In an complete unexpected magazine scan, it seems a new Kyoryuger has been revealed! KyoryuCyan!

Not much is known about this new character, but stay tuned to tokunation for more news!

KyoryuCyan is the Steel Hero from 500 years ago.
He doesn't show up "in person" but in spirit form.

I absolutely love the shape of his helmet. But I still think that all of them would look, just a little, better without the painted on mouthpeice. Just a big black visor.

Mouthpiece is supposed to be a tongue. I didn't like it either until I was told that.

Wow, so they're really going along with the many Kyoryugers idea!

Looks like they are going for a past heroes route, so there'll probably be a few more colours popping up before long. I can dig it.

As for Cyan himself...the colour is cool (I love the lighter shades of blue) but the helmet design is really plain. I hope future ones are a bit more interesting.

He's going to be like Gosei green isn't he? .. just a one episode appearance, with a bit more screen time probably =p

So, if this is the new pattern for the show- with Spirit Rangers showing up to deliver new Zords- we could easily see over TWO DOZEN Kyoryugers.

Ankylosaurs kick ass but cyan? Odd choice, especially for a male Ranger.

You know what... I think I might be ok with that. But then again, I'm crazy over extra zords and combos.

I think so too.I don't mind if they're there for one episode,as long as the other kyoryugers dont take too much story from the main 5-6.I just hope I'm right in the fact that the new 5 we know of have to earn the Zyudenryu instead of just get them handed to them.

Wow, our first chubby Sentai hero since Yellow Owl way back when…and a white dude to boot!

Yeah, I'll probably like this guy. Anyone rocking an awesome beard like that and has a ankylosaurus theme. Yeah, this is going to make me bare with the awful device voice long enough to see him in action.

PS This reminds me: Toei, please take note that Kamen Rider needs another multi-Rider series.

Well, except Gosei Green didn't have an actual suit, and it was just an edited Gosei Blue. No helmet was ever made either. With that in mind, the picture, and the fact we have a whole, real suit, I'd say he'll be around more than once.

Diend was cyan. Cyan, very close to baby blue, is used to symbolize when male babies are born in hospitals. (Though back in the day the colors were switched and the males got pink.) Also, NinjaBlue shared a very similiar color and was male.

People just think of HurricaneBlue and run with that. :/

Diend's cyan coloration was to keep in line with the CMYK theme.

Also, while Ninja Blue was a very light blue, you must remember that was back in, what, 1994?

Yeah, but it's still not a primary girl color. It's more of a "guy" color. But just like names, Morgan, Jamie... why do colors have to belong to a certain sex?

And Hurricanger was in 2002. I don't recall having a female blue since then, light blue, cyan, baby blue or otherwise.

My point is it's not like it's been done to death enough to establish "lightish blue" as a female Ranger color. Had the trend kept up, I'd be inclined to agree. So far it's 1:1 though.

Magiranger had a female blue three years later.

Dig this. Love the idea that the older rangers show up as 'spirits' but they also get costumes. I have a feeling that Toei is going to go to the color well for this.

But when do we get a female Green, Black, or Gold? And a male pink! The one time uses in Gokaiger doesn't count. :p

The one for Bunpachy will probably be dark purple or grey. Hmm... Have we seen any orange zyudenchi yet? :D

Please don't make a purple hero.
Because then I'd have to compare them to Gekiviolet and RJ.
And they set the bar pretty damn high.

Am I the only one who counts Wolzard as a hero that's purple?

As far as I know, he's not a hero until he's red. Purple is villain for him.

PS I want every color ranger. White, Silver, purple, yellow, brown, orange, etc, etc. :p

I thought he was only a hero as Wolzard Fire, who's red.

An official brown would be cool.

I still believe in Wolzard as the first proper purple senshi.

I've been looking at that big picture that shows Zyudenchi 6-23, looks like 17 will be an orange. :D
