Power Rangers Megaforce Theme Revealed!
 

For those of you who are anticipating the premiere of Power Rangers Megaforce today, here we have the Intro theme to the series! it seems to be the Samurai Theme with some words changed:

Okay so it's not as creative with the MMPR theme as Zeo was, but I do like that it's not exactly the same as the MMPR theme. It certainly has an identity of its own, and I guess using the MMPR theme is still justifiable considering this is the anniversary season.

I like it. To me it's a mix of MMPR & PRS.

....Yeah, it's as bad as the Samurai one. Which sucks, because both of those theme songs would be awesome...if they had more lyrics and were done by Wasserman; which I don't think will EVER happen again sadly. :(

That opening segment is horrible, and then it proceeds to sound like some weird stitched together of the Samurai theme. Very disappointing.

Oh well, still looking forward to the show!

Not gonna lie I kinda like it, ya it has some problems mainly "Rangers Forever Megaforce all together" but it works and the addition of the guitar riffs make it fell like a really unique theme. Also I'm of the part people who think a remix of MMPR works this year because of 20th anniversary so ya take that as you will.

I really like Japan's approach to their theme songs, they make it cool and catchy, songs that can almost be chart toppers, I think people who dig the songs would give the show more of a chance.

You all are nuts! That theme was farking awesome. I love the nod to Lost Galaxy, I love Me Ga Force, I love everything about this. Absolutely!

It's not bad, but it probably would have had better impact if Samurai had its own unique theme instead of a mix-up of the original theme as well.

I like it. It's much better than Samurai's version which I did think sucked. I have high hpes for Mega force from that opening.

I honestly don't think it's that bad. Not quite as good as I hoped they would do, but I can name quite a handful of themes worse than this.

I think it was great...But I think i might've have liked it more if Samurai didn't use the original theme and had it's own unique theme back then since the original MMPR theme is more suited for the 20th anniversary show.

It's not bad, but Saban? Just bring back Ron Wasserman. We miss him.

I know what you mean. If Samurai had its own theme instead of MMPR, Megaforce's use of MMPR would be more symbolic, being an anniversary season. Now it feels a bit like a retread.

And I thought Operation Overdrive had a bad enough song. This is fucking embarrassing Saban.

Hm. I wonder if every new PR series will just do some minor variation on "Go Go Power Rangers" from here on in.

While I like it there is zero originality to it. That makes me sad. :(

It would have been better if samuris opening was differnt from the origenal, but I did like the music to it

Eh.... First few secs were good and I liked the nod to Lost Galaxy at the beginning, but thats it. They should've kept with that throughout the song instead of going back to the "go go power rangers". I preferred the seasons having their own unique song.

Well, Im going to be honest. It was ok. I didnt like that the intro was just like Samurai, but, it was good. The theme is ok too. I wish instead of Samurais theme, they used MMPR actual theme. But it was good anyways. Cant wait for the second episode!

I like everything, especially the beginning, besides the "Rangers forever ____ " part, since y'know it's basically from Samurai. Even though they chant "Megaforce" in it I still hear "Samurai".

Meh. The new bit at the beginning is awful, and the fact that it's just Samurai's theme with slightly different lyrics is sad. Usually Power Rangers intros are wicked. This is... not.

Remember when we were all excited to have PR back with Saban? Yeeeaaaahhh....

Its OKAY. I can understand why PR: S would use the OG theme since PR had been dead for a year and needed CPR. And I can also understand why Megaforce would use it since Anniversary season and all. But why would Super Samurai use it? Power Rangers was back by that point and Samurai really needed to distinguish itself.


The song at least works.

Am I the only one who dislikes them saying their names out loud in the opening credits? It's just bugged me that they continued that over from Samurai.

I'll admit that annoyed me to, but what can you do.
