S.H.Figuarts ZERO Aries Zodiart Revealed
 

After being shown along with a complete Zodiarts display at Tamashi Nations earlier last year, the S.H.Figuarts Zero Aries Zodiart has finally been fully revealed.

The tyrant of Subaruboshi will be released as Toei Hero web exclusive, and he will be due out in July.

Technically Figuarts Zero, but hey- they remembered he exists.

Grrrr....The Zodiarts deserve full articulation Bandai!

I was really excited to get all twelve zodiacs.. then i heard that half were gonna be Zero's... boooooo

Just me or does it look his right hand is sculpted in such a way his magic stick might be removed from it?

Well, he's getting slightly better treatment than Cancer I guess.

(That's me assuming being a ToeiHero exclusive is slightly more respectable than being an Ishinomori one)

You couldn't honestly care less about any of this, could you Matrix? Is it the Zodiarts, Figuarts Zero, or just Fourze all together? Asking honestly here.

Figuarts Zero.
I love Fourze and the Zodiarts. It pains me that such creative designs were relegated to dull statues in poses that don't do anything to show their liveliness (Oh, Aries is holding his staff? Amazing. Cancer is standing there with his crab arm up? Riveting!)
After the announcement of Cancer as a Zero, I desperately desire for the ZERO line to fail now.

Yeah, I kinda poo poo on the whole Figuarts ZERO myself, because it sort of takes away from the highly articulate nature of the Figuarts line in general.


I will say though, I have the Yu Narukami Figuarts Zero, and he's a pretty gorgeous display piece, especially if you own D-Arts Izanangi.

It's a good compromise when it comes to figures that wouldn't sell enough to cover the cost of design and manufacturing an articulated version.

I wouldn't agree at all. This disregards the entire prospect of "Action poses" that the Figuarts line totes itself for.

Shame that Cancer ended up a Zero, that's my birthsign, would have loved to have an articulated version of him, especially as I really dug his character. Aries deserves better as well considering he was involved in a really important point in the series.

Slightly unrelated, also hate that Terror was a Figuarts Zero as well. And freaking Smilodon.

Smilodon being a zero is a travesty. Especially since CLAYDOLL of all Dopants got a S.H. Figuarts.

Well, while it could be argued that Terror was a ZERO because his head crest would make it damn near impossible to balance, Smilodon being a ZERO was total BS.

Cancer is the only Zodiart I'd even want to own after how piss poor Libra and Scorpio were. The rest of them being zeros actually makes me MORE likely to buy them because I don't have to worry about breaking the crappy mantle cape things they have or the various protruding parts of their bodies. Cancer is still the only one I really want but It's likely I'll pick up at least Aquarius as well.

I'd buy an articulated Cancer even if it didn't include the cloak.

But I'm never touching ZERO.
