Fourze Episode 26 - "The Perfect Round Dance" Discussion
Shun has been let down by Miu, Miu wants to go the prom with Gentaro, and Gentaro is, well, dense with girls :lol Lets see how this unfolds!
|
I would've preferred it if Shun and Miu were actually gone.
Would've made the end montage more powerful :p |
They set up all that about them leaving, even though it was just school they left. It's not like the Kamen Rider club was an official school club :lol.
|
I enjoyed the episode, but the ending was a bit of a cop-out :lol
The Zodiart was actually the obvious person for once too. |
I watched both 25 and 26 together and it was a brilliant arc. I'll agree with everyone that the ending was a bit of a cop out but still... What an episode/arc. It'd take too long for me to write everything I liked =p I think I'll go watch it again.
|
Yeah the ending made both this and last episode pretty pointless for me. I'm not a fan of romance based stories to begin with so while there were some good moments I enjoyed like Ryusei being forced to go to prom with Amane from Blade these episodes weren't for me.

I've gotta be honest - when I first opened up the file for this week's episode I was thinking to myself "oh cool, new arc, I wonder how this will go." I had completely forgotten that this was part two of the prom arc. That seems to be a recurring problem I'm having with Fourze right now - it really isn't leaving a lasting impression on me.
The episode itself, well, I liked it - quite a bit, in fact - but this whole story arc seemed really pointless. Outside of some moments for all the Gentaro/Miu shippers out there (:thumb:), the only development for the overall plot is that now Shun and Miu don't have to wear their school uniforms in the Rabbit Hutch. It really feels like Fourze is dragging right now and things like this arc aren't helping. Still, at least we got to see the other members of the Rider Club do something again. It's felt like they've been sidelined ever since Ryusei showed up. I found it weird that there was no scene with the Zodiart after she was defeated. Usually there's some follow-up on the Switch user, but this time she never showed up again - not even for a quick handshake scene. And yeah, the Rider Girls showed up to sing the prom song. Still hate them. |
Really liked this one. Fourze was kinda loosing me, but this one brought be back.
Starting to like Meteor also. |
Just saying did anyone else notice that when Kengo, Yuki, and Nozoma found the switch user, she said something along the lines of, "You'd understand, since your switch users as well!"(Don't remember the exact line.) That got me thinking, what if the reason they're not revealing Leo and Virgo is that they are actually Kengo and Yuki(Or Nozama.), sorry if this seems very unlikely.

What subs are you using? |
Honestly, i really enjoyed this episode. Correct me if im wrong but i think that that was nine9 singing. Also DANG shun pust have punched gentarou hard since his knuckles were bleeding, i was honestly really afraid that they were actually going to have shun and miu leave, but im glad that they didnt, also yeah, for once the zodiart was the obvious person, and. OMG they might be revealing to the other characters that ryusei is meteor!!!

I think it would of been a good episode if Shun and Miu were actually leaving the show

I absolutely loved this episode. The fight between the Zodiart and Meteor with the "Shooting Star" music was epic and made me think of old school Power Rangers with fun fight music.
And the preview for next episode? Looks like Ryu is discovered by Scorpion to be Meteor, and Ryu goes to transform but his "boss" denies the transformation, leaving him helpless and with Tomoko. Fourze is now starting to heat up for me! |
Bit late to the party, but I quite enjoyed the arc. I consider it 44 minutes of glorious dramatic irony, since, come on, would they really kick two of the main characters out halfway through the show?

I knew they couldn't be leaving, but still the end was such a cop-out. :P
Finally watched it last night and I really liked this episodes. Even all the music helped set the mood in scenes. Probably one of the better ones so far, in my opinion. |
Got around to watching this last night and really dug it. Glad to see Shun and Miu sticking around. I can't handle JK piloting Power Dizer :lol
All in all a great episode. That Rider Girls song was pretty awesome as well. Really dug it for the dance number. Shun and Miu really do feel irreplaceable to me so im glad to see them stay but I agree with everyone else that the buildup of them leaving was pointless when they copped out and stayed. "My college is right next door. And I have like 1 class so I can always hang out with high school kids!" |
I don't understand...two episodes about Miu and Shun leaving.
"Oh man...I liked Shun...but...there ARE way too many supporting characters" But then at the very end. They don't leave?! Kind of lame. Still Hair was kind of cool and I wish it was stretched out over a couple more episodes, as a secondary plot. |
