What do you collect?
 

I was wondering what poeple around here collect other than toku. I know there are a lot people from TFW here so Transformer is ussaly a givin. I got a few odds and ends but the main stuff out side Toku anTF's are Bosou Shinkis and Saint Myth cloth.
So what do all collcet?

I collect MLP Blind Bag figures. I have all 24 from Wave 1 and the Glittering Rarity from Wave Not in America yet. I also have the full intentions of buying the other waves too.

As for other stuff I collect, I buy lots of Mugenbines, but I don't buy enough of them often enough to call it "Collecting."

I started with Transformers but migrated to Toku only now. I do have a few Star Wars Legos and I grabbed 5 of the 4 inch Tron Legacy Figures but thats about it. Mostly im just going for Ranger Keys, Figuarts and DX Zords.

I wouldn't say I "collect" things of any category. I do have a lot of Transformers, but I only get the ones I like. The only line I've ever felt like being completist with is the current TF:Prime line. I do have some Gundam model kits, mostly Master Grades. In general I just buy toys I think are cool whether or not they "belong" in my collection.

Main thing I collect are Gundam model kits, SHF Are a close second, and Transformers are sorta bottom tier for me,not to say that TFs are bad, but I don't get excited for them as I do the other two stuff. I'll also buy the occasional Figma and Revoltech here and there.

I mostly collect transformers, toku, and anime related items. i'm really into figmas. I collect pretty much stuff i like, like the new thundercats cartoon's toyline

Transformers, S.H.Figuarts, and BIONICLE. Lots and lots of BIONICLE. That's about the only one of the three I've actively collected in the past 10 years (and say I still am even though the line's dead because I don't have everything). SHFs I've only recently gotten into and Transformers is now a pick-and-choose deal.

Macross!!! I also collect the Ultra Act line, S.H. Figuarts, Soul of Chogokin, Saint Seiya, Super Robot Chogokin and (very little) Transformers.

I collect Transformers, Lego, mostly Star Wars, some of the lego blind bags, and i just recently fell down the rabbit hole that is the MLP blind bags, i would say Sideshow's Star Wars line, but I only have 1 figure so, Figuarts, but again I only have 1, and no it's not toku related, sadly :(, and Gundam model kits

I wish I could too, but just they're all just too darn expensive

I guess I could say I collect Figuarts, but I really don't. Aside from the mane Riders and one or two other characters I enjoy (And sparingly, their Hyper mode), I don't really have the drive to collect that many...

wut? But yeah I don't collect figuarts either, for the same reason I have yet to buy any macross stuff, I mean, I really want to, but again it is a bit expensiv

Im the same way with SOC, the toys are amzing but are just too far out my buget range.

Daleks are my main collection priority (they heavily outweigh anything else I own :lol) a long with out Doctor Who stuff. Other than that and Toku merch its mostly revoltech and figma, although those tend to depend on whether the figures are from anything I like.

Have kind of strayed away from Transformers these days (poor UK distribution didn't help and I don't want to have to import more than I already did) but there are a couple of Prime toys I'd like to pick up.

Short answer is Too Damn Much!

Star Wars - Hasbro figures, Gentle Giant Mini busts (and a couple statues), Titanium Vehicles, a few SW TFs, Action fleet, Master Replicas Scaled Lightsaber hilts, Master Replicas Scaled Clone Trooper helmets, a few Kotobukias,

LOTR - Gentle Giant Busts, Animated styles statues, and a couple of the Sideshow/Weta pieces

Spawn - only variations of Spawn himself
McFarlane Dragons - I still want them all, but I've only gone 4 or 5 into the line

DCUC - nearly a complete collection of the single figures, though I've started to prune that a little bit, Plus all the unique figures from DCSH

Also whichever random DC Direct figures I like, leaning towards those that hadn't been released in DCUC (at the time)

MOTUC - not many, just the ones I like

World of Warcraft - Quite a few of these, though not nearly all of the ones I want yet

Marvel Legends - not many, 20-ish
A few random Marvel Universe figures that I haven't been able to bring myself to opening, in case I decide to sell them, but I haven't been able to make myself sell them off yet, either.

GI Joe - Rise/Pursuit of Cobra mainly, with some 30th Anniversary, and a nearly complete set of the Sigma 6 line

A few random/misc Revoltech figures

NECA Movie figures - Hellboy/HB2, Predator, Aliens, Terminator

HotWheels - 1/50 Batmobile line and the Star Trek ships

AA/DST 7" Star Trek figures, again nearly complete on the TNG/DS9 figures, sadly missing most of the TOS crew still, but I have all three versions of Khan released.

Small contingent of Swords, the only ones worth mentioning being 4 Highlander sword replicas

Transformers - way too many, mostly in the Classics type lines, but also some Armada/Energon/Cybertron figures that are pretty cool, and a few Third Party items

Kamen Rider - SH/SHF (W, Kiva, Kuuga, and Den-O) SIC (W and Den-O), MG Figurerise (W), W role play toys and Gaia Memories, Fourze Module Change figures on the way

And I'm breaking into Sentai a little bit, with a couple DX Mechs, Super Robot Chogokins, and the Gokaiger minipla kits.

Oh, and comic book TPBs, I have a decent number of those.


But, I'm only actively working on Kamen Rider, with a little bit of TF and Sentai mixed in. But I think i can safely say I will buy at least one more of each of the above groups, at some point in the future.

Power Rangers, Transformers, random Fantasy statues, and those cheap dollar-a-peice wood models they sell at Micheal's.

I used to collect Macross and Transformers toys, as well as Gundam kits. Gokaiger put a dent on my wallet throughout the past year.

Besides toys, I collect cool socks... because i like to wear them and have people notice them... yay

I used to collect figuarts and sentai mecha, but I lost interest after about a year and sold most of them. I have various transformers, but not enough to make me a transformers collector. Now I like collecting 1/6 scale figures, Hot Toys and PBM. But lately after watching anime, I kinda want to get into Figma figure collecting. Especially K-On. Great anime.

Super stoked. PBM Fourze and RAH Blade comes out in a few months from now. :D

I typically collect Transformers toys, manga, and anime DVDs. I also collect anything depicting the Mayor of Halloween Town from The Nightmare Before Christmas (action figures, pins, plushies, etc.)

Figuarts, Ultra-Acts, Figmas, various robot models/figures and diecast cars.

My main hobby is Transformers.

Used to collect Bionicles, Cubix stuff, Power Rangers(of course), KR dragon knight, Transformers various video game figures, Halo 3 and Reach figs, Batmobiles, Some Ben 10 stuff. 3ds games...ya thats it.

I collect Freddy Gloves, Transformers (but i have really steered away from that unless its a really unique figure), a variety of toys from video game figures (Mega Man Kotobukiya, Classic Sonic), The NECA TMNT figures, and the NECA Freddy Kruger line. My Gokaiger Mobirates is my 1st Sentai toy!

My main collection is Transformers, but I've been collecting less and less since Animated ended.

Pass that I go with these categories:
4" Human Scale. I have a comic series and this is the normal scale. Anything in this size is used if I have a use for it. Mainly GI Joes and Star Wars, but everything is included (unless I hate the line/company/fiction they go with). I do hope the new TMNT line fits in this scale well.

5-6" Gaint Robots. I don't care about the real scaling of these robots as long as they're all the same general size. This size is popular with a lot of non-TF bots I like. Plus, they look great fighting in a Mirco Machine city.

Playsets. Technically a sub of the above collections, but scale doesn't have to be anything near perfect here. For 4" almost anything goes as I can retrofit chairs and the like to work. Personally favorite set is the 2k3 TMNT Lair Playset. As mentioned above, Micro Machines are awesome for 6" Robots.

6" Human Scale. I blame Trigun for this collection. I'd be able to resist Figmas and SHFs if not for Trigun finally having good toys.

Other/Scale Be Damned! Those things I will buy because I want something in my collection of it and I don't care how big/small it is. This is how my 6" Humans got started. My past collections belong here as well, such as TMNT, older Power Rangers, and random childhood toys. I should thin out these collection, actually.

Transformers (quit), Core medals (7 left for all the single color combos), some astro switches (just want fourze's basic switches 1-4 and the OOO switch, currently own Meteor Switch.)

I vary based on what i think would make a cool display =p
I'm currently trying to get a representation of every Heisei rider and one other rider from that series wether its in figuart form or Souchaku henshin.

I'm also collecting fourze switches and figuarts of all his forms.

Sentai wise I collect the minipla, although I'm yet to get all the figures from a series. Power rangers I collect the megazords, mainly samurai ( we haven't had anything new since the clawzord.. And haven't even had the octozord or wave 2 of the 4") and trying to get ninja storm and wild force zords.

Apart from that.. Transformers but I have no real interest in prime, mainly because the first editions looked so much better. Err and trade paperbacks of various comics =]

2 Is Elek States, right? I got mine off Mandarake, for 1200 yen, I think, plus shipping. And it was totally worth it. I just got Magnet States in from HLJ, and it's pretty cool too, even if it really only has two modules that can be used by the other figures.

In fact, I see three at 1200 yen and under on Mandarake right now.

Right now I am only collecting SHF 's of Kamen Riders & Super Sentai. The new playmates Ninja Turtles are the only thing at retail that interest me. I used to collect DC Universe classics , but have since sold them to support my figuarts collection. Looking forward to the megaforce and 20th Ranger stuff.

Kamen Rider-

• Medals- trying to get the 11 Heisei Riders before OOO, the black cores, Kangaroo and Panda Cores, and the Imagin, Skull, and Joker Medals. Currently have the 21 Main Combo Cores
• Astro Switches- The Circle Switches (Main ones from the series,) as in if I ever get the Fourze Driver, I just want what works in the Barizun Sword.May go and get the other circle switches. Still looking for OOO Switch. Currently have Magic Hand, Schop and Meteor.

Super Sentai-

• Sixth Ranger Keys- Since Gai is my favorite male Gokaiger, I thought it would be cool to get his ranger keys. Looking for DragonRanger, KibaRanger, KingRanger, MegaSilver, TimeFire, GaoSilver, Shurikenger, AbareKiller, DekaBreak, MagiShine, BoukenSilver, Go-On Gold, Go-On Silver, ShinkenGold, GokaiSilver and Gold Anchor Key. Currently have Go-On Wings Hybrid Key and GoseiKinght Key.

Want to collect in near future- Wizard's style rings. I wanna get the Flame, Water, Hurricane and Land Style rings.

Right now I'm collecting GI Joe, 3rd party Transformers, selected Japanese articulated figures(figuarts, figma, playarts, etc).

For the most part I just collect Transformers and Figuarts.

Gundam models and S.H.Figuarts, is my main thing


Transformers, D-Arts, Figma, and Revoltech I buy on occasion

And I also get the odd video game here or there

My Little Pony toys, notably Blind Bag Figures (I do get brushables if they appeared on the show).

I technically collect Figuarts, but recently I've slowed to a near halt on them, there being a 4 month gap between my previous Figuart purchase and my current one (Fourze Base States).

I want to say that I collect Digimon D-Arts, but thanks to their devotion to MMX and my lack of interest in Beelzemon and Wargreymon, I can't.

There was a point where I collected Transformers, but shoddy quality and boring source material has put a damper on that. At this point, it's mostly Figuarts and Pokemon cards, which isn't much.

Really I buy whatever appeals to me. I'm no completist. I just buy w/e is cool.

I want all the SHF OOO Combos. I currently have GataKiriBa and Tajador.
I have the SHF Gokaigers. I'm trying to avoid wanting to get whole teams of Sentai. I might just try and get only all the Greens.

I'm enjoying the role play toys. Love the OOO and W Drivers. I kinda want a Decadriver.

I love the SH Monsterarts line. I only have the original Godzilla release and I plan to get King Ghidorah.

D-Arts Digimon are also amazing. I have Omegamon/Omnimon and Wargreymon. I may get Dukemon/Gallantmon and I'm really hoping for a Metalgarurumon release.

Oh and Transformers. Love the Prime and MP lines.
