High Resolution Press Release Images for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Legacy Megazord
6 Attachment(s)
That's a mouthful Power Rangers fans! The upcoming diecast version of the 2010 Reversioned Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Megazord have surfaced. The toy, due out later this year as part of the 20th Anniversary of Power Rangers, features diecast metal, making it a more "collector" oriented item.
Click the title bar to check out the images! Expect to see more pictures and information the closer we get to Toy Fair 2013. As usual, TokuNation.com will be in attendance at the show! CREDIT: Morgan Lamia of RangerBoard |
Dear lord that thing is beautiful. Please make your way over to the UK!
I wonder if TRU is intentionally lying with that "First released in 1993" tag.
If Bandai really wants to have a 20th Anniversary figure then give us the original molds from the 90's!
(yes I realize that those molds might not exist any more.) |
Looks great! I really hope they release more than just that though...Come on never released Dragonzord and more widely released Titanus! *crosses fingers*
I would cry (tears of joy) for a new Dragonzord.
I was a huge idiot to let the 2010 Megazord pass me by. Not making the same mistake twice.
Oh man, that does look absolutely gorgeous...
that...may be a solid purchase...
i own the 2010 verstion due to the fact 2010 verstion missing stickers or now paint app if they went with the scupted in detail and then paint it side then i am gettign this regardless
So, what exactly is diecast on it? The whole thing? Or just little pieces like the triceratops horns, mammoth tusks, etc.
You know what would really make it a collector item? Instead of diecast, how about the original Megazord with full articulation and quality? Why is this rehash at all relevant? |
Dear fucking God, I want to bring that beautiful thing home with me.

Now I feel like a sucker for owning the 2010 reissue Megazord...
i think the hole things diecast and i think they went and sculpted in all the areas where the stikers went and paited them instead

If this isn't crazy expensive or has any quality issues I may consider double-dipping. |

It looks like the same one I bought 2 years ago...
I'll pass as I have SRC, but if this release paves the way to get a new Dragonzord toy to attach to him, I'm all for it. On the other hand, I would rather have a SRC Dragonceasar. |

I'm just trying to remember where there was diecast metal in the original MMPR Megazord/DaiZyuJin.....
It certainly looks nice, but not much different from the first. I'm really hoping for tampographs here.
guy if you look closly this is bette then 2010 verstion here my say 1) it got all the sticker/paint app that where missing on the orginal 2010 one on there it finally has a the full length white line like the show did neath the orginal 90 to ro dyzyjin DX toy had that and also this has working forward kneew joint unlock the vintage one where you need to press the button and in all honsty it has the same articulation as the vintage with the added knee joint and just missing the trunk movent and the wheels thats it.
while this looks awesome, I really hope they make a dragonzord :lol
Looks really nice. If it's not too expensive, I may actually get this. Felt bad for missing out on the first release of this sculpt, but this does look much better. Would be great if they made a Dragonzord to go with it. If I do get this, it'l probably be the centerpiece to what I call my "Others" shelf. Basically everything I've collected that I like to display, but doesn't quite deserve a shelf of it's own. So far it contain's an 8" Lion-O in-package, 6" scaled Mr. Freeze, 3-3/4" TASM MOC, 3-3/4" Quorra, Battle Cat, and two Enterprise-D's. This would make a good centerpiece for all that to sit around.

Got the 2010 version, don't need it again with metal. Hopefully this does lead to a Dragonzord, though.
For 60 bucks, it looks like a great purchase. Still hoping for that dragonord. Ontop of that I need to buy megaforce merchandise and kyoryuger merchandise.
Might grab this one, considering I missed the 2010 one.
Paint job looks sweet and really brings out the nice details in this mold. The 2010 Megazord was not a bad Megazord by any means.
Need this so badly.

Why not go for broke and pick up AbarenOh/Thundersaurus Megazord, too? |
Unless there's a Dragonzord and Titanus to go along with it, I won't buy it.
I just want to know WHERE and WHEN I can preorder this! I saw it at SDCC and wanted it then. They sure are taking their sweet time.
I gave the pics the ol' eagle-agile-cat-eye and I think I have identified the die-cast by comparing the clearly plastic parts to what look like fully-painted components. (which would imply die-cast) Sabertooth's head is deffinately die-cast, and maybe the tail or rear legs. T-rex is looking like the torso and possibly the thighs. I'm deffinately feeling a die-cats head on mastodon. Triceratops looks like the horns and maybe the head. (to balance out Sabertooth's) And the Pteranodon looks like maybe the inner body, if anything.

Sadly only the SRC has the badass articulation |
I think that's pretty correct, sans Pteradactyl, which doesn't look to have any diecast.

I would love to have an amazing articulated version.Until then I will love my SRC version. |
Actually, they are.
There's a reason why that Voltron was released with so much fanfare. Considering Bandai of Japan is well aware of it's adult collector's market and not afraid to release products solely for them, why do you think they don't release fully articulated and accurate transforming Sentai mech? |
