Former Power Rangers writer Amit Bhaumik has previously spoken about a seasonal plan called "The Hexagon," which would've been the 11th Season if things had panned out.

I like the concept...but something tells me that something would have...fallen flat...I don't know...too good to be true comes to mind...

I heard stories about the Hexagon idea, but it's nice to see what all they initially intended.

That sounds awesome. It would be a budget nightmare, but awesome nonetheless. I do like the mention that some characters would return for reoccurring roles beyond Tommy and Jason, like Joel and Delphine.

Anyway, it's long since past, and I must agree with the end that it was a story written for it's time. While, theoretically it could be tweaked and rewritten to become the 20th anniversary, it would just seem like too much hassle.

anyone else think that, had we known this when NS first aired, we would've realized it was a warning sign for most of Disney era PR seasons?

I think the Hexagon idea could work for Megaforce, and could be used to explain the pre-Zyuranger Sentai.

Because Disney shut down production within a week of the finale of Wild Force airing. In there eyes the show wasn't making enough money to justify using people in various unions.
Then production on Ninja Storm began after Doug Sloan and Ann Austin pitched to them that they would save money if production moved to New Zealand.
What's interesting is a few of the older fans who knew Amit are stating this is a lot different to what he told me around 2003/4.
I can't believe we would have got this considering Tzachor was executive producer at the time, you know the guy who gave us Samurai!

its a shame we didn't get this...th civil war before marvel did it. and some of the previous seeded plot points seem very intentional now

I know. Although they would have had to re shoot a lot of new sequences for that though.

That is true. This still needs to happen at some point in all honesty. Obviously, some things probably would have to be changed (who knows if Jason Frank would be available, or any of the other actors for that matter).

I don't think it'll really work anymore.
Regardless of how often Linkara tries to point it out, the series aren't considering themselves in continuity with each other anymore, and beyond token lines in the crossovers, they are, for all intents and purposes, completely separate universes.

Trying to implement this story now will probably lead to more plot holes and continuity gaffs just to have guest appearances and etc.

I do wish he'd start working on it again.

No, he's constantly trying to bring up continuity (The invasion that occured during PR In Space, for instance. Whenever any new series acts as though monster occurrences are new and the Power Rangers are treated as a recent team, he will, without failure, always bring up the freaking invasion as though In Space is canon to, say, Lightspeed Rescue), despite the series making it very, very clear from the get go that what went down in MMPR, Zeo, Turbo, and In Space did no happen in this current universe.

the fact that without fail some ranger team is almost always ready or not far behind helps me believe someone is ready against evil. also wasnt zordons zwave suppose to wipe out all the evil in the galaxy...ha whole lot of good that did.

Except for Dino Thunder featuring Tommy, or the season-that-shall-not-be-named featuring Bulk and Skull (plus Skull's son Spike).

but dino thunder didn't have the huge alien invasion thing, it was a lab accident gone wrong and wanted to turn humanity back into dinosaurs and Samurai was an ancient PR team that passed its powers down to the next generation, how they never met zordon baffles me :lol
