Power Rangers Zeo: Dx Zeo Megazord Gallery
16 Attachment(s)
Tokunation's celebration of the Power Rangers 20th anniversary continues this month with a look back at Power Rangers Zeo. Our first gallery is none other than the Zeo Megazord, also known as Ohranger Robo from Choriki Sentai Ohranger.
The Zeo Megazord was designed and built by Billy and Alpha 5 and appeared early in the season. The Megazord is made up of five individual zords, creatively influenced by mythological beasts and beings. Zeo Zord I: Based on Moai statues Zeo Zord II: Based on Dogū figurines Zeo Zord III: Based on a sphinx Zeo Zord IV: Based on Taurus Zeo Zord V: Based on the phoenix The Zeo Megazord is unique in that it had five individual battle helmets, giving it access to cannon, rocket, pyramid, and gravity powers as well as it's default warrior mode. The fate of the Zeo Zords was left uncertain with the series' quick shift into Turbo, but it is presumed that the zords still lay dormant in the mountains surrounding Angel Grove. Fweeeee! :D
I'd been waiting for this gallery since I saw the theme for this month was Zeo! This was my very first Megazord. I've had it for longer than I can remember. A few tiny parts are broken (those stupid clips on the ropes of Zords One and Two...), the stickers have definitely seen better days, and... well... the sword... I was young, okay? But god did I love that thing. And still do! If ony all Megazord releases since have had arm articulation like this guy did. :P |
The clips on the pink and yellow zords are the most common thing broken on a Zeo Megazord or OhRobo. In fact they're one of the most often broken pieces of ANY Power Rangers Megazord and most Sentai Robos :lol
|
I never knew it had that helmet gimmick, that's pretty cool.
|
This is one of my favourite Megazords ever. I wish I owned it.
|
I wish I had a better setup and any skill at photography as I would contribute an OhRobo gallery. The big difference is beautiful, beautiful gold chrome. That brown/goldish plastic on Sphinx's front paws, Moai, an Dogu are all gold chrome, the sword is chrome silver blade with a gold chrome hilt.. and the tow cables on Moai and Dogu? Gold chrome chains. I've never regretted picking up OhRobo

Truly a thing of beauty :D
|
I notice a disturbing lack of The Sword in these pictures :eyebrow
|
one good thing about this zord were the arms they were godly.sadly the one downsize was the clips and of course they are ropes rather than chains.another thing was people always seemed to loose the helmets on those things
|
I still have mine, on my shelf, still combined with my DLX Red Battlezord.
One problem though, I lost the sword and the base Megazord helmet, the Zeo Ranger V one. |
this was one of my wished i owned it list the closes thing i got to this was the small play set verstion that can still combine to make the zord and on it own form playset for every one else.

The Zeo Megazord, along with the Ninja Megazords, tempted me back into Power Rangers when I was trying to give them up. At that time, Power Rangers was no longer "cool" in school so I couldn't admit to liking them. Plus, my parents would no longer buy the rather pricey Megazords anymore. Thus I swore to give up Power Rangers, but I still found myself occasionally sneaking upstairs to watch Zeo on our tiny TV.
Megazords like these make me wish they'd re-release some of these Zords as an anniversary special. :( |
Absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite gattai robos of all time.
I don't even recall ever seeing this on the shelf... I would have been tempted to buy it, but that would have been hard to explain away to my parents as I was in HS at the time, heh... |
I had the Action Zord version of this Megazord (Individual zords that were playsets and could combine into the Megazord) and I absolutely adored it.
|
I always disliked this Megazord, felt....out of place, then the Super Zeo Megazord came onto the scene and I now have trouble remembering this megazord even happened.
|
I've always loved this Megazord. Even if Yellow and Pink's were a little useless. I mean they couldn't even move on their own without Green and Blue pulling them everywhere. And So Much Gold Chrome!

The only thing I didn't like about this Megazord is that half of it was chrome, the other half a soft carmel color.

I believe that. But I'd rather have one or the other. It's why I never really saw the appeal in Buster Prime.
|
saban give zeo rangers 's zeo zords too early in pr zeo series
zordon should give zeo zords to zeo rangers like ep 6 or 7 ep |
