During Nintendo Direct, Iwata said that “screens” from Smash Bros. will be shown, but Sakurai makes it sound like we may indeed be seeing footage instead. We'll have to wait to find out for sure, but at least we know that more info will be coming soon.

I hope it's like Brawl's reveal. That was awesome :lol

Although I'm not going to get my hopes up too high to be owning them any time soon. Nintendo haven't been the best with getting things out of late *cough*Luigi's Mansion*cough*

I wonder, since Mario was altered to include FLUDD in Brawl, if Luigi will be changed to have a vacuum or the flashlight from Ghost Mansion.

FLUDD needs to go bye bye. If anything else, Nintendo has to listen to what the fans want to a certain decree. Brawl's a fun game, but there were issues that must be addressed if Nintendo doesn't want GameFAQS to just bitch, piss and moan about them. It's no fun trying to get tips on a game you like only to read about constant whining about its flaws.

I hated marios fludd but i really want luigi to have his vacuum. Maybe it can act like kirbys copy ability considering the medals that gave it elemental powers.

I hoping tripping comes back!

I hope Luigi gets the Vacuum as well. It'll be interesting to see how it's handled.

And tripping just isn't a fun mechanic.

And yeah, FLUDD was crap, considering it did no damage, didn't push enemies far, needed to be charged, and lost it's charge over time.

Nice to hear the 3DS rumors were true. Looking forward to this.

I don't know what it is, but something tells me that GameFAQS' approval is on the bottom of Nintendo's priority list.

Considering GameFAQs' users are just crying because Brawl wasn't Melee 2.5, there's no reason to listen to them. Their actual good points and reasons are drowned out with the likes of whining over the removal of wavedashing and that Fox isn't god tier anymore.

More reason to get a 3DS. I'm hoping the game will have as big a focus on Pokémon as it did in Brawl, and maybe even have a few Generation VI Pokémon.

I just want Mewtwo back. He's the only non-in game-clone character dropped (Had to add "In game" because anyone who knows Pokemon will understand the irony).

While they said they wanted to focus on character balance rather than character numbers, I do hope we get at least one more playable character from the Metroid and F-Zero franchises...

This, combined with Project X makes me want a 3DS a whole lot now.

Ridley (They can have him slouching or just make him physically smaller than his Brawl incarnation if size is an issue), "Fusion Suit" Samus (An alternate version of Samus that uses different weapons, such as her Ice Beam instead of her normal Plasma, the Speed Booster and Booster Jump instead of Missiles and the Screw Attack, etc etc), perhaps even the Omega Metroid.

Also, as a concept, FLUDD was alright. In execution was there they dropped the ball.

:lol I was going to make a joke and say Ridley, but I didn't since he's a huge dragon.

And how so? I remember there being plenty of water in the game...then again it's been years since I've played it.

Ridley's size has varied from game to game.

And it was just dull. The game just got tedious to just hose everything down just to progress.

Now that you mention it...yeah it was always like "clear this goo to access this area" huh?

Yep. Ridley goes from being a head taller than Samus to a giant lumbering dragon.

And yeah. It probably does change, but I never finished it to find out.

If it comes out this year I'll be incredibly surprised. The hype machine for it is going to be crazy though, I already feel sorry for Sakurai and his team. Must be some immense pressure there.

But yeah, I look forward to seeing something, it'll definitely be a game I pick up on both systems =]

Please let it better than that trainwreck of a game playstation tried putting out..
