Kamen Rider Wizard Axe & Beast Gun
 

The latest round of magazine scans have shown us two new weapons for the current Kamen Riders!

*Wizard's Shining AxeCaliber

*Beasts' Mirage Magnum

Both believed to be for the as-yet-unrevealed Final Forms. :) Hopefully we will see more information before their release in April.

That Axe/Sword thing.. So Beast is going to have a dragon to?

I like the Magnum but the Axe seems kinda silly. Especially for a guy uses a sword pretty often.

Yeah, an axe for a charcter who's been using a sword so often is just weird. :/

And the Axe... as a Dragon! Why dragon, Toei, why?

Technically, Beast's Final isn't totally un-revealed(the name and head silhouette were revealed awhile back(unless Beast Hyper isn't the final form)). Given the name of the axe, Wizard's Final Form might be "Shining Style" or "Shining Dragon Style". We'll see.

What's wrong with dragon axes?

Well, we'll see how it looks when RahToraTah uses it in the show.

Joking aside, why is Wizard getting an axe when a sword is much more practical. Also, Beast getting a gun kind of goes against his style....

Well, I can see that the axe will unfold into a larger sword. Still not sure if I'd get it though

It's still just a silhouette but it gives us a general idea of what he'll look like. Judging by the colors of the Magnum I'd say Hypers' secondary color will swap the black for blue.

I really hope Beast's new form isn't blue. I mean we have had Accel Trial and Meteor Storm as blue already..try a new colour toei!

Ah, gotcha. Do kinda recall seeing that before. Hmm not seeing too huge a difference in the design there outside of I think the crest/eyebrows sticking out maybe.

And yeah, likely a nice blue and gold look, I can dig that.

While I find the concept of an axe sword kind of awesome, and don't really find an issue with Beast getting a gun, these two weapons are the first Wizard merch I really dislike. It kind of feels like they ran out of ideas. They seriously look to me like knockoff KR merch, all that's missing is some stickers with Wizard on them.

I always imagined a blue-ish silver for the design. True, though, a change of pace would be appreciated. Wizard needs to break free from neo-heisei tropes.
