Hey guys! Remember the popular poll series from last year that riled up everybody and got some good discussion and debates in? Well, it's that time of year again guys! This time, instead of me picking who fights who, I want your suggestions! However, here's the game plan that's in store-


So post your suggestions for battles here, and also vote in the poll if you wanna start with the Showa or Heisei tournament! Thanks for reading! Battles will officially start on March 23!

Showa, because some of these Hesai Riders are just plain weird. ;) Plus all my favorites are Showa.

Is Fourze going against someone really beatable a suggestion?

My vote is for Heisei. The only suggestion that I can think of offhand if Ryuki vs. Ryuga, because I wasn't to amused with Agito interloping in their battle last time.

this is weird suggestion...but why not the actual Riders vs each other non powered?

Anyway, I'd prefer Heisei first. No disrespect to Showa, but the Heisei battles were just more fun, because most people knew them, meaning it led to actual debates and not 10 straight battles of "Well, I don't know much about Super-1/Amazon/Stronger/Other Showa Rider, so I'm just going to vote for their opponent."

As for some match ups, let's go predator vs. prey.
Chameleon Vs. Dragonfly, Verde Vs. Drake
Lion Vs. Gazelle, Beast Vs. Imperor
Wasp Vs. Spider, TheBee Vs. Leangle
Shark Vs...Another Shark, why not. Faiz vs. Abyss

And stuff like that. It'd be pretty limited to animal and insect themed characters, but I think it'd lead to some neat matches.

So... Scissors? :p

I'd actually put my money on Kazuya for that one. Ryusei would probably be his final opponent, though.

Pretty much this, yeah. The Showa era sadly just doesn't have the same fanbase as the Heisei. Plus with only twelve Riders, Tackle, and Shadow Moon you'd exhaust the options really quickly.

My one caveat, though? We should totally throw the First/Next Riders into the mix. Those movies came out in the Heisei era, after all.

There was one or two occasions on the the last tournament where someone's opinion actually changed, but because they had already voted, it led to possibly skewed results, since many placed votes before they got to reading arguments and counter arguments.

The schism between Showa and Hesai Kamen Riders really amuses me in a lot of ways. You definitely do not see this in the Ultraman series, nor really in the Super Sentai. I guess because your typical Showa Rider series is so radically different from your Hesai Rider series.

I have no illusion of Showa winning -- especially given the demographics of this board which lean heavily towards the Hesai Riders. As such I want to say that I really like Switchblade's idea of adding the movie Riders, as they are indeed Hesai era. So I endorse that idea as a sort of bone to the Showa fans.

Save the big boys for last.

They both encompass the full power of their collected power, and would make for an interesting match. Long as people vote right and not against Decade solely because they hate Decade.

There's a rule which I live by -- if it's funny it overrules anything! :lol

And they're both two of the most clusterfucky ultimate form suits!

Anyway, I just had an idea, too. Kaixa vs. Kengo Ixa vs. Armed Kiriya vs. V1 from Agito - battle of the Toshiki Inoue asshole supporting characters!

Not just because of the obvious "Friendship is Magic" connotations, but I want to a fight between a spam attacker and a spam defender :lol

Voted Showa. Won't win, but whatever. I'd personally love to see some Showa vs Heisei matches, as well some Showa vs Showa and Heisei vs Heisei.

Also, we already did the female Rider match-up last time. I want to say Nadeshiko won. I know that L'Arc was unintentionally left off the poll at first.

Tackle isn't a Rider, L'Arc was a bitch, and battles involving more than one character is just too chaotic.
