DX Goseiger Gosei Ground/Ground Gosei Great Gallery
16 Attachment(s)
Tensou Gattai, Combine Gosei Ground! Tokunation brings you another entry in it's Tensou Sentai Goseiger DX gallery series, and this time it's the DX Gosei Ground! Gosei Ground first appeared in Epic 17 when Gosei Knight revealed his ability to transform back into the Groundion Header. Groundion along with Sealeon and Skyleon forms Gosei Ground.
When the Gosei Ground and Great are combined Ground Gosei Great is formed! In this combination the 3 lead headers from the Seaick, Skick, and Landick Brothers can be interchanged on the staff to use different powers. The addition of Gosei Knights' Groundion Header also creates a unique Gosei Great combo called Ground Hyper Gosei Great which was only featured in Goseiger Vs. Shinkenger The Movie! To see how the Power Rangers Megaforce Gosei Grand Megazord stacks up, to the original Gosei Ground check out Tokunations previous gallery by contributing member Conundrum! |
Nice gallery, even if I disagree with the naming conventions you used.

Gosei Great and Gosei Ground are likely the only DXs I'd get from Goseigers.
Edit: As I said in the other thread, katakana DOES say Grand. But its not the first time the parent company has listed it as otherwise. Its personal preference really. (It may also have been a play on Grand/Great and also Ground/Sea/Sky) |

It's a beautiful thing. Just wish poor Gosei Knight had a more dignified way to become the head :lol

I guess Grand does make more sense in the grand scheme of things (no pun intended), but I have more of a fondness for Ground too.
Anyway, I'm guessing Goseiger didn't have any black repaints for the mecha? Pity, because I'd love to see this done up in a cohesive colour scheme. |
They seemed to have stopped since boukenger (unless you count engine daishougun)
|
I guess starting with Go-Onger they have movie repaint/remolds like Engine Daishougun, Gosei Wonder, and FS-0O Frog. What'd Shinkenger have?
I lean toward Grand in the whole Grand/Ground thing, but the box and paperwork does say Ground on it. Then again, official romanizations can be wrong (like with Falcom's Ys series where there is a villain named Dulk Fukt [Dark Fact] and a character in Ys SEVEN whose name is officially romanized Krshe) About the actual figures.. I know the BoA version is pretty close, but after actually having a DX Gosei Ground the differences are night and day in the plastic, joint, and paint quality. |

Roanstalker is mostly right, one of the last DX special release repaints was the Black & Gold Daibouken. There was however a Black & Gold Minipla Gekitouja release. And during Go-Ongers run there was a Black & White Police Deco Gunbiroh, as well ass a blue and white Speedor repaint named Skydor.
It seems though that there have also been several special lucky draw type releases such as a full chrome Engine Oh. But as far as standard Black & Gold repaint releases though the last was Ultimate Daibouken. It's a shame though because figures like Daikaioh, Gosei Ground & Ultimate, even Gokaioh would look great in B&G. |
Out of all the configurations for Goseiger this is probably my favorite one. The design actually feels like it was designed with thought in mind, instead of just sticking a bunch of stuff on and calling it an upgrade... Not very cluttered and it does give me some nostalgic vibes with MMPR's Dragon Battle Mode.
