I was searching through the Radicon page over at TFw2005, and came upon an idea. Something I'm shocked no one has thought of before. Are you ready?

Power Rangers vs Transformers!

Why isnt this an idea already?! Optimus Prime vs Zandredd, Samurai Megazord vs Megatron! Come on people!

but the megazords would just step on the transformers if you go by how they scale in the shows

it would take a combiner or a city bot to take them on, and even then, sentai mecha are so overpowered that it would be a losing battle for the transformers :lol

Now you've got me wondering what a Power Rangers comic by IDW Would be like.:lol

like a Pokemon kinda thing? i thought about that, i not a fan of seeing a Transformer as a "pet" lol! Equal partners i'm ok with. in a battle? Rangers would win every time. lol!

Maybe not. Megs tends to be overpowered. But it would be funny as all hell to see Starscream fly up to the head of a Megazord, and start yelling at it.

It sounds awesome, but I don't know how well it would pan out.

Really, it's the size difference that makes things weird. The TFs tower over the Rangers, and the Zords tower over the TFs. Interaction and fights would be all over the place.

I think it could still work. Like DaiRiderX said: They could use combiners. And they already did a dimensional hop episode when RPM Red came to town. Problem is: They'd probally use movie prime. And that would anger me. ... Prime does not have abs, Micheal Bay!

wait till the bays TMNT movie come out. back to topic, i can so see rangers becoming power/god master to a gasalt team... MMPR power/god master to dinobot like robots someone do a custom!

Im glad im not the only one who has though of this. I have a fan fic with a crossover or mobilesuite gundam, Power rangers, dr who, transformers and CUBIX. (haters gona hate)

Realistically?

Transformers/Power Rangers/Super Sentai cannot happen because of very obvious reasons (TakaraTomy vs. Toei/Bandai, Hasbro vs. Saban/Toei) ... someone has to "win" and neither side wants their property to "lose" so to speak because of the fact that they compete for the very same demographic in terms of boys action figure sales and, to an extent, television ratings (which mean nothing, it's all a vice to sell toys).

The only reason Avengers/Transformers happened in comic form was due to the fact that Marvel and Hasbro signed an agreement for Hasbro to do design and distribution for the action figure portion of the license (used to be ToyBiz). Now that Marvel is owned by Disney I don't know how long that agreement will stay in tact as Disney has always had their properties represented by Mattel, which would be awkward as Mattel handles DC's answer to Marvel Legends, and thus two distinct different license holders would compete against each other with the same company designing and distributing them.

It would be fun ... and maybe someday, long down the road, but not anytime soon.

Though if TakaraTomy ever successfully creates their own style of Tokusatsu, it could happen ... but that's not an easy market to get in to.

They can always unite to fight against a common enemy, like the Super Hero Taisen!

Also, look at EVERY Sentai Vs.
They're always a team up :p

Tamashii's right, Kicker. They start off fighting each other because they were both lied to, and then they join forces for some heavy metal kickass.

This thread makes me really curious as to how many members on Tokunation are from TFW2005.
