TokuNation.com Presents The Best Power Ranger of All Time Tournament
 

Greetings fellow Tokusatsu fans!

As a majority of you probably know, the American adaption of Super Sentai is referred to as Power Rangers, and for 20 years, Power Rangers have introduced so many of us to the joys and splendor that make up the world of Super Sentai.

But in 20 years of rich history, Power Rangers have had many different heroes take up the call to arms against everything from alien lifeforms, machine empires, demons, and time traveling villains. If you want to be exact, to date, a total of 97 separate heroes (101 if you count SPD Orange Ranger, Jarrod and Camille of Jungle Fury, and also the future Red Ranger in Samurai if it follows Shinkenger's storyline which all signs point to it will). Some of them have been with us more than others (hello Tommy!) and others were barely with us (here's looking at you Kendrix and Kat Minx).

So we at TokuNation.com want you, our loyal readers and members, to tell us ... who is the Best Power Ranger of All Time???

The heroes with the most nominations will be seeded higher, while those with lower nominations will be seeded lower. Tommy was an amazing character is Season 1 & 2 when he was the green ranger, with the exception of "King for a Day" & "Fighting Spirit" I never felt the character was anything special or memorable after he lost the Green powers, so this is why I do not include him.

I also thought Vida was awesome! Good choice! And I feel exactly the same about Tommy. I think he was a good character a bit overrated. There are plenty of other characters that deserve a chance to shine.

We all know Tommy's gonna win. I'm far my interested in second place. This tournament would be a lot harder if it was Super Sentai. In order of best to least best (bolded the names to help the counting):

Doggie/Shadow Ranger. The most badass alien dog snake ever.
RJ/Wolf Ranger. He kills things with his knees.
Billy/MMPR Blue. He is PR's Donatello.
Kimberly/MMPR Pink. First character to really have a stoty arc outside of Tommy.
Karone/Astronema/Galaxy Pink II. I'm sort of cheating here as she wasn't a ranger for very long and I barely saw those episodes, but she still counts.

Honorable mentions:
Dr. K. Not a ranger, but a huge part of what made RPM so enjoyable.
Blue Centurion. Why? Because he gave us one of the single best lines every.
Magna Defender. Not Mike. The real Magna Defender. Once he died, I literally quit watching PR for years. And that booming voice is still awesome.
Tommy and his raindow spandex. He doesn't need my help.
