Thought I'd post up the discussion while we wait :D. You know, for speculations about the episodes from what we've seen in previews

Loved the use of the Dress Up ring in this episode, when does the Wizard Fancy Style web exclusive get announced? Not a fan of the excite ring, but at least we know what it does. Good to see Rinko doing some stuff on her own and being a detective.

Watched the episode. Was alright. Dress Up and Excite were fun. Imagine Excite + Big :lol

I didn't enjoy this episode that much. Honestly, I would've turned it off mid way through if it the subplot wasn't about Phoenix.

Honestly, I actually like Beelzebub's plan.
It's quite different from "Smash object," probably the most interesting premise for an episode yet.

That was perfectly fine. Wizard is just boring me to death.

It's the same thing every time. Gate gets attacked, Haruto saves Gate, Gate doesn't cooperate in some way forcing a misunderstanding related to hope or despair, monster gimmick revealed at end of part 1. Part 2 will be a mess of new power ups to spam because that's the only way to beat the monster's gimmick. The rest of part 2 is the Gate pointlessly whining about life to explain the lame misunderstanding of part 1. It's to predictable and gets boring after awhile.

While many Rider shows use this kind of story temptlate, most of the other shows make up for it with interesting or entertaining characters. Wizard sadly just doesn't have either at the moment. The status quo hasn't changed even with Beast around.

I liked this episode. It felt different, in a good way. I like how there's a subplot too.

Watched the Sub--we're getting some character development . . .sure it was for Phoenix, but it's still cool to see. His unwillingness to tolerate Wiseman sidelining him and getting to be even more of a loose cannon should make things interesting in episodes to come.

. . .and man, did that look like the least pleasant lunch date in the history of everything.

Beelzebub's a good deal stronger than most of the Phantoms have been before now if he can hypnotize a bunch of folks and do that weird "warping" thing to bend attacks around him. None of that explains why he has those fly-eye man-boobs, but probably best not to ponder that too much.

Holy shit, Rinko's actually doing her job.

Good episode this week. The Phoenix subplot is really interesting, it looks like next week he may get some significant development. And Beelzebubs plan is really nice, much better than the typical attack you until your breaking point that most of the Phantoms have had up to this point.

Liked this episode a lot. Some really interesting character stuff with the main supporting cast.

Phoenix may just be one of the most developed KR villains in recent history. But in his (now former) human as a florist that was a kind and decent human being I have to wonder if it does come down to it all Gates may have to have their magic abilities destroyed since they house evil beings inside that grant them said powers.

Other that Caitsith we only seen pure evil Phantoms that only wish to get more of their own kind for Wiseman so he can do what he did in the first episode again. Is Wizard willing to take away all the magic of so many people just to save the world? Will he be willing to go into Knight Templar mode to keep hope alive?

Also Rinko is doing her job. Nice to see her not hovering over Wizard like most of his supporting cast.

Hulkamania running wild.

Did someone at Toei just forget they were shooting an episode or something? The damn thing just STOPS with Haruto in mid-sentence.

I think they were trying to prove that there are ways to come up with a worse cliffhanger than the average mid-series Fourze episode.

I liked this episode. One of the best for quite a while now, quite possibly because they're using sub plots. Part two looks interesting on Rinko's side, Haruto's seems to be standard power up fare...

It was actually pretty short, so you could look at that either way...

Overall I liked this episode. It was really nice to see Rinko do something other than sitting around. So...apparently Excite turns him into Hulk...cool! The part where it showed Flame Style with a top hat and bow tie was kind of funny. Also next episode Haruto gets the Four Sword, yay!

It was nice to see Rinko do her job for once :lol

But that excite ring was ridiculous.

Honestly, the first time I saw the Excite Ring used on Wizard, I thought "Damn, that would make a great Power Rider figure." :lol

I'll say that seeing Haruto use it in civilian form was absolutely hilarious. But using it with his costume looked completely ridiculous.

The Good

Liked the Rinko detective subplot a lot. Looking forward to next weeks episode for that

Beezlebubs Human form is creepier then that monster form

Funny bit with Wizard all dressed up and the top hat falling in his face

Excite was fun , but i don't anticipate seeing it very much.


The Bad

The episode was all over the place

Not enough Beast!

Hey, if Wizard gets an American adaptation, at least we all know which is gonna be one of the first toys on the shelves now :lol

I just wondered why the fly-eyes had to be his pecs. Then again, they actually tried to get it in the ballpark more than they did with Valkyrie, but whatever.
