruto and Marika looked on at the man, who suddenly had the appearance of a demonic knight surrounded by dark flames. "Saa, omae no End-time da."

Part 8: 3 Magic Users?! War Starts!

-Toriizaka Amusement Park
Crowds of people started running away, causing mass panic. Chika managed to move their injured friends to one of the park benches. She looked on as Haruto and Marika were staring at their new foe- he looked like Wizard, but was more demented, had a knight like look to him. He was standing still, as if he was waiting for Haruto and Marika to make a move. As soon as the two reached for their Drivers, the man looked up, and they were immediately surrounded by flames.

Using their water controlling abilities, they attempted to put out the flames, but the flames kept burning. "Haru-Nii, I'm gonna try something, and when I do, be ready, okay?!" "Got it!"

~HURRICANE! ONEGAI? FU? FU! FU FU FU FU FU!~ "And one more!" ~HURRICANE, PEGASUS. SHIPPU SHIPPU SHIPPU SHIPPU SHIPPU~ Marika jumped into the air in her new form, and pulled out another ring. ~KAKKOII! UNIQUE. SUGOI!~ She sprouted Magisus's wings, and began to flap hard against the fire. "Haru-Nii! As soon as I use this next ring, use Water Dragon!" "Got it!" ~KAKKOII! TYPHOON. SUGOI!~ ~WATER, DRAGON. JABA JABA BASHAAN ZABUN ZABUN!~ Unleashing a torrent of water into Marika's typhoon attack, the two managed to not only put out the flames, but also hit their opponent. But something was off. The attack barely phased him. Looking closely, Marika gasped in shock- the water never hit him, it evaporated as soon as it came in close proximity of him. The man pulled out another magic ring, and Haruto and Marika braced themselves for what was next. ~CONNECT~ A magic circle appeared in front of him, and from it, he pulled out a massive sledge hammer. It was at this moment that he started to slowly walk towards Haruto and Marika; everything he passed by was burning. "This is bad!" ~LEVITATE, ONEGAI?~ Pointing at Chika, she started to infuse Mana into her. "Chika, take them out of here!" Chika rose her hands, and Shunpei, Rinko, and Koyomi started to levitate at her command. "Be safe Mari-Chan!" Chika yelled as she ran from the fight. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fi-" Marika didn't get to finish her sentence as the sledgehammer went flying into her face. "Marika! You bastard!" ~SPECIAL, SAIKOH!~ Summoning Dragon's tail, Haruto swung with all his might. Hearing a crashing sound, he turned and saw something he didn't hope for- the man had grabbed onto the tail and crushed it in his hand. He then lifted the tail up and began to swing Haruto around as if he were weightless. "Damn it!" ~HURRICANE, DRAGON. PYU PYU PYU PYU PYU PYU PYU~ ~SPECIAL, SAIKOH!~ Haruto managed to save himself from crashing into one of the rollercoasters, then flew towards the man with WizarSwordGun in hand. ~COPY, PLEASE~ Dualwielding them in gun mode, Haruto began opening fire. But nothing seemed to phase the guy, he just stood there and took each shot as if it was nothing. Switching both into sword mode, Haruto flew at him and activated both finishers. The wind powered slashes did damage after all! Using them again, he kept cutting but then he realized something was wrong- while they did seem to hurt him, there was no sound. ~ILLUSION~ Haruto was shocked to see the guy in front of him disappear completely, and glanced to his right. In the guy's hand, was Marika, being held up by the throat. "Let go of her!" ~FLAME! DRAGON. BO, BO, BO BO BO!~ ~SPECIAL, SAIKOH!~ Haruto unleashed the Dragon's blast prompting the guy to throw Marika at Haruto. Catching her, Haruto looked back at the guy who waved his hand and absorbed Haruto's fire. "Who is this guy?!" "You seem like you won't learn until I teach you that there's no hope of beating me." The guy pulled out another red ring, one that Haruto and Marika were shocked to see. "Don't tell me-" "He's going to-" ~FLAME, TITAN. JIGOKU NI HI.~ The guy changed, now becoming bulkier, with large gauntlets surrounded by black flames. "Saa, moegara ni yaku." Suddenly, he disappeared in a blur, and appeared right next to Haruto, delivering a swift and powerful punch. Haruto was sent flying, as the guy turned his attention to Marika. "Haru-Nii!...You bastard!" ~LAND, PEGASUS. JISHIN, JISHIN JISHIN, JISHIN, JISHN JISHIN JISHIN!~ ~KAKKOII! UNIQUE. SUGOI!~ Summoning Magisus's hoof-like gauntlets onto her arms, Marika charged forward and began to punch the guy. Unlike before, her hits were effective against him. "I see that you're better than the other one." "I'm not gonna let you hurt Haru-Nii!" ~RAPID, ONEGAI?~ Using the superspeed given to her by the ring, she began to land more punches on the guy. "One more!" ~KAKKOII! EARTHQUAKE. SUGOI!~ Her fists surrounded by floating stone, Marika started to land rapid piercing punches into her opponent. "Damn, this girl is actually managing to hurt me!" ~TITARISE!!!~ "Eh?" Suddenly, Marika was struck by a giant fist. Haruto, who had just regained consciousness, was stunned- from the guy, a giant Phantom had emerged. "You...you can summon your Phantom in the real world?" "Don't be silly." Haruto looked in shock to see the Phantom looking down at him. "That guy is just my vessel, he's not my Gate. I'm the only one here." Haruto's eyes widened as the guy who stood before the Phantom was absorbed by him. "Now if you excuse me..." The giant started to make it's way to Marika, who had been knocked back into human form. "Seems this locket is the only thing leaving you with hope, huh?" Ripping it off her, the Phantom smiled at Marika. "Stop...don't!-" The Phantom crushed the locket in his fist. "I'm sorry, were you saying something?" "No...NO!!!!" Marika started to crack again, only the cracks were spreading faster than before. "Marika!" "My work here is done." The Phantom disappeared as Haruto ran to Marika. "Haru...nii..." "Hang in there Marika!"

-Marika's Underworld
Entering into her Underworld, Haruto found himself in a different memory than before. He was at a house, and there, he saw two familiar faces. "Tou-San. Kaa-San." Behind them was the younger Haruto, and in front of them was another couple. From behind the other couple, a little girl stuck her head out. "Is that...Marika?" As soon as he asked that question, her face cracked and a large dark Phantom sprouted out. "Crap!" ~DRAGORISE! PLEASE~ "Let's go, Dragon!" Flying up to where the Phantom was, Haruto and Dragon were greeted by Magisus. Haruto, we don't have much time, you must end it now! "Got it!" ~KICK STRIKE, SAIKOH!!!!~ Haruto and Dragon delivered their kick, but to their shock, the Phantom was unscathed. It opened its eyes and gave a mighty roar. "I take it everything went according to plan...Titan." Behind Wiseman, was the man who attacked Haruto and Marika earlier. "I couldn't have done it without help. But someone would like to meet you." From behind him was a girl, with cold eyes, staring at Wiseman. "Is this her?" "Yes, this is the Phantom that was released." "Which Phantom are you, what is your name?"


"Her name is Nymph." From the shadows, Chika walked out. "What are you doing he-" Titan was cut off when Wiseman put his hand in front of him as Chika's form started to change. "Welcome back...Nekomata."

-Wiseman's Lair
"You...you were a Phantom?" "Yeah, my little Titan-chan. My illusions are top-notch, not even that girl who hangs out with Haruto-Chan can sense my true nature." Where Chika stood was a feminine feline Phantom, with two tails that ended in flames. She was twirling something in her claws, and when Nymph tried to walk closer, Nekomata threw it at her feet. Nymph looked down and picked it up- it was a human bone. "Wiseman-Sama, why didn't you tell me she was a Phantom? I almost eliminated her!" "Her cover would've been blown then." "Cover?" "Geez, so pretentious Titan-Chan. Allow me to explain everything." Nekomata jumped up onto Wiseman's bed, and started to glow. When her light ceased, Titan, Medusa and Phoenix put their guards up. "The White Wizard!" "Not quite, Phoenix. Nekomata, explain." "Gladly," she said as she reverted to her normal form and chuckled. "The day of the ritual wasn't the day I was born. It was the day that Wiseman-Sama and I planned to create the ultimate Gate!" "The ultimate Gate?" "Yes, Medusa-Nee, the ultimate Gate!" Nekomata was leaping around childishly as Phoenix was getting more and more angry. "Stop screwing around!" He lashed his sword and swept at Nekomata, only to find out that she stopped it with one of her claws. "Now, now, Phoenix-Kun, control your temper...alright?!!" Pushing off the blade with the single claw, she slashed at Phoenix. "You...wait what? My wounds aren't healing?!" "Nekomata's abilities aren't just limited to illusion. She can seal mana itself." "Now, now, Phoenix-Kun, if you stay nice and keep quiet, I'll remove the seal, okay?" "FINE! JUST DO IT!" The seal Nekomata had placed on Phoenix disappeared. His wounds healed, as Medusa looked cautiously at Nekomata. "I had assumed my human form as I used my illusions to make Wiseman-Sama appear as the White Wizard to Mari-Chan. From there, we gave her the driver, her magic stones, and I unsealed her potential as a Gate. That little Pendant you crushed, Titan-Chan, is one that is significant to our plan. Every time she uses magic, it powers her inner Phantom and any magic user who enters her Underworld." "What's the point of that?!" "Easy, Titan-Chan. The Pendant also stores Mana. That builds up and creates new Phantoms within her, like little Nymph-Chan here." Nymph looked up, curious as to what Nekomata said. "Then why does she seem so-" "She hasn't fully developed yet. Since she's a Phantom born out of excess Mana rather than despair, it'll take Nymph-Chan time to become like us. Which is why, Medusa-Nee, I need you to take care of Nymph." "You dare to give me orders, you insignificant little-" "Medusa! You will listen to her." "But Wiseman-Sama-" "Enough!" Wiseman backhanded Medusa as she flew backwards, hitting a wall and reverting to her human form. "Medusa, are you alright?" "You two have failed me many times. Which is why, Nekomata and Titan will take command until you two get your acts together." "...Yes, Wiseman-Sama..." "Hee-hee. Glad you see it my way." Nekomata jumped off the bed and turned back into Chika. "I better head back, they must be worried where I went." She started to skip away before she stopped right in front of the entrance. "Titan." "What?" "Next time, you fight that Wizard...break his arm, I want something to laugh at." "Yes, Nekomata-" "Ah-ah-ah, Nekomata-SAMA."

"Rinko, how is she?" "I just got off the phone, Marika is still in the hospital, Haruto is watching over her." The two girls sat in the shop dismayed, as Shunpei walked in. "Shunpei, how is Marika-Chan." "You guys won't believe what I'm about to tell you-" "Ah, Shunpei, is Haruto-Kun still not back yet?" "Wajima-San, no, I'm sorry, he stayed behind." "Ah, I wanted to show him what I made with the remnants of Marika's magic stones." The group gathered around Wajima, and all gasped at what they saw. "Isn't that-" "Yes, it is Rinko. Ah, but I did remake the pendant Marika had. I made 4 of them, just in case she needs them." "But the picture of her and Haruto..." "That reminds me, I have to tell you-"

Toriizaka Hospital
Haruto was overlooking Marika, who had been hooked up to life support. Her heartbeat was slow, her breathing was heavy. Haruto reached out and held her hand, as a doctor came in. "Sohma-San, I know that news was hard on you, but-" "No, it's fine." "When she wakes up would you like me to-" "NO...I'll do it. I'll tell her." "Understood. I'll leave you two alone." The doctor exited as Haruto sat down and kept holding her hand. He brushed the hair away from her face as looked down. "Haruto-San?" Chika was standing at the foot of the bed, holding a bouquet of roses. "Chika, hey. Come closer." She did as she was told and sat next to Haruto, reaching out and held Marika's hand. "She was my best friend, before the ritual. Back in high school, I was always bullied for being different. So was she. One day, our paths collided and she protected me." Chika had tears in her eyes. "The day she was approached, I followed her. I was part of the ritual. You know what happened that allowed her to contain Magisus in her? She grabbed my hand and declared 'I'm not gonna let us go out like this! Someone important to me, always told me to have hope.' I wonder who told her that?" "It was me, but you know that-" "I already knew, Haruto-San." They suddenly heard a crashing sound in the hallway they heard the familiar sound. ~SHIN TO HENSHIN, SHIN TO HENSHIN~ "Henshin." ~FLAME. SHŌSHI.~ "Chika, take care of Marika." "Right, Haruto-San." ~SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN, SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN~ “Henshin.” ~FLAME, PLEASE. HI…HI…HI HI HI!~ “Saa, Showtime Da!” Jumping out into hallway, Haruto pushed Titan and himself out the window. Drawing the WizarSwordGun, Haruto slashed at Titan. This time, it seemed his attacks were effective. Titan took each hit, but then grabbed the blade and punched Haruto away from it. "Haruto-san! Catch!" Haruto turned to see Shunpei and caught the ring. "This is-!" Haruto got up and pulled out one of his other rings. "Are you sure you can handle me, even with that little ring?" "It's worth a shot!" ~FLAME! DRAGON. BO, BO, BO BO BO!~ "And one more!" ~SPECIAL RUSH! FLAME! WATER! HURRICANE! LAND!~ Sprouting each of Dragon's parts, Haruto flew towards Titan and managed to knock him back. Meanwhile, in the hospital room, Chika had turned into Nekomata. She rose her hand, and sharpened her claws as she slowly moved them towards Marika...

-Toriizaka Hospital
Nekomata was about to swipe her claw down when she felt a hand on her. Turning around, she was face to face with a small girl, dressed in a baby blue hospital gown. The girl looked up at Nekomata with full innocent eyes. Moving her hand away from Marika, Nekomata cut a flower out of the bouquet she had brought and placed it in the girl's hair. "Now sweetie, you might wanna get back to your room, Onee-Chan here needs a little moment alone with sleeping Onee-Chan." The little girl rose her arms, reaching out to Nekomata. Nekomata leaned down, and the girl gave the Phantom a hug. "Is she your friend, Neko-nee?" Nekomata looked back at Marika and then at her hands. Reverting to human form, Chika looked up at the girl. "...Yes, she is."

Outside, the battle was going splendidly for Haruto. Utilizing all the Dragon parts allowed him to get the upper hand on Titan, who's defenses were weakening. A slam from the Dragon's tail lifted Titan into the air, as Haruto used the wings to fly along side him, then used the Dragon head to unleash fire and then beat him back into the ground using the Dragon claws. Crashing into the concrete below, Titan seemed to have stopped moving. Approaching him with caution, Haruto stopped in his tracks as Titan used another ring. ~WATER, NIYORI SHIBŌ~ Titan had changed forms, with blue gems replacing his red. Summoning his sledgehammer, he scanned his Water ring, and threw it at Haruto. Haruto flew into the air to avoid it, but the sledgehammer split into multiple water drops, that reformed into smalled hammers, effectively damaging Dragon's wings. Falling to the ground, Haruto looked on as Titan pulled out another ring. ~HURRICANE, CHISSOKU-SHI~ Titan flew into the air, and grabbed one of Haruto's arms. "Sorry to say I won't kill you today, but I will leave you something to remember me by." Haruto looked at him when he suddenly heard a loud crack. Screaming in pain, Haruto reverted to human form as Shunpei caught him. "Consider yourself lucky, human." Haruto, still reeling in pain, found himself surrounded by doctors and nurses as they took him in.

-Antique Shop Omokagedo
"Eh? Haruto-Kun is?!" "What's wrong Rinko?" "Koyomi-Chan, Haruto-Kun is-" The two stopped when a little girl walked through the door. "Eh, who are you?" "Is this the house of the Wizard?" "Wizard? No, there's no wizard here." The little girl walked around the shop, observing everything before making her way to Wajima's desk. "Is there something I can help you with, little missy?" She looked at the desk, covered in a tarp, but noticed that in the corner was some shiny gemstone. "I was told to bring this." Wajima looked into the girl's hand to find that she was carrying a chain- one similar to the chain of Marika's pendant. Wajima took it in his hand as the girl turned and started to walk away. "Wait." The girl turned to look at Rinko, who handed her a donut. "That's a nice flower in your hair." Smiling, the girl took a bite out of the donut. "Thanks, it's a rose." Making her leave, the little girl turned the corner into an alley way, and peered from it when Koyomi and Rinko left the shop. A man passed by them and the girl stared at him intensely. "Finally found yourself a Gate, Nymph?" The little girl turned to see Medusa, who changed into her Phantom form. "I did what you said and went to the hospital, Medusa. Nekomata tried to claim the girl's life." The girl transformed into Nymph's botanical Phantom form. "I see that your development is going smoothly, you've even been able to create yourself a human form." "That's not all, Medusa." Nymph glowed as her body started to shift. Her new appearance was that of a flowery female with bright wings. Around her arms and legs were stony armaments and her body had become more mature compared to her child like appearance. "Nymph, you-" "Uh-uh, Medusa, call me Naiad."

Toriizaka Hospital
Rinko and Koyomi ran into the hospital room to find Haruto now hooked up to a bed. The two gasped at the appearance of Haruto- his arm was mangled as the doctors and nurses applied a cast to him. "Haruto, are you okay?" "I managed to protect Marika, that's all that matters." "Haruto, we heard from Shunpei. You don't have to keep doing this-" "I DON'T HAVE TO KEEP DOING THIS?! PROTECTING SOMEONE I CARE ABOUT? SOMEONE WHO WAS PART OF MY PAST? I DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS?" The doctors attempted to restrain Haruto after his outburst, as Koyomi looked at him scared and dismayed. "Koyomi, I'm sorry. But you and I know that I can't stop looking after Marika, even if-" "Even if she's not related to you after all, right?" The group looked in the doorway to see Kamen Rider Beast, with Marika beside him. She looked at Haruto with tears in her eyes before she ran away.

Part 11: Mahou-Shoujo Tears? Beast Enters!

-Toriizaka Hospital
"Kosuke!!! Why'd you have to go and bring her in here?!" "Haruto-Kun, calm down!" Rinko and Shunpei were trying their best to hold Haruto back as Beast turned back into Kosuke. "There was something about that girl, Haruto. I was just passing by when Chimera told me he smelt something odd in this hospital. It led me to her room." Kosuke walked closer to Haruto, before pulling out his bottle of mayonnaise and placing it on the hospital. "Here, my get well present." Kosuke turned around and walked to the door as Haruto kept resisting Rinko and Shunpei. "Where do you think you're going Kosuke?!" "Isn't it obvious? While you're in here, I'll watch after her." Kosuke left, leaving Haruto and the others in the room.

Outside, Kosuke found Marika sitting at a bench with her head in her hands. He noticed that the floor around her was completely soaked. Frantic, he pulled her head up and saw that she was unconscious. "What the-" Suddenly, Kosuke was slammed away from Marika's body, and crashed into a nearby tree. Looking up, he saw a watery spirit surrounding Marika, when something else caught his eye. "Ara? The other Wizard is here too?" "Medusa! What's going on here?" "You fool, after you let the girl into that room, you caused her despair to reform, you just let another one of her Phantoms out. Oh Naiad!" From behind Medusa, Naiad came out and rose one hand. The tree that was behind Kosuke had it's branches grow at an alarming rate and entangle him. "Medusa, take my younger sister out of here while I handle this guy." "Younger sister?!...Oh, I see now, that water thing is another one of the girl's Phantoms huh?...It's Feeding Time! HENSHIN!" ~L I O N. LION!~ Kosuke as Beast charged at the 3 Phantoms, when Medusa and the water Phantom disappeared in a swirl of magic energy. Naiad remained, changing one of the stony parts of her arm into a blade to block Beast's slash with the Dice Saber. "Sorry, but we don't want another person in this game!" Naiad swung hard, managing to knock the Dice Saber out of Beast's hands. "I don't even know why you're here, Beast. You lack the same powers as the Wizard and my former host. Do you really think you have a chance at beating me?" It was at that moment that Beast could tell she wasn't a normal Phantom. Usually, he could drain her mana, but something wasn't right. It was like an aura was surrounding her that prevented him from doing so. "I gotta get her away from the girl!" ~GO! Fa-Fa-Fa-Falco!~ Flying towards Naiad, Beast tried slicing away with the Dice Saber. Naiad's armor proved to be too strong, as Beast's attacks were ineffective. "Damn it!"~GO! Bu-Bu-Bububu-Buffa!~ Slamming into Naiad, Beast was shocked to see that she had caught him. "Disappear." "Gladly!" "Damn it!"~GO! Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Chameleo!~ "What?!" Turning around, Naiad could see that Marika was missing from the bench. "Heh, whatever, another one of my siblings was released today anyway. Sure my brother was destroyed by the Wizard, but at least there's one more still inside my former host." Disappearing via magic energy, Naiad never realized that Marika was never removed from the bench; she had just been covered up by Beast's Chameleo Mant. Turning back into Kosuke, he carried Marika in his arms, back into Haruto's room.

"Marika! What happened to her?" "We were too late Haruto, another one got out. I overheard the first Phantom that came out of this one, she said that there is only one more left within her. I suggest that we go into her Underworld before it gets out." "It won't be as easy as that." The group looked into the doorway to see Chika. "You'll need to wait until she get's into despair again, the Phantom won't come out so easily." "Haruto! That's the odd smell that Chimeraa found!" "Eh?" Chika suddenly looked at them angrily. "Tch, to think I'd be figured out so quickly!" Chika transformed into Nekomata to the shock of everybody in the room. "Guess the cat's out of the bag. But Haruto-San, I did get a laugh out of Titan breaking your arm, so here's something to help you get back into the game." She threw to him a magic ring and gestured him to put it on. "Now I'll see you all later...Oh, Haruto-San, please don't tell Mari-Chan about me, I'd prefer her to figure out on her own okay? Goodbye." With that last statement, Nekomata disappeared. Haruto looked at the ring on his hand and scanned it. ~HEAL, PLEASE~ At that moment, his arm glowed, and just like that it was fixed. "Nnn...Haru-Nii?" Haruto looked at Marika, who was reaching out to him. "Marika, it's time I tell you about everything."

Part 12: Mahou-Shoujo Truth? Rider Rings!

-Toriizaka Hospital
With her sitting beside his bed, Haruto held Marika as she looked down. "I was adopted?" "Yes, when I entered your Underworld, I saw you being born, but the woman holding you was someone I didn't recognize. Turns out you were a twin, but your mother died giving birth to her. My aunt, your adoptive mother, was working as a nurse that day and decided to take you in as her own." "I see, Haruto-san." "Marika, even though we aren't truly related, I still care about you. And until we can get those Phantoms off your back, I will protect you." "That's nice and all Haruto, but I'll be taking my leave." "Eh, but Kosuke-" "I was only gonna be here for a day, I got an expedition to go to. See ya." With that, Kosuke became Beast and flew out using the Falco Mant. Koyomi looked on at Haruto, knowing that he was serious about protecting Marika. She walked over and held Marika's hand. "We'll do whatever we can to help." "Yeah!" said Rinko as she placed her hand on top of Koyomi's. "Ye-" Shunpei got up to quickly and tripped, falling down right in front of the bed. Everybody smiled and started laughing, as Wajima entered, with a large basket. "Ah, good, you're both here. Marika, I have some new rings for you." They laid the basket onto the bed, and from it, Wajima pulled out 3 rings, each with a purple-ish pink gem. However, besides those rings, there were a bunch of silver rings, with different gems. Haruto immediately recognized some of them, and picked them up quickly. "These are!-" "Yes Haruto, Rider Rings." "Rider Rings?"

-Wiseman's Lair
Naiad was watching as her younger sister kept trying to reform herself from being a puddle of water. Using her roots, she circled around her. The water flew up and formed into a new Phantom, smaller than her. It had gills, and fins for ears, with a serpentine tail that ended in another fin. Nekomata showed up behind her and circled the young Phantom. Placing her claws on the Phantom's shoulders, Nekomata reverted back into being Chika. "This little one shall be called Undine," she said with a smile. Titan, who had been watching the entire time, was unamused. "This is stupid, I want to fight the Wizard again. But then again, you made me break his arm." "Oh, about that, I helped him heal it." "What?!" "Yup, so go on Titan, fight to your heart's content. And take the little one with you." "Now hold on Nekomata, she just became able to maintain a humanoid form again. She's not going anywhere, I'll go." "Now, now Naiad, sending her now is perfect for her development." "Fine, but I will be close to that area just in case something happens."

-Toriizaka Hospital, Outdoors.
Having checked out of their rooms, Haruto and Marika had packed up the rings, and walked out with their friends. Clutching one of the rings in her hands, Marika looked at the gem within it, when it suddenly enveloped in a bright light. "Look out!" Haruto yelled as he pushed everybody out of the way. A torrent of water pushed him back and into a tree, as the group looked on to see Titan and Undine. Titan, in his Water Style, looked on at Haruto with his sledgehammer in hand. Dragging it along the ground, he stroke it once and launched concrete towards Haruto. ~LAND, PEGASUS. JISHIN, JISHIN JISHIN, JISHIN, JISHN JISHIN JISHIN!~ ~KAKKOII! UNIQUE. SUGOI!~ Marika jumped out and started to punch every piece of concrete she could away from Haruto. "Haruto, hurry, I don't know how long I can hold him off!" "Got it!" ~DRIVER ON, PLEASE~ ~SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN, SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN~ “Henshin.” ~FLAME, PLEASE. HI…HI…HI HI HI!~ “Saa, Showtime Da! And there's more!” ~FLAME! DRAGON. BO, BO, BO BO BO!~ ~SPECIAL RUSH! FLAME! WATER! HURRICANE! LAND!~ Sprouting each of Dragon's parts, Haruto flew from behind Marika into the air, then towards Titan. Using Dragon's claws, Haruto, Haruto started to slice away at his heavy opponent. "Haruto! Move!" ~KAKKOII! EARTHQUAKE. SUGOI!~ Punching with all her might, Marika landed a punch so hard that the impact reverted Titan to his host form. "Hehehe, nice one. This is gonna be fun." "Excuse me, Titan-san." Titan's eyes widened as he turned to look at Undine. Just like her sister, the Phantom was glowing as new parts surrounded her. When the light ceased, in the place of the small girl was a large aquatic looking monstrous creature, with Undine's upper torso at its head. "Undine...you..." "It's Leviathan now, Titan." With its monstrous tail, Leviathan swung at Marika and Haruto, reverting them to their base forms. As Shunpei, Koyomi, Wajima and Rinko went to help them, the tail went towards their direction. "No!" yelled Haruto as he pushed them out of the way again. The tail came crashing down, resulting in a large puff of smoke. "Haruto!" Koyomi fell to her knees in dismay as Marika ran towards the tail. She found one of Haruto's spell rings off, but there was no sign of Haruto. Suddenly, she noticed a shadow above her, and looked up, only to see...

Marika looked up to see Haruto holding onto the ankle of a strange white person. She had remembered the term "Kamen Rider" and guessed the person as such. "What an oddly shaped head...wait, that's not what's important! Haruto! Are you okay?!" "Oi, Haruto, I was in the middle of teaching a class, why did you summon me here?" "Sorry Gentaro, I was in a rush. Look out!" Gentaro saw that Leviathan's tail was coming towards him, and used his jetpack to blast himself away. "What the heck is that thing?!?!" "I'll explain later! For now we have to beat that thing! Marika! You try to use one of them too!" "Which one?" "Ah! A student! What are you doing out here? Go back to class!" "Uh, if you haven't noticed, I'm here to help you!...Oh, how about this one?!" Pulling out a Rider Ring, Gentaro recognized it immediately. "Oh! Nadeshiko! Do it! Summon Nadeshiko!" "Are you really sure your space girlfriend is gonna be good in this situation? Why not Ryusei?" "Eh...but Nadeshiko!" "Baka!" "Hey, if you two are done bickering, will you two pay attention to our current situation?!" Haruto and Gentaro realized that Leviathan's tail was coming down on them and were both knocked out of the sky next to Marika. "Are you two okay?" "Whatever! Summon Nadeshiko!" "Fine!" ~NADESHIKO! ONEGAI? UCHUU KITA!!!! ~ "Huh?!" Suddenly a silvery magic circle appeared above Marika's head. Flowing downwards onto Marika's Magica Style form, suddenly bits became similar to Nadeshiko's armor. On her right arm was an orange circle right on the blue arm bit that Nadeshiko had. The Magica Style helmet changed shape, becoming similar to that of Nadeshiko's, but kept the face plate- only the pink heart that formed the face had turned Nadeshiko's sky blue. With the light gone, Marika stood there in a new form. "Huh? Where's Nadeshiko?" "Here silly!" Gentaro, Haruto and Marika stared at the Nadeshiko Ring, which spoke to them. "It appears that unlike Haruto-san, this girl fuses with whoever she tries to summon instead. So, I'll lend her my power for the time being! Excuse me, press the orange circle on your arm after you point towards the giant monster there." "Insolent Humans, how dare you ignore me?!" Leviathan had turned around, her monstrous head aimed with it's mouth open, as it released a watery torrent towards them. Doing as she was told, Marika pressed onto the Orange Circle and aimed at Leviathan. -ROCKET, ON- The trademark Rocket formed around Marika's hand as she was launched towards the torrent. "Spin around!" Listening to Gentaro, Marika spun around deflecting the water before she aimed at Undine's torso and gave it a swift punch. Undine reeled in pain as her monstrous Leviathan half started to go into a rampage. Landing back on the ground, Marika suddenly turned back into her Magica Style. "Huh?" "It appears that our fusion can only last a couple of minutes. Gentaro! I'll be waiting for you after class!"

With that last sentence, the Nadeshiko Ring became silent again. Haruto turned to see that Titan was back on his feet, ready to face him again. Gentaro stood by Haruto and raised a familiar large switch. "Leave this to me Haruto." -COSMIC. COSMIC ON!- Transforming into Cosmic States, Gentaro held the Barizun Sword in hand raising it towards Titan. "Let's settle this man to man." "I like your spunk. Bring it on!" ~WATER, TITAN. JIGOkU NO SUI~ "Be careful Gentaro. That guy is pretty tough." "I think I can handle him long enough for you to help her out." Haruto laid his eyes on Marika dodging an array of water blasts. ~DEFEND, PLEASE~ Using the fiery shield to protect Marika, Haruto handed her another Rider Ring. Placing it on her hand, she scanned it immediately. ~ZOLDA! ONEGAI? ADVENT, MAGNUGIGA ~ Just like before, a silvery magic circle appeared, only below Marika. It flew upward as Marika was covered in Zolda's armor, with her helmet changing to match Zolda's shape as her heart faceplate turned green. With large shoulder cannons on her back and Zolda's MagnuVisor in hand, Marika opened fire onto Leviathan. "You pest!" ~THUNDER, SAIKOH!!!~ "AHHHHHH!!!" Leviathan screamed in pain as Haruto as Hurricane Dragon shocked her while slicing up her legs.

"UWAH!" Haruto and Marika stopped as they saw Gentaro fly back. Titan in his Water Titan Style had a larger hammer than before. "You weren't kidding when you said that guy was tough." "Gentaro-San." "What?" Walking past Gentaro, Marika smacked his hand. "Tag in." Marika opened fire at Titan, causing him to flinch back and drop his hammer. Taking out a familiar card, Marika slipped it into the MagnuVisor. FINAL VENT. Suddenly, the large Contract Beast appeared before her, as she inserted the MagnuVisor into its back. Opening up, Magnugiga unleashed a barrage of attacks before Marika slipped on another magic ring. "Let's add more!" ~RAPID, ONEGAI?~ Unleashing a barrage of faster missiles, Marika knocked Titan out of his form as a purple flash caused him to disappear. "Where did he-"

From the top of a building, Titan fell onto it's roof as Nekomata stood in front of him. "Can't have my most important pawn die on me yet," she said reverting to Chika, with a smile on her face.

Meanwhile, Haruto and Gentaro were flying around Leviathan, slicing away. -FREEZE ON- -LAUNCHER ON- Unleashing a barrage of freezing missiles onto Leviathan, her legs were frozen in place as Haruto had activated Big on the WizarSwordGun. Cutting her Monster's head off the body, she fell as Gentaro activated his own finisher. -LIMIT BREAK- Launching her into the deeper reaches of space, Gentaro spun around and powered the Barizun Sword even more. "RIDER CHŌ GINGA FINISH!!!!" Utilizing his familiar slice, he destroyed the Phantom as he came down to Earth. Haruto and Marika were there waiting for Gentaro, when the 3 noticed something was not right. They all turned to see Naiad standing over the remains of her sister before turning into her human form with a smile on her face. "Thank you all, this saves me the work of killing her myself." Suddenly, she glowed as all of Leviathan's remains circled her and was absorbed into her body. Her form changed yet again- this time she looked more like an armored night with blue watery lines around her body. In her hand, she held a sword that had a head similar to Leviathan's monstrous form on the hilt. She sprouted large draconic wings, with bark comprising of the wings' frames and blue fish like scales filling the interior. She flapped her wings just once, and that sent Haruto, Marika and Gentaro flying back. "Wha-" Gentaro faded away as Haruto's mana was depleted, reverting him to human form. "Haruto!" "Well, my dear former host, I shall bid you adieu...for now. Let my wind sister inside you grow, okay?" Flying away, Naiad held her sword high as she slashed towards Marika and Haruto. -Toriizaka Hospital- Exterior
Haruto and Marika were surprised that they were held Eiji's arms. Letting go, Eiji turned and looked at the evolved Naiad. "Haruto-Kun, let me handle her. Just sit tight and recover." Pulling out the Medal Holder, he pulled out 3 familiar Medals. TAKA! KUJAKU! CONDOR! TA~JA~DORU! Flying up to where Naiad was, Eiji started firing with the TaJaSpinner. Her wings lighting on fire, Naiad fell towards the ground. Raising her sword, she summoned water that put the flames out. Stopping just above the ground, she flew up to Eiji, who pulled out the MedaJalibur just in time to stop her from slashing at him. The two engaged in a swordfight that created shockwaves in the air, shaking the very clouds themselves. Eiji didn't flinch at all; he kept launching more fireballs, that caused the sky to go ablaze as Haruto and Marika stared upward. "Haruto, I'm gonna go help him." "Marika, are you sure?" "All my life, I've had that Phantom in me. I can't let her hurt anybody." Marika pulled out another Rider ring, slipped it on and scanned it. "Marika! Not that one!" ~GILLS,ONEGAI?~ No sound came out of the MagicaDriver. Marika just found herself surrounded by a Green Magic circle that flew upwards, changing her form to match Gills. Eiji, up above, managed to burn down Naiad's wings. As she fell to the Earth, Marika jumped up and started ferociously attacking her. Naiad stabbed Marika in self defense, but Marika's wounds would regenerate. Taking out her signature ring, Marika scanned it. ~KAKKOII! EXODUS. SUGOI!~ Marika growled at Naiad and delivered a heel kick deep into the Phantom's shoulders. Screaming in pain, Naiad fell quicker until they both collided with the Earth. Haruto and Eiji looked on to see Naiad still in one piece- she had used the water to help regenerate her wounds and her nature abilities to keep Marika's leg in place. Suddenly, Marika's body started to glow and she reverted to human form and collapsed. Naiad took out a familiar ring, which stunned Haruto. "How did she get that?! Eiji, quickly!" "Got it!" Pulling out the Super Medals, Eiji tried to put them into the Driver when Naiad fired torrents of water at him, knocking him far away. "Eiji!" "Now, where was I? Oh yes..." ~ENGAGE, ONEGAI?~ Disappearing into Marika, Naiad turned into a human form as she smiled at Haruto. "You may have destroyed the Flame component, but the Hurricane component will be mine." "Wait!" Haruto reached out before he collapsed, with Koyomi, Shunpei, Wajima and Rinko rushing to his side.

-Marika's Underworld
Naiad was within her former host's Underworld. She looked around at the scene- it was Marika's high school. Walking through it, she spotted Marika and Chika laughing among a group of friends. "So even back then Nekomata was watching over her." Walking closer to the scene, Naiad rose her sword and cut right through. From the cut, the memory started to break down with purple lines...

-Toriizaka Hospital- Exterior
Marika was gasping for air. Koyomi and Rinko were both holding her hands as she continued cracking. Shunpei and Wajima were rushing into the hospital, trying to find something that could help Haruto recover his mana to help save Marika. "I...feel...so cold..."

-Marika's Underworld
Naiad was standing amongst the shattered memories laughing maniacally as the Hurricane Phantom was wrecking havoc. A smile on her face, she transformed into her Phantom Form. "Sister, I hope you will allow me in on this fun!" Flying towards another memory, Naiad rose her sword only to be shocked at what she saw. "You! But how-" Before she could even finish her sentence, Naiad was backhanded so hard that she crashed into the ground. "You bastard... How did you even come in here?!" she yelled at Eiji, as ShaUTa. "When you hit me with that attack earlier, I managed to switch combos and turned into water and melded with you. I'm surprised that you didn't sense me." "Hehehe...that might be the case, but you forget that you're in an Underworld!!! Only magic users can survive in he-" Eiji took the Unagi Whips and smacked Naiad in the face. "You didn't know about these, did you?" Eiji asked as he held up the Kuwagata, Kamakiri and Batta Cores. "Core Medals were made using the concept of Alchemy- science AND magic. So..." He switched Shachi with Kuwagata. "Now..." He replaced Unagi with Kamakiri. "I'm gonna make sure..." Taking out the Tako medal, he placed in Batta. "You never take away someone's tomorrow again." KUWAGATA! KAMAKIRI! BATTA! GATA GATA GATAKIRIBA GATA KIRI BA! Turning into the familiar Green Combo, Eiji split into 9 copies. 8 of them took other Core Medals in hand.

The 9 Combos surrounded Naiad. Before she could even raise her sword, Super TaToBa glowed. The entire Underworld stood still as they all progressed towards her. "I'm sure Haruto-Kun wouldn't like this method. But with what is going on, I have no choice." SaGoZo rose his hands and lifted Naiad in the air with his gravity abilities. "Even though I froze time, her body will be able to feel the pain as if it goes on for a thousand years. That's the only way I can make sure she doesn't regenerate." RaToraTah and GataKiriBa were the first up, taking both their claws and Kamakiri swords and slashed Naiad's wings off. GataKiriBa separated into more clones as they continued to tear Naiad's body apart. Lowering her down, SaGoZo punched her while ShaUTa swung her around while shocking her. BuraKaWani summoned his giant cobra, and it repeatedly bit Naiad. TaJaDor and PuToTyra stood by while ShaUTa threw her back into the air, and all the combos performed their Scanning Charge. GataKiriBa jumped up with it's clones as they kicked straight into Naiad, while RaToraTah ran and leapt off of some of them and slashed at her. ShaUTa and BuraKaWani propelled themselves up and kicked her into the path of SaGoZo's fists, as TaToBa and Super TaToBa rider kicked her down and leapt away. At that point, TaJaDor and PuToTyra both aimed. TAKA! KUJAKA! CONDOR! GIGA SCAN! PU TO TYRANNO HISSATSU! Firing directly into Naiad, Super TaToBa immediately stopped time. This made Naiad feel every single attack that she was hit with and the last blast made her scream in pain as she exploded. The Hurricane Phantom, realizing that her sister had been destroyed fled, restoring the Underworld to normal. Merging back into TaToBa, Eiji turned and saw Magisus approaching him. "You should be glad I was available when you called me." I thank you, Hino Eiji. I have something that I want you to tell Marika and Haruto when I let you back out...


-Toriizaka Hospital- Exterior
A magic circle appeared next to the restored Marika as Eiji stepped out of it. Haruto walked over to him, and Eiji gave him a smile. "Don't worry, Naiad isn't gonna bother you anymore." "Thank you Eiji." "Haruto, I need to tell you and Marika something." "What is it?" Marika asked as she got up and walked towards them. "I met your inner Phantom Marika-Chan." "Magisus?" "Yeah, and she told me one thing." "What was it?" "Well, first, I need to go back. And gather the others." "Others?" "The other Riders..."
