Not for liking Megaforce, but for admiting you're blindy loving this show and then ask why someone would blindy hate it.

It is bad and will forever be bad by default because it is Power Rangers.

Please tell me you're one of those insane Sentai purists. I've also wanted to study one of those uncompromising fools. :D

I have. And boy is it jarring (but somewhat enjoyably so) to see campy designs from a Japanese kids show...that is on an American kids show that drops the camp and has CARTELS AND PLANETARY OMNICIDE ORCHESTRATED BY A COMPUTER VIRUS A 17-YEAR-OLD GIRL LOCKED IN A SHADY GOVERNMENT FACILITY WAS FORCED TO CREATE. It makes Go-Onger hard to watch in a sense.

But onto Megaforce.
Forget the cards, the real annoying Elephant in the Room is "WHY IS TENSOU ARMLESS?" How does he help Gosei with out arms or some other grabbing mechanism? Wireless communication with the Command Cave's AI can only go so far. What if a pelican somehow got stuck in the fan? Or Gosei fell of his wall? Or the Blue pedestal's lightbulb burned out?
Sure, Time Force's robot buddy, Circuit, is an Owl and couldn't do much in that regard, but he was a supercomputer time radio (that should've gotten his own toy).

That's an unfair assessment.
My 4th Sentai was Sun Vulcan.
If I let that piece of shit sway my opinion I would've never started Deka, finished Gosei, or download Go-Onger.

Basically, Sun Vulcan is crap.
It's shit.
Why is it so popular?
I'd rather marathon Decade again before watching Sun Vulcan again.
Jesus Christ, I just realized that despite everything that I say about Decade and Gokaiger, I at least FINISHED them. Damn...

Oh, and Megaforce: Are people still treating the cards as an issue? It's an inconsequential scene that doesn't really make much difference.

I get where you're coming from, but I still don't like Power Rangers nor will I ever like Power Rangers.

I only brought that up in this thread to dismiss it and get people to question how Tensou can aid Gosei when Tensou can't grab or hold things.

Okay, so the episode just explained where Troy got all of those milk jugs (he went diving in the recycling bins).

They don't waste time establishing the plot.

I'll say this, today's NickComs suck.

Also, DragonFlay sounds almost exactly like how SpeedRacerFlubber dubbed him.

That was a bit mean of Troy to say you need special powers to fight monsters. So many children just had their dreams destroyed. They'll probably prove Troy wrong, though.

"You shouldn't have followed us here..." Most. Menacing. Red Ranger. EVER.

My God, Bratz are just getting creepier.

Connections to the first episode. I approve.

I would have liked it if they made Troy a cocky Red Ranger. That might have made him a more interesting character.

Another good episode. I really enjoyed this one, and how they changed the original script. But yet kept it in enough areas were the Japanese footage made sense. Nice to see them actually trying with this season.

Next week though, if I remember right, is bringing us Gosei Knight. So let's see how they handle him fighting Wartsar, when in Goseiger.. not so much.

Other than Gia losing a couple inches in height when she morphs, I really enjoyed this one.

Just started watching it. They did not even try to hid Ryuuranger in the Legend War footage. Love it when that happens. :D

Edit: I really admire this dude's dedication to his cover story. He is totally going to get killed, just to try and score some tail.

I love how the Black Ranger got an attitude with the guy claiming to be the Red Ranger. Troy calling Jake by his name in front of the guy while in costume was a jerk move.

The fight scenes were pretty good. The monster was pretty cool looking. The zord scenes were awesome. The poser was a little annoying though. 4.5/5.

I'm thinking the Dairanger suits will be retconed into being five powerful ancient Rangers that had their power recycled to make the White Ranger. And that retcon would then be used to explain how the Red Turbo Ranger and the Blue Space Ranger can coexist in time despite being the same person.

Another pretty good episode. Two good episodes in a row have me feeling a lot better about MegaForce after a slow start.

One thing I noticed in this episode is that after staring in one of his own, Noah was practically non-existent in this one. That's one thing they could improve on, just balancing out the prominence of the characters. I know it's normal to have episodes focus on one or two characters specifically, but so far Jake and Gia seem to steal the show every time, while Troy and Emma are hardly heard from at all, and Noah goes from being the main character in one episode to invisible in the next. I've been leery of these characters for a while, and think they need some major development, and it's hard to see that happening the way it should when they bounce from one character to the next and leave the others in the dust in the process.

I also have to admit that MegaForce seems a lot less kidsy than other Power Rangers seasons. Jake's flirting with Gia in every episode seems to border on PG13 territory. And Gia took a pretty mean jab at Jake while they were commenting on the fake red ranger at Enrie's. Troy seemed a little bit intimidating when confronting the fake-red, and I possibly sent the same message to all the kids out there that you can't be a hero without super powers. Not that I'm complaining, I think it's refreshing, but it just seems like a big departure from the usual Power Rangers, and surprising after the a first episode that seemed like 30 minute toy showcase.

I guess if nothing else, MegaForce is getting a bit more interesting.

Know what I was hoping? That Jordon would pull a Mike and become RoboKnight. Long shot, I know, but hey.

I thought for some reason we would see the sky brothers because it was reds episode, maybe pink will be the foucus (and maybe yellow) next episode, all headers combine then we get to see Gosie Kinght

Sorry to rain on your parade, but if that episode list was right (and so far it has been, as was the Samurai one that came from the same source) Robo Knight isn't joining until episode 8.

Pretty decent episode. Jordan does seem to have potential to become an ally to the Rangers. Maybe not a ranger though. He'll be Nozomu :lol

Somewhere, someone else is just as certain that Jordan is GokaiSilver.
