Ok, the mecha fight continues to be amazing, I like how they purposely kept many of the sets dark, so that the glowing parts on the buddyroids and the Megazords stands out. Banana missiles and the subsequent fall from the discarded peels? a bit much for me. Also, I really don't like Enter, not because he's the bad guy, but him and his pretentious use of French is just annoying. Not sure how many episodes I will be able to take if he just does the same thing over and over again: Conversation with the Messiah, creates Metaroid, Go-Busters show up, he does his tentacle thing, escapes. That's gonna get old fast...

The Banana Missiles are awesome, they're both thematic and functional! I also love how even the mention of the word chicken can affect Hiromu.

Banana missles or STFU! Seriously those were hilarious :lol Sadly though I thought they were the highlight of this episode. Nothing much happened and the whole Yoko/Hiromu love/hate thing has already worn thin. And honestly Gorisaki getting to role out for battle didn't feel very meaningful or honestly necessary. Why would Ryuji head out when Hiromu and Nick could get the Enetron MUCH faster with less complication? I still love the show and how different its take on a sentai is but this episode was fairly bland :(

Great episode as usual. Repeating the same praises every episode is going to get old pretty fast on my part, so I'll just point out random things that caught my eye.

Man, those zombie patients were downright freaky. They almost qualify for a New Series Doctor Who monster. They give me the shivers alright.

Great uses of the mecha by the way. The fights are really something now. Truly amazing.

I think Enter is going to become my favourite character for this series - he steals the show every scene he's in.

My thoughts are pretty short and sweet this week. Awesome episode. Awesome action, good characterisation, banana missiles, Making fun of super sentai conventions,etc.. Just hope it can keep it up =]

Bland? You learned more about the past. You got some character growth from all three busters. You got to see more of the mecha. You learned that the big bad can lose his temper and just want death. I mean when was the last time a
sentai villain just wanted people dead? I mean wow.. If this was bland to you, I can't wait to see what is exciting :P

yeah but it's only episode 3, we're still in "set up" heck Fourze was 12 episodes before they were out of Set up. Hurricanger took 7. give it time.

Oh I know, I just don't know how long I can stand Enter's French before I want to reach into my iPad and choke him! Good thing I don't have the Retina Display version yet :lol

I really liked this episode but yeah i have to agree, his constant use of french is kind of, not annoying, but its kinda weird. Man, messiah is getting impatient, i hope they free him soon. Also when are they gonna debut gobuster-oh? Also im still getting used to not just having the monster just turn huge at the end of the episode like normal, its a litttle odd, but it is kinda refreshing, also interesting that even the word chiken makes hiromu freak out, and i couldnt help but think of back to the future during that scene. Also banana missles

Here's something I don't get (other than this being for marketing reasons): In the scene after rescuing a doctor, the Go-Busters take off their helmets and are seen carrying them. Why do they have to do the henshin sequence again to put them back on?

Maybe it disappears back into the morphin grid after being idle (i.e. not connected to the suit) for a certain amount of time? I noticed that the Sougan Blade and the Ichigan Buster just disappears after a while, and then they'll have to summon it again.

You know, if the building that houses Enertron is so important, you'd think they'd have done something to fortify defences by now.

Yeah, it reminded me a lot of RPM where they use their morphers to take off and put on their helmets.

Struggling to connect with Gobuster. Still giving it a shot, but it's a long ways off for me.

Better question: Why did the Brace say "It's Morphing Time" instead of "Back to Action"? :p

And yes, Banana Missiles with peels are awesome. The only thing I didn't like was Messiah. I hate villians that won't listen to a good plan.

Go-Busters is amazing. IMO, and this is only my opinion.. I think the complaints people have so far are just nitpicks. I think some people are looking for reasons not to like it because it's either NOT GOKAI(people are saying this), or it's different than recent sentai's. If you look at past series, it shares a lot of similarities with stuff like changeman, flashman and goranger. It also brings new to the table. I suggest people open their minds a bit more about this series.

I think Go-Busters are doing everything to establish that they are not riding on Captain Marvelous' coat tail, from the filming style to the suit details, everything is trying to break the norm of Super Sentai, it's as if Sentai and Kamen Rider had a baby or something :D I like that it is different, my only nitpick is that while Basco seems laid back and cool when he speaks English, where as Enter just feels pretentious and creepy. But, that could be how he is SUPPOSED to act.

But the thing is.. While it's breaking the norm it's also not.

But it is pretty radically different from what we just experienced with Gokaiger. That on top of it being so different in both style and story from your normal sentai makes it very interesting. I agree with Tamashii that it really is blazing a path of its own that feels much like a sentai/rider mixture. I loved Gokaiger but the norms Gobuster has been breaking have been refreshing. Watching Gokaiger Vs. Gavans' final Mecha battle was very odd after seeing the more epically scaled battles we've had from Gobuster.

The way I see it is this, The Gokaigers made it "Showy" and the Go-Busters gets down to bizness :D I wonder if they will break the norm again and go with a less comedic if not downright serious character with Beet and Stag.

Well not every villain has to be freaking cool, lest we start admiring them over the real heroes. ;) Basco is unnerving, but that's his quality as a villain, I guess. We need bad guys to despise sometimes. :D

I like enter. But I like him for one primary reason.. He is NOT a damn SUIT. I mean he is human. He looks human.

I think this series has a great combination of elements: 1) Decent drama between the characters 2) Awesome mech battles and 3) Fun silly stuff like banana missiles, french speaking bad guys, and hero weaknesses. I'm really into it so far.

Glad we could finaly see buster vehical 02 in battle. banana missles were a bit much. Loved that nedleroid! Best metaroid yet. I woulnt want to get stabed by him. Still cant stand yoko or her hair, I do love how I though the bunny buddyroid was going to be all girly sounding like bomber in Go-onger but turns out he's the hard disiplne of the three buddyroids. I like that. Mecha battles are what i look for most in a sentai and boy have they delivered. Also I like enter :) (ps. How long till ep 4 airs in japan?)

I'm trying really hard not to punish this show for not being Gokiager... but so far, it's leaving me flat. I like Enter, I like the Mecha battles... the fights have been pretty great thus far... but so far I don't particularly like or care about the Busters.

I'd have to say that is intentional. Between his corrupted audio file like repeating words three times, the Gratuitous French, and the robot tentacle attack, they are trying to show that this guy is no normal human being. Though it makes me wonder just where did he come from and how he is connected to Messiah. Was he a researcher from the facility that was sent off into Subspace corrupted by Messiah, or could he be the one who created the virus that spawned Messiah in the first place?
