Happy New Year! Goodbye to another year, and goodbye to another season of Power Rangers. In bidding farewell to 2012's Power Ranges Super Samurai, check out our gallery of this milestone SH Figuarts figure, the leader of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Shinken Red, Shiba Takeru! Not only was this the first Super Sentai Figuart ever released, but also the first SH Figuarts figure to make it to US retail shelves. If you haven't already, check your local Toys R Us for this fantastic figure!

It's a damn shame that these never showed up in TRU over here. Then again, I've said that about a lot of toys over the past year.....

REKKA DAIZANTOU!

It's made of stiff-plastic... like Jayden's acting! BOOSH! I do like this though. But if I was going to buy one, it'd by the Shark Power one. I like that Shark Sword.

I would definitely have bought him and Shinken Gold had they arrived in Canadian TRUs. Something about buying an S.H. Figuarts at a local retailer would be great. But who knows, maybe they still might, the US TRU site does still have 394 of Red (I guess he was shipped in much higher quantities than Gold), so maybe they'll send us some overstock!

Like many others I assume this was my first Figuart, so its a special one. What it has in dodgy shoulders it makes up for in epic accessories. The only thing it really needed was a stand included.

This was the first toku Figuart that wasn't supposed to look armored, so they had to come up with something to mask the shoulder joints. What they came up with were rather odd cylinder things, which didn't work so well for inward movement.

I like Shinken Red, I mean I have three different versions of the char now(Hyper and Super)

Shinken Red is really one figuart that badly needed diecast feet so he can stand better holding the Daizantou.

I'd like this figure more if mine could actually stand up :lol

Actually, every figure I've uploaded a gallery of is almost completely unable of staying upright for more than a day. My Cyclone Joker has a very loose leg stem, my Decade has loose feet, and this guy's foot is really prone to popping out. Just my luck, I suppose.

Well, you could always give it to Decade :D

This is a pretty fun figure, I really enjoy my Shinkenger figuarts.

And my TRU still has three Shinken Reds, I just saw them last ngiht.

I remember when I bought mine. Came with a Kuroko statue. Pretty cool.

Shoot, you reminded me I have that thing lying in a cupboard somewhere, and I probably should have taken it out for this. It's practically the only toy of mine that I've left MISB, and as it happens, probably the one that's worth the least, opened or sealed.

Mine kinda just sits around. Currently it's right above my TV.
Might not be worth much, but not much fuss when displaying :p

My first Figuart. Definitely LOVED this costume design. It's so classic, and simple. When I first opened up the package being my first S.H.F... and all the accessories acted like Pop-a-matic perfection.. I was a little frustrated. SO many pieces!

Love that the Fire Smasher was included, but damn, without any of the stands there is no way in hell it's gonna stay up. Act 5. = Viagra apparently.
