Kamen Rider OOO POKÉMON Tournament
 

Thought up and idea comes from Kamen Rider OOO i thought i help by Making This Thread the Rules are Below. Please Remember this tournament was organised by member Kamen Rider OOO and all credit goes to him. Also please enter the Friend Code of your Game and the name of your player.

The Rules are as followed: The Following Pokémon are banned- Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect.

Okay, with the Banned List up, let's state the Legendaries that are allowed in this tournament. However, to be nice, only 1 will be allowed on your team, if you choose to have one-

Latios, Latias, Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Raikou, Suicune, Entei, Regirock, Registeel, Regice, Azelf, Uxie, Mesprit, Cresselia, Heatran, Regigigas, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus.

Remember, if you want to use any of these in your team, to be fair to others, only use ONE of them
No Doubles of a Pokémon species- Like no 2 Lucarios in your team. Also if there Trainers on this Forum that Hack there Game with Cheat card are not allowed as in pokemon learning moves they are not maent to know E.G Blastoise knowing Fly

Pokémon can't hold the same item in your team- Only one of your Pokémon can have a certain type of item, like Lucario can be the only one to hold a Leftovers.

So let's set up this tournament!

I'll probably be a push over but I think I'll give it a go.

Based on discussion in the general thread, it seems not many here bother to go all out in training. So it looks to me to be an even playing field.

Which probably makes it a good thing I won't be entering given my nearly-perfect EV trained team. :lol

i never learned or grasped ev training due to it was somthing never need in the older games

It seems that if we do a single battle, we are limited to only 3 Pokémon in our team. Is that fine with you guys? Or would you like to make the tournament have different rules applied too? Like we can use the RNG to decide what the match will be (like 1 is Single Battle, 2 is Double, 3 is Triple, 4 is Rotation, etc)

that could work but i was thinking if we make the tournament elimnation based each round can be a different like full 16 could be rotation then triple and then double the finals single

So, is there a way to use flat level rules with a full team of 6?
Oh, and I propose double elimination. It would implement a losers bracket, but it would prevent a single mistake from costing you the entire tournament.

Oh, and could we possibly stick to just single and double battles? Triple and Rotation are just too gimmicky...

And one non-uber Legendary, eh? That's cool.

It appears the only way to use a full team of 6 with Flat Rules is with Triple or Rotation.

Double Elimination? You mean like you have to win like 2 out of 3 to continue? (I might be wrong on that lol)

Yeah, only one. I'm debating whether to be the nice guy and not use my Latios lol.

Oh...

And double elimination meaning 2 losses before you're out of the tournament.
It would require the construction of a 2nd bracket.
Feel free to decline this. I'm just used to double elimination because that's how a lot of fighting game tournaments work.

And go ahead. I don't use legendaries, but I'm not gonna be angry if you do (Unless I lose to it :p)

Don't touch triple and rotation battles. They do not work well in tournaments.

Doubles are seemingly the most popular one, with a team of 4.

Singles is still perfectly fine, but I'm sure there is a way to allow 6-mon teams instead of just 3.

Well, we're using the Flat Rules in the Wi-Fi club, which limits to 3 if you try single, 4 if you do double, 6 for triple, and 4 (correction made) for Rotation battles.

I freaking hate battling Legendaries. :S

I tried to battle with my team in random matchups, and I kept going up against a guy with Landorus's Therian Forme. As you can guess, my global ranking kept going down -___-

ok so i do the radomization once we have an evan number that can be half i take it

What? I'm just going by how tournaments are usually set up- 8 or 16. We can't have an even matched tournament with our numbers right now

True i just found a site to randmize a list of any kind to find out who battling who oh and i got 4 shinny deoxys up for trade
