Power Rangers "Legacy Power Morpher" Listed; Shipping In March
 

Toys R Us Canada has put up a page for the long-desired "Legacy Morpher," first major piece of merchandise relating to Power Rangers' 20th Anniversary.

The Morpher comes with five Dino Coins, is priced at 49.99 and is expected to start shipping March 2nd, 2013 (although dates are subject to change).

You'd think that they would give us all 6 coins. But seeing how much money it's costing them to make this beauty, I have no real right to complain.

I feel like Dragon coin will be some sort of exclusive, maybe Morphicon or something.

I will definitely be getting this, but I, too, think I would almost prefer to get Zyuranger repro labels for it - especially for the back, depending on what it ends up like.

Depending on how this sells, I would expect Bandai will release a gold version with the dragon coin - maybe even the White Tiger coin. I mean, it's a simple repaint, and everyone would want it.

Yikes, at that price it's a hard sell for me. Coins better be diecast too.

It's more than likely that it'll be out in the US; TRU Canada has gained a reputation of late for posting new-ish stuff that we've already known about like the Ranger 6-pack with a February release date.

What surprises me is the fact that the Canadian TRUs are the first to get this up.

I'm also worried that this might end up being the Hasbro Mp10 situation of our fandom.

Also curious to know how many everyone's getting.

The coins ARE diecast and it does light up, it also plays the original MMPR theme song which could be annoying at times. I think $50 is a tad bit steep but worth it in the end.

But I'm wondering should I order right now with the TRU Canada or do I have to wait till it shows up in the US TRU? and I'll just be getting one

everyone saying this price is a bit steep, the original is in the $100s with all 5 coins, I think $60 is a helluva deal for one, im definitely getting one when the US TRU lists it

Zeo know us UK were more likely be going to import it due to i don't remember any of the 15th anniversary red ranger figures coming to the UK same goes for the 10th anniversary stuff as well.

and to the others i think in pics of the back looks like to have the z painted on and also i thin this might be slightly bigger then original like prop replica size so the repro lable want even fit so rep be making new ones for this set.

To those saying they would want Zyuranger labels on this, don't worry, I'm right there with you (though I'll probably never do it).
Also the price sounds about right for something that not only has electronic lights and sounds, but also 5 decent size die-cast coins. That's assuming that this thing is the same size or larger than the original toy. If it's smaller.... well then that would be a rip, but it seems like BoA is trying to go out of their way to do right by the fandom this year, so I'm hoping for the best.

This year is going to get very expensive, very quickly, isn't it?

I'm gonna do my very best to try and middleman a couple of these based on availability. I have some friends who work at my local TRU who may be able to snag them for me. If that's the case then I can help you guys out.

You're amazing, I'm so touched. :cry I'm already anticipating the huge price jack-up when they reach Australian shores, so shipping from the US is going to be much cheaper. Can you believe Megazords cost the equivalent of USD$50 here?

So I've heard. I imagine these things will sky rocket once TRU inevitably sells out and never restocks. That's always the case with the exclusives at my local one. If I have to be that guy who goes in while they're unloading a truck and buys all of them, so that other people who actually want them can get them, then I will.
