Hey Power Rangers fans! Happy New Year to you and to everyone, but the big news of the year is the fact that this year the Americanized adaption of Super Sentai, Power Rangers, is celebrating it's 20th birthday this year. To honor that milestone, TokuNation.com is celebrating 12 of your favorite Power Rangers seasons all year long!

You may have noticed the graphic change in the upper right corner of our site. That's because for January, we're going to celebrate Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. Later this month stay tuned for a massive update about all things Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, from the show to the merchandise to the actors and actresses on the show.

I'm just glad we got Power Rangers to even begin with.Without it we wouldn't know about any of the older series or about sentai at all.

Not a fan of Lost Galaxy though now the gorram theme tune is stuck in my head! Depending on what I get sent by the pr company in terms of Ranger merch this year, I do plan on doing a retrospective over on the website of doom. Can't wait to see how the franchise builds this year :D

why start on my least favorite series of all, oh well as long as wild force is on here im good :D

Lost Galaxy was when I finally fell out of Power Rangers. The loss of the In Space cast killed a lot of my interest, although it did lead to the awesome team-up episode. I don't think I finished the show the first time around, but I've enjoyed it more on revisits. That said, I actually like it a little less now that I know we could have had Cassie back instead of Karone. :lol

I have to wait for December for that

It's hard to believe, I remember coming home from grade school to watch Mighty Morphin. Although Gamera vs Gaos is my earliest memory of toku, it was probably MMPR that cemented my intrest.

I was wondering what the Lost Galaxy Rangers were doing up there. :P

Yeah. I was just thinking yesterday that I pretty clearly remember watching the very first episode, which I think was a special preview. It sounded kind of dumb, but I gave it a shot anyway. I'm not sure how much I actually liked it at first, but it was definitely something very unique and different compared to the rest of the stuff on Saturday mornings.

We have to have a tribute to that excellent battilizer. Loved that damn thing. So simple, so awesome. That and Kendrix.. And Magna Defender. Those three!

The Magna Defender was so cool.

Completely cool. Magna Defender is what I hope Gosei Knight will be in Megaforce. Just complete badass.

I believe it's this season, along with RPM, that has the most drastic change from it's source material. It's like "Well we got this series about Nature & Pirates" "Screw that! Let's make this about space colonies & alien bugs!"

If RoboKnight can reach the levels of cool the Magna Defender reached, then he'll easily be the shining star of the series.

He might. Lost Galaxy was a Saban series, after all. And he needs something after needlessly changing his name.

I wonder if they will make Gosei knight a ranger like they did in LG for Magna Defender, I mean they released the leon cellular as RoboMorpher so they might do it. Because I did fell a magna defender feel to gosei knight in goseiger :p

I would be totally behind this idea.

if they do I will probably buy the robomorpher, if not, ill still probably buy it:D

Funny you should say that, as I loved Lost Galaxy. It was a space drama with dudes kicking monster ass with awesome magic-techno powers. MD is a total badass and I hope Robo Knight can live up to his standards (and hopefully not die)

It will always hold a special place in my heart, along with OOO, Fourze, Dino Thunder and Shinkenger.

As for what got me off Power Rangers, SPD. Dear Lord, nothing really set me with me with that series.

SPD was a very polarizing series, I'm finding out...

Lost Galaxy was the best season. Leo was the best red ranger. The first pink was hot.

Not my favourite season by a long shot, but this sounds like an excellent way to celebrate the Power Rangers anniversary! :D

man i loved this seris awesom that we get it first it was wild force where i stop buying power ranger toys and i going to be celeberating my 20th this year as well and i was 3 when i got in to the show.

Only watched a few episodes but I must say this was one ambitious series. The pilot episode alone held so much promise. I hope Power Rangers tackles something galactic again, forgive my pun. :lol:

I know the feeling. :( I remember watching the first episode of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers on Fox Kids.

Lost Galaxy was a pretty awesome series for me. When In Space ended it felt like the old era had ended and that made me pretty sad. But Lost Galaxy carried on just a bit of that plot, and had that awesome In Space crossover. So it holds a special place in my heart as well. The Astro Megaship, the Quasar Sabers being made by Zordon, Kendrix becoming the new Pink Ranger, it did so many things that I love. And then Lightspeed Rescue pretty much ruined my good feelings after that :(

I was too young to remember my first episode of PR (It aired when I was only 2), but because my mom of all people was big into Toku, I still pretty much remember watching it :lol

Lost Galaxy was, to me, very meh. It didn't wow me, it didn't bore me, it was just "Oh, Fox Kids on Saturday mornings. Power Rangers, Digimon, and the Tick. Whoo!"

God I miss The Tick. So much better than that Live Action horror show.
