Power Rangers Megaforce Villain Names Revealed
 

After the avalanche of Power Rangers Megaforce news we've gotten recently we finally have confirmation on a majority of villain names for the series! US names are bolded, orginal Goseiger names in parenthesis:

Admiral Malkor (Mons Drake)
Creepox (Dereputa)
Vrak (Buredoran)
Bigs (Makuin)
Bluefur (Kingugon)
Metal Alice (Metal Alice)

I am loving they couldn't come up with a replacement name for Metal Alice :lol I'm okay with these. Vrax sounds like a good name, and so does the rest. I think taking General on the front is a little lazy but it's something they do alot. All in all I have no real complaints, I think they're solid.

I like all those names, they're believable by Power Rangers standards.

I'm sorry, but Bigs?

Dude I know, it's awful. Now I wish they'd called Kingugon Wedge :lol

There are worst things they could've named Makuin :lol

Hardly a threatening name for a villain, huh? :lol

I really like Admiral Malkor. It slips off of the tongue pretty easily, and it sounds imposing. The rest are pretty lame though.

Don't know about you guys but I kind of think Bluefur is a worse name, but neither are particularly terrible to me. :lol

I can see the creative meeting now...

"Ok,now onto Kingugon.What shall we name him?"
"Well we can't use Bigfoot,too obvious."
"I know,how about Bluefur!"
"Whoa,amazing! How'd you think of that?"

*looks at picture of Kingugon as you can hear the collective slap of all the facepalms from around the world*

Hmm bigs,a potential wedge, and an admiral...Its A Trap!! Fine no wedge but i've been itching to do that joke so i wasn't going to waste it.

Wasn't Wedge the only guy to survive both Death Star battles though?

I liked when they were named Bigfoot and Blob. Sure it was "lazy", but I didn't mind.

Oh well, these are actually good. Bigs made me chuckle a little. lol

These are like the perfect anniversary names for Power Rangers villains :lol

Why you ask? Because they include the three staple naming conventions Saban use when adapting a series.

1) The Warstar use the convention of turning random words into names
2) The Yumma beasts use the convention of just using an observation of the character into a name
3) And then finally, Metal Alice represents the naming convention of not being bothered to change anything from the source material :lol

I'm wondering where Robogog is though. I'm really hoping they didn't cut him or are planning on turning him into some monster Metal Alice made because either would be major BS in my book.

The names sound pretty good, and it is nice that they are keeping an original name.

I can actually picture Robogog being a generic MOTW.

I have a feeling he'll either be that or a lackey for Metal Alice. Not amused.

well based on episode descriptions...the mantritis arc only appears to be happening during the last 5 episodes when they appeared for a good 15+ in Goseiger, so I'm guessing quite a bit from that timeline will get cut. Who knows though...they could easily use him for something else if they have his suit still lying around.
