Beast in the Wrong Series?
I'm not sure if anyone else has had this train of thought, but does Beast feel like a Ryuki Rider to anyone else? He's made a "contract" with a monster giving him power to fight monsters, but needs to consume the monsters in order to survive. Even his personality feels like one you'd see in Ryuki to an extent, viewing other Riders as rivals.

Beast isn't a big enough dick to be from Ryuki.

Personality?
Unless I missed a scene where he confronted Haruto and told him that he's going to kill him in a complete straight face before shoving him into the mud and stole a child's candy, he's nowhere near the personalities presented in Ryuki. |
Not everyone in Ryuki was a complete and total dick. It's been a while but I'm pretty sure Imperer wasn't one.

If anything, Beast acts more like an Imagin has taken him over. |
Beast acts more like a main Rider than a sub Rider. I think he got the shaft being the second Rider in Wizard.
So yeah, I do think he's in the wrong series. |

I agree with Barricade. Beast feels like something out of Ryuki, but not as flushed out as Knight, or Ryuki, or Ouija. He definately feels out of place somehow in Wizard. And I'm still trying to get past the RahToraTah helmet.

Was anyone else hoping Beasts upgrade weapon was a Miracle whip?

We already had iwillavengemyfriendbruceleestyle kung fu rider last year,so a change of pace ain't bad. He's the perfect Date Akira MK II.

I think Kousuke works well as a counterpoint to Haruto, which tends to be the hallmark of a good primary/secondary Rider pairing. I wouldn't say Beast feels more like the main Rider, though (unless Gentaro is your only point of reference, that is).
