Megaforce Sky/Land/Sea Brothers Gallery
25 Attachment(s)
Tokunation is proud to present a comprehensive gallery of the Sky, Land, and Sea Brothers Zord Vehicle sets from the Power Rangers MegaForce toy line. Each set of three Zords are packaged with a vehicle, ranger pilot, and 2 cards from the Action Card Game. The three vehicles share the same mold and have three ports, allowing zords to be easily mixed and matched. The ranger figures included in each set are of the same quality as those packaged with the Samurai Auxiliary Zords. Each ranger is molded in a seated position and has three points of articulation. The Sky Brothers set comes with the Sky Brothers Zords (P-041) and Sky Megazord (P-103) cards. The Sea Brothers come with the Sea Brothers Zords (P-038) and Sea Megazord (P-102) cards. Finally, the Land Brothers are packaged with the Land Brother Zords (P-039) and Land Megazord (P-065) cards.
The MegaForce Brother Zords are smaller in size and have less detailed paint applications than their Goseiger counterparts, but unlike the zords in the Samurai line, they have identical combinations with Gosei Great. Due to the lack of Datas in Megaforce, Ultra Gosei Great is created using the vehicle pieces from the zord vehicles. The BoA 'Ultra Change' zord is only available in the 'Sea Lion Blue Ranger Cycle' set and comes with the 'Ultra Change Zord' (P-044) and Ultra Gosei Great Megazord (P-045) cards. A detailed gallery of the Japanese headers and their combinations by user Den-O can be found here: Goseiger DX Seaick/Landick/Skick/Mystic Brothers Gallery You can also check out Den-O's Hyper Gosei Great Gallery here: DX Goseiger Datas Hyper/Hyper Gosei Great Gallery Stay with Tokunation in the upcoming weeks for more 'Mega' galleries! It's a shame they had to remove the spring-load gimmick from these. Overall they do look better than I'd imagined they would. No pictures of the combined forms?
|
They are lacking from the originals, but they way they made those jet things was neat.

I still wish they hadn't completely ditched Datas.

I like the idea of the vehicle pieces on the back, but they just look so awkward at that angle.
|
Nice... I think it looks better without Datas attached to the back. it gives it a nice look

Yeah, didn't think so. |

Other than the lack of Datas ( i still hate Goseiger with a fiery passion, Sorry Sentai) Hyper Gosei Great Megazord looks EXACTLY the same as Hyper Gosei Great from the front, and thats one thing i commend bandai on
|
Finally found a Gosei Great Megazord today and have updated the gallery with the combinations. Didn't realize the 'hyper header' for Hyper Gosei Great was packaged with the 'Sea Lion Blue Ranger Cycle' so I'll pick that up tomorrow and update the gallery. ...Again.

Is it just the light or is your Snake Zord totally missing half of the paint on his face?

Kind of a shame about the QC because I actually really like the megazord. |
I feel like this mecha line is very low quality unlike Samurai. But then again, BoA. They do look good, but I just wish they left some kind of action feature to all the headers like the Japanese version, since the only ones that do are the heads for the artillery mecha and the Dino zord.
|
Since Datas's role in making the Hyper Gosei Great is just to be strung upside down as a giant backpack that's as thick as Gosei Great itself, I find it nice that BoA was able to do away with him entirely.
On the other hand, what really turned me off to the BoA Hyper Gosei Great is watching Baltmatrix's review of the combination and watching the new backpack bounce all over the place when he put it on his turntable. I'm curious to hear from someone who owns the full combo: do you have any problems with the backpack falling apart? |

Mind you, the whole backpack has quite a bit of weight to it and is only connected by one peg. I think they definitely could have made it more secure but considering they had to completely engineer a brand new replacement for Datas, BoA could have done a lot worse. |
how much does each of these sets retail for?
really not wanting to get that hyper header to have an extra unneeded leg but looks like hes necessary for the full megazord |
