With Akibaranger renewed for a second season, I think it's high time we got the Akibaranger sub forum up and running again. Share your thoughts, theories, and the like for season 2 of the Unofficial Sentai!

I wonder who the villains will be. I think they should do one of the other Sentai villain tropes, either space aliens or demons. :D

As for speculation, now that they know they're a TV show and they got renewed, they should just run with as many tropes as they possibly can each episode. Malshina should turn good and be Akiba Violet, Koskos needs to be Akiba Pink ala Deka Swan for like one episode. They should have a crossover with a spoof Kamen Rider. But he should be a Kamen Driver, he uses a car that can be the Itashaa rival robo. (If Itasha has been rebuilt that is)

Overtime has the raw but said they didnt feel like subbing it. Ive gotten the raw and watched. Its incredibly funny and amazing.

Ep 14 subs might end up being TV nihon side project subs

The group spends part of the season amnesic of the relevation of them being in a TV show due to Hatte Saburo's uber executive meddling skills. They eventually break free due to Deja Vu and to combat Saburo, the cast escapes the show with giant Grand Delusion to take the fight to him.

Crazy I know, but that's the only thing I can think of to top last season's big reveal.

I hope so. I'd be really disappointed if this thing didn't get subbed. With all of the various groups out there surely someone will sub it. I'm hoping Nihon does it though, I watched their series subs weekly. The overtime ones just didn't seem to do it for me.

The best parts of it are the live performances of the opening theme, Machine Itasha theme, and heroic Lilly. But seeing Gosei Shinken ang Go-On Red appear with their "powers" for the Akibarangers was priceless too :lol

I really can't begin to imagine where the show will go after the end of last season, at least in terms of the plot.

I do expect new Akibarangers and maybe a power up for them of some kind.

It's great we're getting a fourth Akibaranger. I wonder if she'll use a MoeMoe Z-Cune like the others or if she gets her own henshin device.

If she does get her own, it should be called the Satomi Shifter :lol

Since theirs were guns I really really hope the new ranger gets something kinda traditional like a wrist changer. OR since she's supposedly an idol girl maybe she has to use am Aoi-Tan microphone to henshin? :lol

Yea I know what you mean I got in to sentai through go-onger and it was nihon and I have a habbit once I get to a fan sub group I like I stick to it and nihon been my fave since then like you I never liked over time dunno.it.dont feel right.

All I fucking want is a couple of new Akiba Rangers, more awesomeness, more SHFs, and a cameo from Red Racer. That is all.

Oh, and for TV-N to sub the damn stage show. :p

I'm hoping that the major conflict is Z-Cune Aoi facing low sales or something along those lines. The writing was great for the first show, so I can't wait for this one.

Man I'm really pumped up for a second season. And possibly an Akiba Purple? That's good to hear. I want an Akiba Green and Akiba Pink though.

Speculation: Akiba Purple will be the "actress" that plays that anime character they're obsessed with. (I can't remember her name... I just started re- watching Akibaranger last night)

Hakase? Possible considering her father created the MMZ's anyway. I hope she and Kozkoz join the team one way or another.

Oh shit, I didn't know that. I didn't finish all of Akibaranger. I'm working on restarting now, I'm on episode 3.

It's easily one of my top picks for sentai. It might have been short but the things it did, it did brilliantly.

Akibaranger is a very good way to get into Sentai. It's how I got in. From it I moved to Gokaiger, which I just finished yesterday.

Very good choice. Akibaranger is hard to follow up but Gokaiger does not disappoint either.

^Yeah, I'm hoping Jetman lives up to Gokaiger and Akibaranger, which it should do since Black Condor was really cool in the Jetman Gokaiger episode.

I think an Edo period episode is a necessity :D

Although, I'd really love to see them try and do things like a Christmas or New Years episode in the middle of June because they think they need to have episodes like that to become an official Sentai, but never get to air in December :lol

^A Santa Akibaranger would be required if that Christmas episode was made. :lol

Oh no, I don't mind it. I watched some later episodes as they were coming out, but missed some episodes in the middle, that's all. :]

I'm really excited after watching that video. a 4th Akibaranger would be an exciting addition to the team. Malshina as the new member would be very interesting indeed. Even if she doesn't join the team, I hope she plays some role in the second season.

There have been reports of season 2 being filmed, so I can only assume that it'll probably air in April.

I just realized, if they're gonna have another Akibaranger, he/she would have to have their color in their name, which leads me to believe we'll have a new character.

So if we're getting an AkibaPurple, does that mean the character's name is going to be Murasaki?
