First Akibaranger Promo
 

Courtesy of BandaiJP, the first 35-second promo for the forthcoming Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger has landed on Youtube! While it doesn't offer much in terms of storyline, it gives is the first glimpse of the suits in action and that the show will continue the Sentai tradition of plenty of explosions!

Wow, that's just so...wacky!

Red, Yellow and Blue's reactions to the trademark background explosion at the end totally won me over.

If they're gonna make fun of things like that I already know I'm gonna like it.

The trailer didn't do anything I find very wacky or weird, but i'll still be checking it out.

Well, it's wacky considering how the normal Sentai never reacts to the explosion

Makes me wonder if we'll get a scene similar to the meeting with doctor K in RPM.

I like the reaction to the explosion. Very excited to watch this show.

I wonder if they'll have some sort of acknowledgement of the Go-Busters, maybe in the background you see them fighting or seeing the Go-Buster Ace in the city or something.

I don't think we'll see the actual Go-Busters because if I'm not mistaken, Akibaranger is set in a separate world where Super Sentai are fiction.

However, I think there will be loads of nods. For starters, based on a tip from dukemon22 of Rangerboard, take a close look at the sign posted on the door AkibaRed looks at:

Tokumei Sentai Go-busters is 特命戦隊ゴーバスターズ. I have no idea what he's saying though.

This show certainly looks like it'll be good.

I really want to watch this but it is on at 1:00am who will be up to record it is this a porno sentai

they won't air porno on regular TV in Japan, maybe some nudity, but not out and out porn. Garo had nudity. I doubt we'd even see nudity with Akibaranger though, maybe just a lot of adult content (humor,etc.) and a lot of fanservice camera angles.

The more I see the more excited I get about this. Parodies done well always win me over quickly so here's hoping :D
